Chance Encounter Between Ace and Seiryuu (Closed)

(This is a topic created between the time periods that Ace left Mist and before his fight with Gu in the mountains of Iwagakure.)

(I created this to 1.) RP and earn the right to have a summon and 2.) have a feasible background/history to this summon that can be spread over several posts and days.)

(Without further delay, I present my RP -please do not lock, I will PM and admin/mod when I am satisfied with it-)

Setting: Hidden Hot Springs Village
Time Period: After desertion from Mist, before chance encounter with Gu Honse

Ace walked along the road always careful to watch his back, the happening on the outskirts of Kirigakure had made him weary of his surroundings and he was never sure who to trust anymore. His blade was sheathed and always available, in the case of any emergency, of course. The metallic, silver clan emblem glinted in the sun's rays each time he passed out of a shadow and into the sun.

He bent down and rubbed it obsessively to make sure it was not tarnished with any speck of dirt or other substance. The symbol, a lizard encircled around its own tail to form a ring, was the only keepsake he had left.

Looking ahead he could see a large sign saying:

You are now leaving Water Country

Intrigued, he kept moving until he reached the top of the hill he was ascending, upon arriving at the top he let out a gasp. "The great sea..."

"I can't believe it, I'm actually leaving. I've never gone so far in my life. . ."

Ace treaded down the hill and towards the far end of the small costal town, the end where many ships floated in the shallow waters.

Upon arrival he paced back and forth. Would they figure out that I'm the escaped fugitive from Mist? Where could I go where it's safe? What will I do when I get there?

Suddenly, a heavy box was placed into his hand and he ended up walking to a fairly large vessel close to the end of the wooden dock.

"Listen my boy," A rough sailor said, "We'll be needing all the help we kin get movin' these here supplies all the way across the great sea." pausing again only to inhale from his pipe. "If ye agree, we kin get you across the ocean for free. All ye need to do it help us sail and what not."

"But how, how did you know I wanted to leave?" Ace asked in surpise.

"Ye got the look of a lost wanderer, me boy."

He merely shrugged and picked up another box, what else was he going to do? He sure as hell wasn't going to waste anymore time in this damned nation.

It had been nearly two months since Ace had left his home and taken a job aboard the "Sanbi," a vessel named after the three-tailed demon that is said to reside in and around the Great Sea.

The crisp ocean air and hard manual labor had made him a man, a boy no longer. They had made many stops along their route towards their destination that seemed to be at the other side of the world.

"Look over there," he shouted so that the entire ships crew would notice. "Land!"

Sure enough, on the horizon was an intimidating volcanic Land, it was there where the ship would dock and Ace would continue his journey. Their path led him straight into the hearts of Yugakure, The Hidden Hot Springs Village.

Once on land, he had helped the sailors unload their goods and had said goodbye to the captain of the vessel, Ryou.

"Thanks a lot, Captain. I couldn't have made it this far without you." Ace said extending his hand in a gesture of friendship.

"Ah, don't worry me boyo. Your skills were greatly 'ppreciated." The rough, scraggly bearded man responded. Taking the young ninja's hand and shaking it vigorously. "If you ever been needing anything 'gain, you'll know where to find me vessel."

After a brief farewell from the entire crew he trekked up the mountain, unsure of what would be awaiting him. On the entire way up he kept wondering: How long until I'm finally caught? Will I ever be able to go back there and say hello to all my old friends? I can't wait to show them how much stronger I've gotten!

At the summit of the large volcanic rock pile he could hear bubbling and see steam rising in many different parts of the over-sized island. The earth he was standing on seemed strange as well, not the typical matter he'd seen before, it was darker, much richer, and more brittle. "Hmph, must be the result of the volcano," he mumbled looking back at the imposing crag before him.

I'll just take a rest in one of the many hot-springs around here, might as well relax now that we got Mist off our backs, huh buddy?

Yeah, you said it. I've always loved hot springs!

"Ahhh!" He moaned, lowering himself into the almost boiling waters of the spring. "I've never felt anything like this! It's-it's amazing!"

Further out into the spring, a man with a straw-hat was playing a soft melody on a flute.

Ace squinted, his eyes already weighed down the threat of sleep, and began to get uneasy. "Maybe it is time, I get out of here...3 hours are more than adequate rest."

Suddenly he froze as he remebered the scene before his departure. The two Uchiha's, they both wore straw-hats and peculiar cloaks. Drawing his sword closer to him, he calmly searched around for any clue of the so-called cloak as he wrapped a towel around his waist and pulled his robe on.

The kunai tore through the steam of the springs only to be quickly, and silently, dispatched by Ace, whose sword was unsheathed and glowing a phantom blue before being sheathed again.

I knew it...why can't I just get some rest?

What did you expect? You've deserted your village, have you forgotten what the price paid for that is?

Can't you come up with anything useful? Jeez, it's not like you tried to stop me or anything!

Ignoring the mental chatter of the Haachibi, he quickly put on his clothes and secured his weaponry before confronting the "man."

As he reached the half-way around the springs he was shocked at what he found...this man, wasn't any man at all. He was...a-a demon? Some sort of-of overgrown lizard!?

The lizard stood up, towering above the boy at more than 9 feet tall on his back legs with a tail that was probably 6 or more feet.

Ace could see that he was wearing a straw hat, which he now pushed back letting it hang from his neck by the string attached to it, and baggy black pants, secured to his waist by a large sash and just below his knees by smaller black ribbons. Upon closer inspection Ace was even more surpised that he had three swords on his character.

The lizard began to speak, "I knew one of you would find your way here someday. I haven't seen any of your kind since the first great ninja war!"

"My kind? Wha-" He was quickly interrupted.

"You are Techio, correct?"

"Yes."

"Well, that is what I mean by your kind."

Is this lizard for real? How does he know me like that? And what is he doing playing around in hot springs!?

The lizard bursts forth, skimming two of the now unsheathed blades against the stone causing sparks to fly from them, while weilding the third one in his tail.

"What the-!" Ace said flipping into the air, narrowly avoiding getting sliced by the two swords in the lizard's hands before being slashed across the face by the sword held in the lizard's tail.

He put his hand up to check it, but it was only a narrow gash. He now unsheathed his own sword and pointed the tip towards the lizard's head.

"Jerk. . ."

Ace ripped through the landscape a breakneck speed, pointing the blade directly towards the damned lizard.

The two opponents danced, and weaved, and collided and clashed for the remaining daylight.

Just as quickly as the fight began, it ended. The surrounding landscape was now filled with gashes and crevices and many trees had been felled from the resulting clash.

Ace looked down to check his sword and realized, for the first time, that it had been split in nearly two. It was about 18 inches shorter than it should've been.

"Wha-" he managed to stammer, face going pale. "It-It's not possible!" He continued for several minutes, face getting whiter by each passing moment as if he was some ghostly apparition.

Something wasn't right about this, his sword should've been able to stand up to anything else. Nothing was stronger than a Techio blade.

Just as he had considered this though the remainder of his sword began crumbling to the ground. Ace through the hilt down as well, in an act of surrender and dispare.

"Not so fast, my fine friend." chuckled the lizard, now revealing his face. "I think you've earned one of these." With those words he offers the youth one of his own swords.
"You'll find it much stronger than your old one, trust me."

Ace handled the sword catiously, as if it were made of glass, than looked back at the lizard, realizing the truth in his words. "Who are you. . ."

"Seiryuu"

It was a simple enough answer, but not what Ace had wanted to hear. Ace mindlessly sheathed the sword before realizing that -surprisingly- the sword had fit the sheath perfectly, what the hell was going on?

Seiryuu began unraveling a scroll before Ace, each flick of his wrist revealed another name enscribed with blood.

Ace read the names in silence. Techio, Ahiko . . . Techio, Aio . . .Techio, Akkene.

The last one surprised him, as it was the name of the last leader of the clan.

"Well?" The lizard seemed as if he was waiting for something and finally gestured towards the blank spot on the scroll.

As if he was in a daze, Ace walked over to the scroll and kneeled directly in front of it. He used a kunai to cut his palm and than dipped his finger in the blood, as if it was ink.

Once done it read:

Techio, Arekusu

The lizard helped the youth up and patted him on the shoulder.

"That was a good fight you put up. I haven't seen that type of swordsmanship since Akkene's early days" he grinned.

"Now than," the lizard continued while preforming hand-signs. "You know what to do. If you ever need my help, don't hesitate."

Ace blinked as the lizard disappeared and the sun came rising from behind the smoke-belching volcano on the island. Had he really spent the entire day fighting a lizard?

Sure enough, a large scroll was resting at the bottom of his feet and he had a new sword. It was real after all!

Inspecting the hilt of his sword, he pulled the small pendant (the Gecko encircled by its own tail) and wrapped a length of wire around it, placing it around his neck.

That was weird. . .

"Hey! Where were you until now?" Ace yelled angrily at, seemingly, no one.

What?! I'm not allowed to doze off every now and than?

Ace walked left the island continuing his journey, not knowing where he was going or why he was going there!.
