Toshi sighed, sitting at the Uchiha mansion kitchen table. She was on lock down and wasn't allowed out of the house for...oh, just about the rest of her life. Kaji was forced to leave her, and so he went back to Kiri with one of his fangirls. The Kuroda was sleeping with her cheek on the table. It had been six days since she ate any sugar, and she felt like shit...

Miru was getting very stressed lately, akatsuki took most of her times and the times were she was in the mansion, ANBU`s constansly asked were she had been, with the use of genjutsu and some lies she had prepeared, she had succeded in keeping it a secret, for how long, she didnt know. She was sitting at the table, her head lying on the flat stormach of toshi, her eyes closed, sleeping.

Aiden sighed as he entered the kitchen. It felt silent without Toshi's hyperness and Miru looking annoyed but happy at the same time. "Girls? Wake up. It's lunchtime," he said, poking Miru's forehead.

"aiden, let her sleep", he said refering to miru, her breath being steady but slow"she havent sleept for more than 2 hours the last 10 days..", he poked toshi`s tricklish spot under her jaw.

"Fine, fine. But we can't let them sleep here. Carry them upstairs, would you?" he said emotionlessly as he went over to the kitchen counter and started to cook, stiff as a robot.

Samu raised a eyebrow but picked up the 2, qutie easy since they didnt weitgh that much"and why are you so cold?"

"Naka got her heart broken twice, and she won't eat sugar anymore. What else am I supposed to feel?" he asked, silently chopping onions and carrots. "Miru's in Akatsuki and barely has time home. I'm packed with demons and missions. Naka's all alone. But as many say, she's just an ANNOYING LITTLE BRAT."

"hm, a cute brat you cant help but love", he let out a single sigh"..if itachi just had killed her back then, non of this mess would had happend..but again, then jaschu and shiro wouldt be here"

"And if Miru hadn't lived, I wouldn't have my little Naka-chan. And no, she is not cute," he growled. "Do not say that infront of her. Being with Miru makes her feel worthless, you know. She has Raiden, why would she want Toshi around?"

He let out a sigh, what was going on with aiden?, he used to be well, happy, at least smiling when they talked about toshi. "you sounding like toshi now", he groand, looking at the akuma"youve seen what they been through..she needs her, miru would still be a heartless killer if it wasent for toshi"

"Oh yeah?" Aiden started to make omelets and out of habit, chicken pie, though Toshi had only been drinking water since the start of the lock down. "Then, explain why she didn't?"

"didnt what?", samu said, placing the sleeping kuroda and uchiha in chairs, looking at his friend.

"Why she didn't kill everyone in sight with Toshi there?" he asked, dumping the ingredients in a pot.

While sleeping, Toshi had her head on Miru's shoulder, and her two small, pale hands were holding one of hers, in a very mother-daughterly way.

"because toshi removed all the anger and hatred from her heart and gave her a purpose to live, a better one than the goal the village had trained her for"

Aiden then cooked in utter silence. Sure, Naka had stopped him from going demon on everyone, but he thought that was just because they were supposed to be together. But was she really loving enough for Miru?

Toshi was breathing hard, and her soft snores sounded like, "...okaa-sama..."

samu let out a sigh"you really are a stubborn old man aiden", he said with a small smink. He then turned his head to the 2 girls, seeing miru crowld up like a shield around naka, hugging the younger girl tightly, made him roll his eyes

"I'm not old...physically. My soul's the old one," he replied, dumping in Shimeji mushrooms and fish into the hotpot. "Dinner will be out in a minute. Gah, I'm the husband and I'm supposed to cook."

Toshi sniffed and her hand went up to the silver chain on her neck.

samu sminked amused"well, you want toshi to kill us all when her ramen tries to strangle us?"

"That was only one time, she promised no more noodles," he said as he covered the pot to let it simmer. Then he started to make the soba to go with the hotpot. "And isn't Miru supposed to be busy with Raiden?"

"hm, you mean the swordsman?, no he left long ago, thats the reason she dosent trust any strangers..they keep leaving her"

"If you haven't noticed, a thirteen year old girl with a bitchy demon in her is just as strange," Aiden pointed out. "And the fact that she keeps coming back when she dies."

Samu let out a sigh"no matter what way you put it, they cant survive without eacthoder..sure toshi left without telling miru anything breaking her heart further"

"Yeah, while Miru was busy watching Raiden on during the exams. The girl was lonely and just got out of a break up. I think Kaji is a good influence on her."

"put it as you want it dosent change anything, she isent allowed to see him anymore"

"And why not? You think Kaji will hurt her?"
