Home to sister

Akemi was glad that he would be able to see his sister again. He had missed her though he had only been out for about two hours.

Naka had not followed Akemi home to see his sister...She had followed him home to sate her curiosity. There was a difference. She had sent Aiden home to check up on the monkey and her brother, but she knew he would track her down, so she had little time. Naka was crouching on a tree branch, holding on with her nails.

When Akemi got home a little girl, very short with long light brown hair, went running over to him. Akemi bent over and hugged his sister and gave her a kiss on each cheek. "Did you miss me?" He smiled.
"Mhm! Mhm!" His sister hugged Akemi tightly.

Naka smiled weakly as she saw Akemi hug a girl, a very young one, who hugged him back. She rested her head on the branch, watching the two. It reminded her of the old days. Very suddenly, a flashback played in her head.

Naka, seven years old, opened the door to the Kuroda house, a teddy bear in her hand. The door burst open, and a horde of black-haired people came out.

"Naka-chan!"
"Na-san!"
"Onee-san!"

The people all hugged her, and she giggled under all the weight. They were her sisters, and brothers, all come out to play. She could tell the difference between them all, even without looking. Naka hugged as many as possible, smiling against their bodies. She loved them all very much, all twenty of them...

Naka's hand slipped, and she fell onto the ground with a sickening thud.

Akemi looked back and saw who it was. "What're you doing here?" He said defensively. Was she here for his sister?

'Holy...' Naka was on her knees, and froze when Akemi spoke. Chibi tears of defeat streamed down her face, and she drooped her head as she surrendered mentally. She got up, brushing dust off her clothes. There was a huge scratch on her face and left arm, but it didn't matter. Naka smiled at the other two, a bit nervously. "Sorry for intruding...I was just curious..." She looked at the younger girl, so innocent, so cute. It reminded her of her baby sister. A small flash of pain crossed her face, but she replaced it with another smile.

Akemi sighed and went over to the girl. He helped her up. "Come on...I'll get you cleaned up then you can go home."

Naka smiled, kind of fakely, and accepted his help. She kept stealing glances at his sister, feeling a stab everytime she looked at her. "Okay."

Akemi helped Naka into his house and went to get a nice damp cloth.
His sister was in the room with Naka. "Hi!" She smiled.

"Hello!" Naka grinned, ignoring the cut on her cheek. The girl was so adorable, so irresistable. "I'm Naka, what's your name?" She smiled gently at her, hoping not to frighten her away.

"Katsumi!" She smiled widely. "Nice to meet you." She did a little bow.

"Ah, what a nice name. I had a little sister whose name was Matsumi." Naka watched her bow, bending her little back. She smiled, wiping off the blood from her cut. "You're so polite, Katsumi-chan. Did your brother teach you that?"

"Mhm!" She smiled cutely. "Akemi teaches me everything! He's like a mommy!" She giggled.

"Aw, that's so sweet. You have such a nice big brother." Naka almost went into Cute-alert mode when Katsumi giggled. After living four years without meeting a little girl, the sound was music to her ears. The memories of her sisters were still in her brain, but she wished she could re-live them in real life. "Treat every moment with him like it was your last, okay? Spend as much time with him as possible..."

" I do!" She smiled.
Akemi then walked into the room. "What're you telling my sister?" He asked as he walked over with a bucket of warm water and a cloth.

"Nothing. We were just chatting, right, Katsumi-chan?" Naka smiled again, and scratched her head, laughing softly.

"Right!" Katsumi cheerfully agreed.
"Hmm." Akemi then dipped the cloth in the water and started to wash off the blood that was on Naka's face.
"Can Naka stay for a while????" Katsumi asked her brother.

Naka winced a bit, feeling the texture of the wet cloth against her open skin. Then she heard Katsumi ask her brother if she could stay, and she smiled. Naka got onto her knees, clutching her hands in a pleading way. Her eyes were big and sparkly, like a little boy's at a comic store. "Please, please, please?" She wanted to spend more time with Katsumi, the little angel. She wrapped her arms around Akemi's legs, hugging them tight.

Akemi thought for a moment. Well..she's already here and know's my sister. "Fine. Just for a while."
"Yay!" Katsumi cheered.

"Yay!" Naka let go of his legs and hugged Katsumi instead. Her little body was as how she remembered her sister's. "Yay, thanks, Akemi-san!"

Then there was a sharp knock on the door.

Akemi looked at Naka. "If that's your friend I don't want him near my sister." He didn't trust the man at all.

"Ah, okay. I'll make sure he keeps his distance." She gave him a toothy grin and a confident thumbs-up.

Akemi half glared at the girl and got up and answered the door.

"Yo." It wasn't Aiden. Instead, it was a smaller, non-evil version of him. He walked into the house, going straight to Naka, his face stoic. "Onee-san, don't ever leave me with that baka again."

"Goru! You shouldn't be out alone!" Naka inspected the boy Goru, searching, yet not finding, any injuries. "And what happened to Danna!?"

"I...locked him in your room..."

"EH??? Oh, boy..."

Akemi raised an eyebrow at them. "And he is?"
Katsumi ran over. "Hi!" She smiled widely.
