School,Literally is Something,That Can Bring You To Hell

Ember walked down the,slick,icy steps that led to something she feared most:School.Her gloves barely trailed the railing of the stone,winding steps and she brushed off the top of the coat of snow on the railing with the tips of her fingers.Snowflakes dribbled down one by one,ever so elegantly.She held out her hand and let a snowflake land in the center of her palm.And if Ember looked real close she could see the faint disign of the snowflake.And soon it dissapeared.Her warm boots left footprints on the steep,covered-in-white-snow steps.Frozen,dead branches loomed around her.The long staircase traveled through the forest,all the way down to a clearing where the towering high-school was in veiw.Finally she reached the last step,and she wraped the scarf tightly around her neck as she walked up to a bench in front of the school and sat down on it,all alone.

"Hm hm hm..." Toshi was humming happily as she walked around the school. Aiden hadn't come to pick her up yet. She rubbed her cold hands together, and stamped her feet. Then she looked up and saw a lone figure sitting on a bench. Smiling gently, Toshi went over and sat next to the girl. "Hello!"

Ember looked over and her eyes were yellow."Oh,hello."She answered flashing her teeth in a warm smile.

"I'm Satoshi Kuroda, call me Toshi!" she said cheerfully, holding out her cold and icy hand.

Ember took it and shook it gently,her eyes turning green."You go to school here?" She asked curiously.

Toshi nodded, and brushed the snow off her brown hair. "But I'm kind of a wallflower when it comes to socializing, so it's like I'm invisible."

Ember smirked."Same here." She said with stale calmness in her voice.She was a bit like this to anyone she first meets.Stale,calm and strict...Yet she tries to be friendly..

"Hm, but it's nice to be with people, even if they don't see you. You just need to know you're not alone," she said, grinning. "You're nice! I like you. Wanna be friends?"

Ember`s smile grew."Sure!" She answered,her eye color changing to green.

"Great!" Toshi grinned and hugged Ember with a sigh of bliss. "You're so warm..."

Ember giggled."Yep." She said while nodding.

"So, why were you sitting here, all alone?" Toshi asked, brushing away some snowflakes from her clothes.

"I always sit alone." She addmited,whispering in a hush tone,then staring at the gray sky which was still producing tiny snowflakes.

"Aww. Is that, well, lonely?" Toshi asked, hugging her with one arm. "You'll get cold, too."

Ember nodded,a smirk tickling her lips."Yeah its lonley,but you get used to it after a while."She stated with a smug shrug.

"Aww." Toshi hugged her warmly again. "You might get used to it, but you should hug and have friends too, to keep your heart nice and warm!"

Ember smiled and shrugged."Sure I guess." She decided to change the topic."Isnt all this weather crazy?"

"I kinda like the snow! It brings people together!" She got up and started making a snowman.

Ember giggled and collasped in the soft snow and made a snow angle."This iis fun!"

Toshi laughed and dropped down by Ember, and made a snow angel too. "And cold!"

Ember laughed and nodded,then the bell rang."Whoops!Lets get out of here before we are late!" Ember said standing up qucikly.

"Okay!" Toshi grinned and got up, then shook off the snow from her body. She took Ember's hand in hers, and ran to class, laughing.

Ember grinned as they squirmed through the crowds of other kids."Whats your first class?" Ember hollered at Toshi over all the chattering.

(wait, is this normal school or Ninja Academy? XD )

"Gym," she called back as the crowds of students went back to their normal classes.

"Me too!" Ember grinned as they squiggled to gym class.
