All for Yu [M]

He had been freed from his prison for a few months now life was getting back to normal. Shin let out a tired sigh today was his sisters birthday, finally someone would take the attention off of him. The clan would all come together to celebrate Tama's birth they would celebrate life while he and his father remembered Death. His mother Lady Ai died giving birth to his sister, her birthday was always a depressing time for him and his father though they didn't show it. He ran a hand through his snow white hair, he crossed off another gift idea. Shin had no idea what he would get Tama, What did girls like anyway ?

Tama tilted her head and stared into the window of the shop in front of her. The little puppy in the pen barked and panted and wagged its tail happily as it looked up at her. It was so cute, so happy, so cheerful, she couldn't help but giggle and smile watching it. Too bad it was alone. The whole pen was empty except for her, a toy and some other bare necessities. That fact kind of dampened her joy. "Where's your brother, little buddy?" she asked softly, touching her finger to the cold glass. "Are you all alone too? Do you miss your mama?"

Shin set his pen down and crumpled the piece of paper, flowers and chocolates it was. He shrugged on his forest green over shirt and walked out of his room. He pulled his mask up to cover his face as he walked out of the compound and into the crowded streets of Yugakure. The locals bowed and greeted him as he passed while tourist looked at them confused, they did not know he was heir to the largest clan from Yugakure. Shin liked the fact that the tourists did not know his status, he had always preferred the shadows yet fate decreed that he live in the spot light. He entered a flower shop and looked around, which flowers did Tama like again?
He sighed and got some white lilies to place at his mothers grave but he still stood amongst the flowers searching for something for Tama.

"Bye bye little one, I'll visit you again tomorrow, okay?" Tama smiled at the little doggie, but she was wearing a Henge, so he wouldn't recognize her as her the next day. Oh well. She straightened and then went on her way, thankful for the veil the jutsu gave her from the locals. She knew many hated her. Hated her for taking Ai away. Her father hated her, her brothers, her relatives, the locals. Ai was such a kind spirit - taking her away was the worst she could have done to the village and her family. She sighed and went into the flower shop, ready to buy some orchids for her mother's grave. Looking around, she noticed another person there buying lilies. Feeling pity for herself and being in a somewhat social mood, she tried to strike up some conversation. "You look a bit lost. Buying something special for someone?" she asked, totally ignoring the suspicious mask.

Shin heard footsteps in the store perhaps he would get some assistance. When she spoke it caught him off guard, Tama was here and wearing a disguise why hadn't he thought of that. He glanced at her and sighed "Yeah you could say that"
Shin half smiled under his mask and wondered if she knew it was him. "You wouldn't happen to know what kind of flowers one gets his little sister for their birthday would you?" he asked locking eyes with her. 'come on sister throw me a bone here' he thought rubbing the back of his neck.

"Mmmmmmm..." Tama rubbed her chin, looking around the shop curiously. This stranger needed help - and she was here to give it to him, of course! Personally, her favourite flower was the orange lily. So passionate, so vibrant, filled with so much vitality. She looked at it down the isle longingly. Many dismissed it for its bright color, one that could blind the weary, but she loved it. It gave her energy. But then again, she was here to help this stranger find a gift for his little sister, not to indulge her own wants. Tama smiled up at him, and felt a pang of familiarity - but she brushed it away. She couldn't know this man. Could she? "Well, most girls like roses, but those would be unfit to give to a little sister... why not something soft and dainty, like a pink daisy?"

Shin Scoffed at that, tama was not dainty. She had yet to recognize him, he was not sure to pity his sister for not recognizing him or to praise himself for his disguise. 
He removed the mask since it was just the two of them in the shop aside from the snoozing shopkeeper. Shin looked at the disguised Tama and rubbed his chin mauling her suggestion over. He glanced at her and and raised an eyebrow "you sure I should get my sister pink Daisies?" he asked rubbing his chin again. He scratched the back of his neck deciding to play along with her and not know who she was " Tama-chan and pink daisies .... Nah that doesn't look right in my head " he said chuckling lightly. Shin handed her some Ryo "you're a girl around her age tell me what flowers you would like" he said with a half grin. 

"AH!" Tama almost jumped when he removed that familiar mask. No wonder! It was Onii-san! She bit her lip and tried not to scream and hit him and pout, as she would have. But she didn't, not this time, because she was supposed to be under a disguise. He probably didn't know it was her, though. Right? So far, no one had bowed to her or fake a smile or anything. So instead she just bowed and smiled (sincerely) to him. "Ahh, flowers for um... Tama-sama." LOL? She resisted a giggle, she had always resented that calling. She liked being Tama-chan, but only a few people bothered calling her that. She bit her lip and then glanced at the lilies. Well, they were for her. And he did want her happy. So she skipped off happily and bought a nice little bouquet of clipped orange lilies, handing it to him. "Orange lilies, she loves orange lilies," she repeated. She knew he didn't remember much of her likes and dislikes, so she had to hammer that fact into his skull if she wanted him to remember.

Shin smiled as she approached him with orange lilies, he looked at her with the flowers and remembered something from when they were kids. "Care to escort me to mothers grave Tama - chan ? " he asked nonchalantly reaching into his coat pocket to produce a box of assorted chocolates. He still had the trip to the grave and the walk was lonely, father had gone at midnight and their brother had left for a long term mission three days ago, shin would appreciate her company. 

Tama grinned as he smiled, accepting the lilies from her. Good! Now with a good deed on her heart, she could go and buy some for herself and then some orchids for mother and - She blushed, looking down, when he called her Tama. Ahh...he saw through it, huh? She mumbled something incoherent and released the Gen, once more returning to her white-haired black-yukata-dressed self. She nodded, still pink in the face, and bought the flowers she came for. "Did father go at midnight again?" she asked him as they walked out the store. Now with two prominent figures in near vicinity, many stopped and stared. Tama might not be the heir like her brother, but she was still known as being the last of Kinkai's and Ai's children.

Shin nodded, every year since Tamas birth kinkai had stood vigil over Ai's grave from midnight to six in the morning. Shin thought it was a tad nuts of the clan head but his parents had been so close to each other and the saying was love made people do crazy things. " you know father every year like clock work it's mothers grave at midnight till six then a nap till noon then he get up showers and throws you a party" Shin said putting his arm around Tama as they walked through the streets. Once they approached the family cemetery Shin dropped his arm to his side once more. He opened the gates and stepped across the threshold, his mind was plotting out the path to Ai's headstone. 

"...." Tama looked at her feet while she walked. She knew Shin would make sure she didn't bump into any poles. When she felt his arm around her, she snuggled into it gratefully. He, she was sure, didn't hate her. Heck, she had a small hope that her big brother loved her. Because she was sure that her father didn't. As she grew up, Tama was always blamed as the girl who had killed Ai, even though she was barely an infant. She grew up feeling hated, being branded as a bad person. It hurt, so very much. She didn't want to kill her mother. And hearing so much about her, she would have done anything to take her place in death instead. But alas, she couldn't. By the time she finished her rant, brother had already dropped his arm. Tama shook her head and smiled, though it was a little weak. She walked the beaten path down to their mother's grave. "Ah! They were already here." There were baskets upon baskets and wreaths and bouquets of flowers all around the grave, tributes from the locals to Ai's death on that day years ago. "They're wilting, though.."

Shin let out a low whistle there were so many flowers left at his mothers grave. He smiled and made some room around the dozen roses his father had left sometime that morning, he lay the white lilies to the right of the vase of roses. Shin glanced at Tama and cleared another spot left of the roses so she could leave her flowers. Shin sighed " most cut flowers don't last long " he replied to her observation, he smiled at Tama and ruffled her hair. 
"you're almost as old as me Tama-chan" he said playfully giving her a kiss in the forehead. He looked at the headstone and smiled broadly "yeah Okaa-San you'd be proud of what a fine woman Tama-chan is becoming"

Tama knelt, and made sure to carefully place the white orchids in the shade of the tombstone so that it would fare better in the next few hours. After saying a little prayer for the mother she never she knew, she got up and stood next to her brother, gazing on the surroundings with sad eyes. She wished she could meet her mother. "I'm not old," she huffed, but her puffy cheeks deflated when she laughed as he kissed her on the forehead. Tama snuggled against him affectionately before pulling away and crossing her arms over her chest. "A fine woman, huh? I don't feel any different from before." She laughed and shook her head, her little pigtails bouncing. "But I suppose my feelings have matured a little, right?"

Shin chuckled she forgot that he had missed the last three birthdays, trapped in a scroll by her psycho admirer Shi. "ah Tama - chan you have grown since the last time I was at one of your birthday parties" he said putting his hand to her cheek. He wanted for some reason to stroke it and then kiss her on the lips, he shook off the feeling and pinched her cheek affectionately instead. He turned to the Headstone and smiled, he said his goodbyes and turned back to Tama. "so cute" he said pinching her again before heading away from the grave.  

"Of course I have, the last one you came to was 4 years ago." She giggled when he put his hand on her cheek, and she rubbed against his palm tenderly. Tama was going to lean in and hug him for it, but he pinched her poor cheek, making her go 'NUUU' and back off, anime tears in her big, chibi eyes. She rubbed her cheek, though there was no mark, pouting. Such a mean Nii-san. "Nyaaa!" The second time he pinched her though, she giggled and shook her head. Tama bowed to her mother's grave quickly before running off after Shin, following him out the gates. "Do you suppose I could skip my birthday party? I mean... people come to it because they have to, but...I don't know if I can handle the pressure..."

He shook his head, Tama always saw the negative things. Why didn't she see the good? Kinkai loved throwing his only daughter a party and shin had enjoyed the food. "Tama you can't skip out on the cake, plus people will be focusing mostly on me that'll take some of the edge off you, eat open presents and then retire for the night" he said wrapping his arm around his little sister. A few minutes shaking hands and thanking people for coming to the party, it was a cake walk compared to what shin faced everyday since he got back to the land of the living. 

"Well... I suppose. I'm happy you can come again, big brother." Tama smiled and walked closer to him so that she was practically snuggling against him under the hold of his arm. She liked being held close, even just a little. To remind herself that her brother was still here, that he won't vanish once more like he had before, that she won't have to live with a dead love for any longer. She purred and rubbed her head against his shoulder a little. Cake sounded nice. But cake and Shin sounded much better. "For a present, I want a picnic with my big brother in the future," she stated bluntly. "And I want it somewhere quiet and isolate so that no one can interrupt us and so that we can talk and just be anyone we want in front of each other. Can I have that, brother?" Tama looked up at him hopefully. 3 years was a very long time to a girl who was just hitting 15.

Shin blinked and scratched the back of his head, he supposed he had three or four years to make up for. He looked at Tama quizzically before nodding his head, it was the least he could do for her. " fine we can have a picnic somewhere Tama-chan" he replied giving her a peck on the cheek. He grinned "race you home" he said quickly before dashing off in the direction of the clan compound. He would need to shower before the party and a change of attire would probably be warranted. 

Tama cooed happily when he gave her a peck, but then blinked in surprise when he disappeared from her side, leaving her cold again. By now he was sprinting away. She pouted and huffed, waving her fist at his shrinking form. "BROTHER!" She growled playfully and tied her obi tighter, the butterfly knot flaring out even more now. Tama then bolted in his direction, making sure to stay in the path that he had made for himself, following him closely, and slowly but surely catching up to him almost two thirds of the way home. "You cheater, you had a headstart!" She stuck her tongue out at him playfully before pushing herself forward even more. From this speed, she somehow managed to overtake him, her skirt flapping about wildly. And revealing to him her red, polka-dotted birthday panties.

The white haired boy snickered as he left Tama in the dust, he was ninja they didn't play fair. He nearly stumbled off a roof top when she over took him, the panties really caught him off guard. He purposely stayed behind her the whole way home just so he could keep seeing them, Tama certainly had a nice looking set of buns on her. He shook the thought of nibbling on her backside from his mind, they were related for kamis sake, though it wasn't unheard of for a clan like his to inbred once every ten or so generations. Once they reached the gates and stopped shin let her make a little victory speech then he dropped his bomb on her. "nice polka-dotted panties Tama chan" he whispered in her ear before walking slowly down the path to the main house. 

Tama was wiped out when she finally reached the gates of the family compound, but on her sweaty, pink face was a wide, smug grin. "Hah!" she breathed, still having the wind knocked out of her lungs from the run. "I beat you, even though you had a headstart! What do you think of me now, br- HUH." She had stuck her tongue out at him teasingly once more, but then she blinked in surprise when she heard his little whisper. Polka. Dotted. Panties. Her face turned the shade of said polka dots, her skin burning from the embarrassment. Her skirt must have flown up when she was running and he...he must have... oh God. She groaned and walked around in circles, chibi-crying to herself and clutching her rump. After a few minutes, she caught up to Shin and tugged on his hand embarrassingly as they walked slowly to the house. "....how much did you see?" she mumbled.

She had caught up with him half way to the main house, he smirked when she tugged at his hand. He thought about how he should respond to her question, shin wanted to maximize the blush creeping up on her face. " Well Tama -Chan lets just say it was a splendid eclipse " he ruffled her hair affectionately and walked up the stone steps to the doors of the main house. He reached for the door and looked at her " you should consider pants if you don't want people seeing your underwear " he said opening the door for her. "ladies first" he said ushering her into the house, he needed to think of where this picnic could take place. 

"Ah..." Tama, as expected, turned even redder when he commented on her undies so casually. It was not a simple issue, dammit! She whimpered and scampered off into the house when he opened the door for her like a gentleman, and she held the back of her skirt down with both hands just in case the wind blew it up or something. Once inside, she sighed with relief. Maybe she should start wearing booty shorts under her yukata-dress. They would squeeze her ass into oblivion, but that was better than flashing her polka dots at her big brother. Tama ran up the stairs and headed straight to her room. Maybe a nice, hot bath would calm her down. "Brother, are you going to use the big bathroom?" she called out to him, would he use the family bath?

He had been in his room all of five minutes before he heard Tama ask if he was going to use the family bath. Shin scratched the back of his head and sighed, why did she want to know where he was bathing? He slipped into his black and red bath robe and walked to her bed room. Shin leaned against the wall and knocked twice before speaking her name.  His white hair really could do with a woman's touch, perhaps Tama wanted to bathe together. "So what if I am " shin said from outside her door.
