Kaji sat shirtless by the riverside " yuudai uchiha will die but will I ever be with her again " he pondered " I'm not sure " he looked down at his hands " I'm not sure she wants me or her god " he spat diving IN to the cold waters

Toshi sighed. The river was curved and she was unseen by him. She was wearing the same green onepiece she used for the beach. Toshi gulped and splashed in, holding her breath. Was she trying to drown?

Kaji swam around until he noticed a faint green shimmer. He shot towards it ' little girl why the hell would any parent let there child play near this river ' he thought dragging the girls body to shore.

Toshi coughed and spluttered, sitting up lightheadedly. "Wha...ha..."

Kaji was already back in the river " be more carefull next time I might not be there to save you" his back to the girl

"But I was just about to drown and you stopped it! Sheesh." Toshi frowned and jumped back in. Her arm was caught by a jagged rock and the water turned red.

Kaji turned around " toshi " he saw the blood and swam back and grabbed her and pulled her out again he saw her arm and the gash
he made some hand seals and sealed up the wound " damn it toshi what the hell are you doing"

"I'm trying to drown," she mumbled. "Aiden put me in your care when I moved in, and he thought you'd take care of me whenever and wherever... I know better..." She sniffed and looked down at her now swollen arm. "Great. It's broken."

Stop complaining ... You moved out your god will take care of you or at least he should be " kaji said snapping her bone back in place

Toshi screamed out loud and tears streamed down her face. "Ow...! Grh...can't you understand, he thinks YOU are taking care of me....he actually trusts you." She rolled her eyes and searched for something suitable for a sling. "You need to study more on the god and angel relationship."

Kaji laughed " I am an angel six black wings I know all about god and angels and demons " he grabbed his shorts and the medical scroll which held a sling among other things . He put her arm in it

Toshi grimaced in and the sling started to stain with her blood. "It seems Kami doesn't want my body dead yet," she said, sighing. Toshi took one of his fingers in her good hand. "Can we talk?"

You can talk all you want " he said looking at her.

"Do you still hate me?" The corners of her mouth turned down sadly and she touched his cheek. Her broken heart was in full view.

Kajis glare softened " I ... Don't hate you ... I hate the fact Aiden will always be number one "

"You can share that position...but do...do you even still want me?"

I ... I do " he said looking at her "I'll share but you can't call Aiden by those titles I am kaji and he is Aiden that is how it must be "

"You are my Kareshi and he is my Nushi...just accept that fact," she begged, looking up at him with sincere teary eyes.

Kaji narrowed his eyes and looked away "look at things from my point of view ... "You know, I wouldn't really mind," she mused. "But if you really want us both I don't mind, considering I love you." She started to softly cry. "You only want me for sex and kids."

"Aiden is my best friend, my father, my brother, he has been everything for as long as I can remember...how would you feel if you had to choose between the two people you love the most?"
