A wolf's bite

Chidori looked at the blades doing a few practiced swings. He walked over to the targets that had been set up and sliced at it. "It looks like, These blades are chakra based. I'd say one of the chakra natures supply these blades with extra power, They're a rare Shinobi weapon." Chi dori handed yoshi his blade back before drawing his own, "I'll show you how my blades are my chakra nature further itself." Putting the tips of his two blades together Lightning started to form he swung the blades leaving a hole in the wooden target

Yoshitsune wasnt entirely sure what Chidori meant by the blades reacting to chakra. He had tried to funnel chakra into them before and all that he could do was shoot wind from them. He looked at Chidori after he tore a whole in the target. "Do you know how i can tap into my blade's powers?" He asked

Chidori sheathed his blade and thought for a moment "Well, You'll need to do a couple things, First is you need to know your chakra nature. If you tried to funnel your nature through them an they didn't do anything then find someone with different natures" Chidori had heard of these blades and thought back on the rhyme he had long forgetten. "My best guess is that these blades should be used by someone with Two chakra nature. Or by a team."

Yoshitsune didnt really know what to do. He had a chakra nature of wind. And only one of the swords seemed to react strangely to it. He held out one of the swords and began to funnel in chakra, the blade began to turn blue but other than that it looked rather ordinary. "Do you know if they would react to their names?" He asked.

"I guess its a possibility" Chidori shrugged he had heard many storys of swords having their own souls. "But i'd say chakra more then names." Chidori thought for a moment. then sat on a rock "Once in a small village there were two swords men, They fought viciously for the title of best swords men in the village. they fought for years before deciding to meet at sunset. They fought for 5 hours before a draw came to them both dying. The gods took pity on them and transfered their souls to two blades, One made the the hottest fire of a volcano one of the coldest winds in the sky" Chidori stopped and looked at yoshi's swords almost in a trance

Yoshitsune looked at the swords in his hands as well. "So you believe these are those blades?" Taro had tucked himself closer to Yoshitsune.

Chidori shrugged, "They could be. Or modeled after them. But they fit the story. But like i said it was just a story i heard a long time ago when i went on the search for Zabuza's blade. I know someone who would know though"

Yoshitsune's eyes lit up. "Where are they? Can you take me to them?" He asked quickly

"He is up in the moutain overlooking Kumo, Hes a legendary swordsmen and swords maker. They called him red blade in the first shinobi war, Because his swords were stained red with his enemy's blood. And he's my grandfather" Chidori start walking away. "Come on, I'll take you and the mutt to him"

Yoshitsune looked hurt. Taro let out a low growl. "You speak of me that way again and i will rip your throat out with my fangs!" The voice came from the wolf's mouth.

Chidori turned to smile "Wolf meat is good, If you rip my throat out you'r master will never find out what he wants...Pup" Chidori started running only hoping the pair could keep up

Yoshitsune and Taro pursued. Taro looked at Yoshi during the run and they shared a silent agreement. Taro would hold out on the mans rudeness and Yoshi would continue to learn more about the swords.

Chidori ran to the mountain not thinking or caring if anyone was following still, Once he got to a hidden village chidori turned "Be silent unless directly spoken to"

Yoshitsune merely smiled and continued to follow the man.

Chidori walked throught tho the village center. Without knocking he opened the door and bowed to the elderly man, It was clean he was a Shinobi, Even if a very old one. Chidori sat on his knees "This Ninja would like to know more about his blades."

The old man merely smiled and motioned for the blade to be sat infront of him"

Yoshitsune placed his blades in front of the old man and sat down in front of him. He wanted to hear what he had to say

the old man laughed softly. "i made these blades 80 years ago. they are forged from a special metal. they react no doubt, when you try tp use your wind chakra through them?" picking up on of the blades invhis frail hand the old man made the red one glow hot as embers before cutting the air sending flames shooting from the blade

Yoshitsune sat in silence and watched the display. He was mystified by the fires that shot forth from one of his own swords. He opened his mouth to speak. "The other sword reacts more to my wind chakra, but otherwise yes they both do.

Laughing the old man looked at the boy for the first time. "You are a skilled swordsmen, you deserve these blades. You will yet learn there true power." Chidori's grandfather looked at Chidori's larger blade. "You young man must clean your blade. Even if blood does sharpen it. Specs of blood on the handle?! Your father would not approve"

Chidori bowed his head "Sorry grandfather." Looking at yoshi Chidori cocked his head. "Is that all you wanted?"

Yoshi smiled and nodded. "Unless you had something else in mind." Yoshi added.

"Well i was just wondering what you were going to do now? I mean you know the origins of your swords.. What now?" Chidori leaned back against the wall before bbowing to his grandfather shutting the door behind them as they walked out

Yoshitsune thought for a moment. "I dont really know." He said honestly. "I guess ill just have to figure this out." He spun his swords and put the ends together where the jewels were. The swords formed a twin bladed staff.

"You could always come to Kirigakure with me. I want to get Zabuza's sword still." Chidori leaned against the tree and lit a cigarette. Smiling Chidori pulled his sword out and grabbed a cloth rubbing some of the blood off the hilt of his sword waiting for an answer

Yoshitsune smiled. he had always wanted to go to Kiri. And in the mean time he can unlock the power oof his swords. He looked at Taro and they held eachothers gaze. A silent conversation passing between them. "Yes. We will go with you." Yoshitsune said aloud

"Awesome get ready then, We leave as soon as your ready. Go pack some dog food for your mutt." Chidori laughed softly and sat on the ground waiting for the pair to be ready.


(So Zabuza was sealed in the sword and suigestsu is dead. If i lose both my swords in a fight in the post is it possible to have Zabuza's executioner's blade?)
