Here we are.

Ryota walked into the forest, the trees standing far above him, the sound of birds flying through the leaves resting in his ears. He yawned as he walked, he had only been awake for about three hours. He didn't usually come out here, but felt like coming out here for today. He had gloves on his hands, covered by a jacket and his head was down. His hat covering the top of his head, his black hair coming out from the front of it. The wind was blowing slightly and then he heard some more rustling and looked up thinking someone was there.

Toshi had come to Kirigakure for a scouting to see if there were any good herbs there. She was wearing a simple orange raincoat over her yellow and indigo outfit. Then she saw somebody wrapped up in a cloak, and stalked him, as he looked interesting.

Ryota turned around, looking around, seeing if it was just birds that he had heard. He pushed up his hat a little bit to get a better look around him, after not seeing anyone he shrugged and said, "Looks like the birds fly closer to the ground then i thought." Then he yawned again and began to walk father into the forest.

'He looks so sleepy,' Toshi thought, and followed him some more. Then she slipped on the wet grass and fell on her face, dizzy, with a loud 'squelch'.

Ryota turned around, "What the heck?" He said quietly looking at where he heard the noise. He walked over there, seeing a girl on the ground, "Are you okay?" He asked sticking his hand out to help her up.

"Guh..." she replied. Toshi took his hand gratefully and got up. Her front was wet and grass-stained. "...meh. I'll worry about this later. Thanks for the hand, mister! I'm Satoshi Kuroda, but people call me Toshi for short." Toshi smiled and extended her hand for him to shake.

Ryota looked at her and had a smirk on his face, but he tried to hide it so not to seem mean from how she had grass on her. He took her hand and shoke it and said, "My name is Ryota Osamu, nice to meet you Toshi." After he shook her hand he asked her, "So why are you out here?"

"I'm here to scout out any potential poisons in plants. Then I followed you since you look like you know the area," she said, smiling.

"Oh," Ryota said, "Well poisonious plants is something i can't help with, i can get you in and out of the forest but that's about it." He shook the back of his head, moving his hat up and down on his head, messing up his hair and the hair that was out of his hat looked really messed up.

Toshi grinned. "That's good enough, then! How much money do you want as my guide?" she asked pulling out a fish-shaped wallet.

"Uh...." Ryota said. He was confused, he wasn't asking for money but she had already pulled out her wallet. He just deiced because he didn't want to be a pig and be alot of money or pathetic and say none, he just said "I guess ten ryo for in and out of the forest."

"Just ten? Okay." Toshi smiled, amused, and gave him ten ryo. Then she looked around. "Hm...there's a lot of water in this area..."

"Well Truely thats all i really need, some food is cheap." Ryota said with a smile, he looked around at the water, the trees had been drinking most of it, but there was still a good bit around. "Well this is the village hidden in the mist."

Toshi began thinking. "Where there's this much water, there's algae, which kills plants, which makes peat, and attracts toxic plants..." she said, smiling happily.

Ryota looked at her, "Well true, i guess you are going to be able to find those plants of yours faster then you expected, right?" He said beginning to walk towards the water, keeping his eyes staring at the ground, making sure not to step in mud/potholes.

"Nope," she said, sighing. "It's hard to differentiate one type from another. I might get a useless one." Then she got an idea and started fidgeting. "Um...Can I ask you a favor?"

Ryota looked back at her, "Well you can always get more then one plant and i would be happy to come back here." He stood there for a second and when she began to fidget and he said, "Go ahead, ask away."

"Can you help me test some of the plants? I have an antidote if it is poisonous..." she squeaked. "But you don't have to if you don't want to," she added hastily.

"I would, but because i just met you and i don't want to try to test and see if i can trust you that way." Ryota said, "I'm not trying to say you would kill me, but if i can have the antidote first ill test one."

"These are the antidotes. They are general and are strong enough to counter-act every poison I know," she said, holding out a handful of stone-like objects.

Ryota grabbed the antidotes and said, "Alright, well whatever you want me to try i guess i will." He put his hand out pointing at some plants in the water.

Toshi smiled and nodded, and started pulling out plants. She threw one at him, with the leaves still intact. "Try the leaf. If your mouth goes numb, it's poison."

Ryota looked at the leaf, he was picking at it, then put it in his mouth, tasting it. He didn't feel anything, but it may not have kicked in yet.

"Anything? How does it taste?" she asked, as she pulled up more plants.

"Like a leaf." He said, taking it out of his mouth, it didn't do anything to him, maybe he wouldn't have to use the antidote, and he hoped he didnt.
