He munched on the food and savored the taste, grinning. "It's delicious!"

Nami smiled " its just a sandwich " she pushed her fingers together " but im glad you like it "

He chowed down and wiped his dirty mouth. "That was so good...thanks Nami-chan," he said, smiling. He would kiss her, but he wasn't allowed.

" well minato kun you should get home " nami said quietly

"I don't want to, I wanna stay with you," he huffed.

you have to go home im sure your family is worried " nami chided " its not like you wont see me tomorrow "

"My parents get drunk all the time and hit me, they won't care if I'm not home," he said bitterly. "They don't care."

Nami's eyes went wide " go home get every thing you own you can live with me " she said seriously

"...can...can I bring my baby sister? I... I can't leave her with them... I... I have to take care of her," he pleaded

" er that would be kidnapping Minato kun ... we could be arrested " nami said worriedly

"But they abuse her..." He clutched his head. "They sold her for money for their sake and gambling and I had to buy her back.. I have to be with her..."

" could you get her to confirm your story ?" nami asked

"Since you don't believe me...fine." He lifted his shirt a little to show an ugly, wide scar above his hip. "Broken sake bottles hurt." He sighed and started walking home.

nami ran after him " Its not that I dont believe you but we need proof in order to tell the authorities "

"Why should anyone believe a brat like me?" he asked, his voice sour.

Nami sighed " minato kun I believe you and if you tell the police they will too " she pleaded with him

"I just want to take her away...but my parents are ANBU," he said, and laughed humorlessly. "They are untouchable."
