Fight for the forest

Nagiko was walking through the forest at night getting ready to train because he trained at night when people were asleep and slept at day.

Kiyoshi was on his way to meet his brother. He walked through the forest, taking a shortcut as he was already late for the meeting. In a distance he heard steps and as he was curious who might be wondering the woods at this time of night, the monk approached the stranger silently.

Nagiko kept walking but a black cat with a lightning strike scar on his side belly walked out of the undergrowth and started to pad next to Nagiko.

Kiyoshi had spotted the stranger a small distance away and kept walking towards him. He was a monk, dressed in his officials, nobody in their right mind would think of attacking him. "Hello there", he greeted, curious who might be wandering about in the forest.

Nagiko turned around and yelled "what are you doing here in my forest." Nagiko yelled pulling a kunia out and getting in defense mode.

Kiyoshi frowned just slightly when he was yelled at.
"Your forest?", he asked, his voice calm and curious.
He stood a few metres from the stranger, watching him cautiously.
"I am travelling", he then replied to the other's question.
The monk took no measures to get into a fighting position.

" Well I live in this forest and protect it with my life I'm one with nature." Nagiko said.

Kyoushi nodded, it seemed like a small bow. "I don't intend to harm your forest", he promised. "I am only passing by."

" You kind of people make me so angry fine go." Nagiko said angerly.

Kiyoshi did not understand why the stranger was so angry. In order to avoid further conflict, Kiyoshi nodded politely and then calmly left to be on his way.

Nagiko decided to follow the tresspasser.

Kiyoshi was slightly bored while he kept walking, not suspecting he was being followed.

Nagiko kept following silent as an assassin.

After a while Kiyoshi felt tired and decided to sit down and rest a while. He was not going to hurt anything in this forest, so he did not worry about the strange person he had met earlier. Sitting down in the middle of a clearing, the monk began to meditate.

Nagiko pulled out a kunia and aimed to throw it at the monk.

His senses sharp, Kiyoshi noticed the blade flying towards him and jumped to his feet, dodging the kunai. During meditation, all his senses were extremely sensitive. "Who is there? Why are you attacking?", he asked, not having identified the attacker as the stranger he had met before.

"None of that here."Nagiko yelled sure that he had the strangers attention now.

"None of what?", Kiyoshi asked, his voice still calm and gentle as usually, giving away only a hint of his irritation. It was uncommonly impolite of the stranger to interrupt a monk in his rituals and meditation.

(We need to fight that's the title.)
Nagiko yelled "maditating." Nagiko yelled coming out of the forests darkness the moon still high in the sky.

(lol but Kiyoshi has no reason to fight... you could've named the story "mechanical dragons throw nuclear bombs at Konoha" - and still it would not happen, because it would make no sense. And it makes just as much sense for Kiyoshi to fight you now.)


Kiyoshi frowned. "Why?", he asked calmly. "It's not hurting anything or anyone", he added and shrugged.

"Because if I decide to attack you you're senses will be hightened like what just happened." Nagiko said and sat down to watch the person to make sure the guy didn't do that again.

Kiyoshi frowned. "Why would you want to attack me? I have done nothing to harm you. I am a monk, good Sir, and I have certain rituals to perform", he explained, hoping the other would understand that Kiyoshi was no threat to him.

" Fine but I'm watching if you dare destroy anything I'll have to hurt you." Nagiko yelled and went back into the darkness.

Chiba was not carefully running through the forest nor was he racing. He was going at a fair cross country pace. Being separated from his team, he was alone and he was going to meet up with them at the designated point. to do that meant going through this forest. Chiba was lucky that he was paying attention to his surrounding as he barely dodged a kunai mid stride. Stopping, he placed one hand on the hilt of his sword and the other on the scabbard.

“who’s there” He shouted, is someone wanted a fight. they’d got it.

" This is my forest are you from the Grass village." Nagiko yelled coming out of the darkness.
