| That was one thing that was curious about the Moon Clan and their assimilation process. Everyone had their own personal experiences when their mind was incorporated within the Lunar Collective. From seeing shapes, shadows or actual people. A bright light or perhaps even the complete opposite, being an abyss of utter darkness. But few things would always remain the same, however. Voices as well as the feeling of being pulled toward something greater would always remain... as well as the sight of an actual moon, representing their Goddess shining over them all.
Sharing her thoughts, Charon and Lulu would be able to see what Yuki was currently hallucinating. Taking part in her dream, Charon would remain behind, standing proud, as usual, hands resting on his sword, nodding and smirking at the tea seller, motioning her to go forth. Lulu would then come next to her, her muzzle rubbing itself against her neck. The moment the mare did so, all of the lunar creature's memories would become hers. How their Goddess created her, all her adventures with Charon, all her life experiences, battles, hardships and good times. Yuki's memories would also surge into Lulu as well, her family, her home town, her young souvenirs as well as her growing up to eventually become what she was today. Charon would also reach a hand, touching Lulu, acting as a chain of knowledge, all three of them becoming in sync, no place for judgmental feelings, only understanding. Their mind was hers, her mind was theirs.
Giggling, Lulu would stretch a wing, putting it behind their new sister, motioning her to follow her as she moved forth into the dark, seemingly infinite room illuminated by the silver moon. Shadowy and sparkling figures would move toward them stretching their arms toward the new comer as she walked pass them, touching her, the feeling similar to a cool liquid, doing so would share multiple life experiences like Charon and Lulu did moments ago with Yuki. Their memories would flow gently into the tea seller's mind and vise-versa.
-Doesn't it feel great, Yuki? You are becoming part of us... soon you shall make one with the collective...
The duo would move forth, and as they did, the population seemed to grow denser... surrounding them as they would all reach to touch the new comer, all of them sharing their memories and thoughts with Yuki. Yet, the fact they were ghastly figures made it easy for them so simply walk through them, negating any feelings of being overwhelmed by a crowd.
-Just let yourself go...
Lulu would whisper to her as they kept moving forth. At this point Yuki would start to lose her sense of individuality, feeling in connection with everything and everyone, eventually losing grasp of what memories were once hers and those who weren't, connecting with the hivemind, joining the harmonious waves of thoughts, becoming part of it. The Moon Clan was now her new reason to live, to contribute to the collective in every way possible, their moon Goddess looking over them all.
Lulu and Yuki would then leap down what seemed to be a large hole filled with Lunar chakra, the both of them melting away into it as Yuki had finally completed her assimilation process. | |

| When Lulu rubbed against Yuki’s neck, she was no longer in the darkly lite room. What may have seemed to the others as just a few seconds, what Yuki was experiencing felt like a lifetime, literally. It felt like she was Lulu’s body, experiencing ever single memory that she had. It was almost like, no, she was indeed Lulu. Every decision, every step she took, it was hers. She could remember the hardships that she had with Charon, whenever she was injured Charon was there for her, and vise-versa.
This all continued till present day, when the plan to use Yuki to add members to the joyous collective. This was when she returned back into the room but only for a brief second for when Charon was added to the chain of knowledge. Now Yuki experienced Charon’s memories, from birth to present, the hardships and the joys of being in the collective.
Who was she? Was she Yuki, Charion, or Lulu? Before she could answer that question she walked with Lulu, walking as if she were in a daze. Soon the process began to repeat. Yuki was experiencing so many live from the fallen ninja, to the simple school child. She experienced them all.
When Lulu asked Yuki to “Lose herself”, Yuki felt like she already had. She didn’t even noticed as her own body began to melt. All she could think about was, “Who…Who am I?” Unknown to her this thought was said out loud for Lulu and all to hear. Yuki was so susceptible to suggestion at this point, that the first answer she got she was likely to believe. Her body felt so warm and comforting, was this even her body anymore?

| Unlike, Yuki, Lulu had done this several times before, obviously. The two vessels known as Lulu and Charon were the two main converters of the Moon Village. All these touches and connections they had walked through were just all to familiar to the hivemind... but for Yuki, it was a whole other story. Already they could feel her growing detached from her narrow individuality, becoming part of them. Her mind would fuze with all of theirs that constituated the hivemind. Soon Yuki would become nothing more but knowledge and life experience shared by all. Her body nothing more than an extension of the Lunar Collective she now not only part of, but literally was.
Floating in the immense chakra pool that constituted the hivemind itself, the Moon mare would only look at Yuki with a look of pure bliss and inner peace, smiling softly at her as he hoof would reach to stroke her hair.
-Let go of yourself. Yuki is no more... only us. We are you... you are us. We are the Lunar Collective.
She'd coo, their body sinking deeper into the dark, flowing chakra, the cool liquid eventually engulfing their forms as their bodies would begin to fade, melting away. Only their heads would be left to be seen as they too would eventually sink under with a sigh of relief, their body stroked and melted away by the currents, becoming indistinguishable from the rest of the pool.
----------
Both the knight and mare would eventually open their eyes, the assimilation process now fully complete, Yuki would no longer have any doubts about the Lunar duo... since now she was technically them as well. All was clear, their goal, their mission. Her objectives as a tea saleswomen and their as guardians and converters of the Moon Village. Smiling, Lulu would land a hoof for Yuki to grab, helping her to get back on her feet. Now there was no need for words, the flowing information and thoughts of the collective was all that remained. | |

| “We?” Yuki would say to herself as if she was trying to figure out what the word meant. After a few seconds she then spoke again. “yes…I see…I’m you and you are me. We are one.” At this moment Yuki let herself go, sinking all the way into the glowing pool with Lulu. That when she woke up again into the room with the fireplace roaring, and the snow storm outside. She looked over to Charron and Lulu to see that the same glow from before was still around them. A voice then came to her head. “That is the Lunar Chakra you see. You have it too. Look.” It spoke as if it knew what she was going to ask before Yuki could even ask. Yuki lifted her hand up and sure enough the glow was there. “We can see…” Yuki would then say, but not out loud. She wanted to speak the word “I” but something inside her quickly shunned the thought and locked it deep inside her. She was a “we” now. Their minds quickly went to the tea. Yuki looked at the tea and saw it glowing just like them. The plan to secretly purify the world with the chakra from their goddess was repeated to Yuki. “We want to start working right away!” She would explain as she stood back up with the help of Lulu, a bright smile like from the first time they met would appear back on her face. Then suddenly Yuki would fall back down again into Lulu’s arms. Though her body and mind had finally accepted the chakra, the battle it waged against it left her drained. “Why…why do we feel so weak?” Yuki would then speak (sorry if it's a crappy first post of being in the collective ) | |

| ((It was perfect, don't worry about it! ^^ Now I guess the only thing you have to keep in mind (and probably the trickiest part) is the fact that if Yuki is clueless about something... it means that the hivemind as a whole doesn't know a thing about it either. It takes some time getting used to it... but you should grasp the concept soon enough. And no this wasn't a critique, it was a tip for future use! XD))
Seeing Yuki standing up, her eyes lit with the holy green glow was a glorious sight indeed. Each member joining their collective was a reason to rejoice and celebrate, a sign that their community was growing like intended, that one more person on this planet was freed from his burdens and shown the way toward peace and prosperity.
Though, as she stood up, that's only now that the pangs of tiredness let themselves feel. Lulu's eye would widen as she caught Yuki before she'd had a chance to crumble down, her legs shaking like leaves and not able to bear her own weight... why did she feel so tired indeed? Usually conversion does drain people from some of their energy but not that much. Yuki's memories still new to the collective, it's only now that all three of them would understand how hungry she was. Her time as a teas saleswomen didn't seem to allow her to nourish herself properly.
Resting Yuki back on the wooden seat, Charon would take a quick look outside and see that the blizzard had calmed down a bit. They would go to the nearest Inn, grab something to eat as well as get some rest there before they would get going with their plans.
Charon would reach for his fluffy black coat, giving it to Yuki for her to put on, the sleeves and overall length obviously over-sized for her but it was all just for the sake of keeping her warm. Charon could endure the cold easily enough until they would get there. Going outside, the Knight would then grab hold of the tea Saleswomen and put her on Lulu's back, followed by all of their belongings they had left inside. Once ready, the group would then trot toward town, heading for some well earned lunch and rest, as they would share thoughts and mental conversations between thousand, a peaceful smile present on all three of them, brother and sisters.
As they went on, a certain memory would resurface... those of Yuki's parents, rice farmers. Perhaps they would pay them a visit next? | |

| Yuki’s body felt much warming battling the still harsh cold of the outside with Charon’s back. “Thank you” Yuki would say. It felt like she was only thanking herself but at least she was being polite. Lulu’s glowing back was nice and soft as they rode over to the nearest inn.
Then the memories of Yuki’s past would resurface though the collective. The rice fields were a lovely looking place, the sun shining, birds singing in the distance but most of the pleasantries ended there. Family fights were almost common in house Yuki was in, not to mention the tedious work required to tend to the fields. There was especially the memory of the last arguments she had with her parents before eventually running away.
Her new thoughts about it were simple. All of them, her entire family, should and will become a part of what he had become, one way or another. There was however certain tugging that Yuki was probably not the best one to send for their conversion. The reason being because of those final arguments she had, even leading to violence at times. No, if anyone, Lulu and Charon would be better of converting the family on their own, aided only my Yuki’s memories and not her voice and action. She had her own purpose after all, to deliver the tea.
After a while of traveling the inn began to appear through the whiteness the falling snow had been creating. It was a humble one at that, not too flashy or bold. It was a perfect place for not drawing to much attention. It was going to be a much better place to rest and restock then the cramped apartment that Yuki had rented for her operations in the Snow Village. Being still unable to move really, Yuki waited for Lulu and Charon to open the door and get themselves situated inside the inn.

| The walk to the inn would be short and rather calm, the harsh wind had finally decided to settle itself into a gentle breeze. The snow had kept going, however, giving place to a magnificent scenery; snowflake falling abundantly without having their skin slapped by the intense cold. Their foot and hoofsteps would crunch against the crisp, freshly fallen snow, their breath visible as Yuki and Lulu's coats and mane would flutter gently in the wind, the ethereal, Lunar Chakra panache wrapping itself around their new member, adding an additional layer to protect her from the wind as it stroke her gently.
Walking through the town, only a few people would bother to give the trio a few odd looks, Lulu being quite the unusual sight, as always. Something the Collective had grown quite used to. The hivemind couldn't care less to be honest; everyone would be together one day, such things as prejudice, misunderstandings and conflicts would be things from the past. Only understanding and peace. They would live in prosperity until the ends of times. Yuki was yet an other perfect example that their solution was the cure; no more this simple individual known as Yuki would have to face the harsh world alone. No more would she ever feel lonely or lost... they were Lunar Collective. Together.
Arriving in front of the inn, called "The Ram and Sheep" Lulu would wrap her ethereal mane under Yuki's arms and lower her gently next to Charon, who'd help her stand up if she ever were to have an other case of sudden weakness. They could easily feel her week muscles but knew she'd have just about enough to move herself around with relative ease.
Now, knowing the inn wold most likely not allow "animals" such as Lulu, the mare would simply spread flap her wings and fly up to a window, check if it were unoccupied, levitate the window open and the bags inside, along with the tea equipment and all the rest. She would then transform herself into a thick mist of Lunar Chakra, fitting far more easily through the window as she'd re-materialize inside. The collective analyzed the room itself and deemed it more than suiting enough. Two double beds, shower, bath and small kitchen; all they needed and beyond for a simple place to gain some rest. Looking at the number on the door, the hivemind knew which room to book.
The knight and tea seller would then walk in, Charon heading for the head desk where the owner was standing. The man was sitting on his stool in a half-conscious state but snapped back reality when he was now sitting in the giant knight's shadow, rearing back a bit when an ominous pair of green looked at it from through a metal visor. Charon would then lift it up, shaking off the snow from over by the same occasion.
-We would like to take the room twenty four, if you please... and have lunch sent to us.
The man would shake himself out of his stupor and simply nod in agreement, taking the money the armored man would give him.
-The menus are in the room, we'll send someone over shortly to take your orders.
The knight would nod as both of them would climb up to their room, upon entering, Charon would begin remove his plated armor, chainmail and leather padding, putting it next to his own bed and keeping only his black pants and sweater. As For Lulu, she would already be resting on her own bed, watching the antenna television. Her gaze would meet Yuki's as she smiled warmly, motioning her to take place next to her. | |

| As they walked it was quite a shame that the people frowned upon them especially Lulu. The desire to remove the prejudice of the world was defiantly reaching Yuki’s mind. How better it would be if everyone could listen to one another’s thought though the medium that was the Collective. That day would come, eventually, but for now the priority for them was to get rested.
Yuki stood there in silence as Charon did all the talking and reasoning with the inn keeper. After all, in the collective it felt like she was doing it also. Walking was better for her now that she got the nice extra boost of chakra from Lulu. However when it came to the stairs, Yuki was leaning heavily on Charion and the rails. Why did their room have to be in the upstairs? Oh well, no reason to argue now, the decision was made and they were going to go through with it.
Once again Yuki let Charon open the door up for her. To no great surprise since they shared minds and all, Lulu was in the room watching the television. By this time the boost was fading but that was alright since the bed was right nearby. Yuki flapped herself down on the bed and made herself as comfortable as possible. She closed her eyes and already was drifting off to sleep.
Even though her body was now resting her mind was still pretty active. She could see and feel, well everything. Yuki’s eyes may have been closed at this point but she was still able to see what was on the television since Lulu was looking at it. It was currently on a news broadcast telling the weather was going to stay about the same all weak at the Hidden Snow Village. Maybe that’s how it got its name? Yuki’s own preference was to anime herself but she wouldn’t mind seeing whatever Lulu was planning to watch.
She also felt Charon take off his armor which felt like such a relief. If only it could be lighter yet carry the same defensive value. Yuki’s mind also wandered over to the Moon Village were even more people were doing tasks, mostly cooking dinner since it was that time of the day again. All sorts of various meals were being made from steak and potatoes to just a simple salad. There were no hard feelings or resentment about any meals each individual member preferred, only understanding.
(sorry if I mess something up with how the collective works)

| The rest of the evening would go smoothly, all three of them now part of the collective made things rather silent however, but the need for speech was rendered near obsolete. Shifting slightly to the left in order to Yuki to have enough room on the bed, the both of them would watch television... personal tastes buried deep away for the moment; the Lunar Collective was more intrigued in the weather broadcast. Soon enough, the incoming information of the television and monotonous voice would have reason of Yuki as she'd flop down suddenly, falling asleep. This body required as much rest as possible.
Only Charon would need to look at the menu chart, and only briefly so before all of them would've done their choice. The Alicorn chose a salad, quite the fancy one at that too. As for the knight, sushies, all sorts of them and probably a whole bunch as well. Yuki, however, would probably settle for a hearty breakfast once she'd wake up.
-----
Their meal was a calm, satisfying and peaceful one, nothing could be heard aside the idle voice on the television and few clanking of utensils. One would think nothing was going on... but so many things happened within the collective, as always. Sharing thoughts, memories and experiences... as well as night dreams, imagination and ideas.
Once finished, the three of them would eventually lay down, moments later fall asleep. Lulu and Charon would lay dormant under their covers, rejoining with their new sister, join her in the bliss that was the Lunar Collective, indistinguishable and united.
The end~ | |
