Training the Naka way. (Open)

"Mmm...done!" The woman pulled the curler away, and showed Naka the perfectly symmetrical, curly drill pigtails. Naka giggled and poked them a little, and Yukiko's hair bounced at the movement. They had fastened the pigtails with pink ribbons, to match her dress. Seeing her now, Kurama didn't stifle his amusement- he laughed anyway. She was all pink, except her hair, so the name strawberry really fit her. The woman clasped her hands together and marvelled at her work. "Sooo cute! Just like a maid!"
Naka giggled again and held out the kitty ears to Yukiko.

Yukiko put them on being carful not to muss her hair, she stood up and looked in the mirror and her eyes widened In shock, she looked so girly, like a fragile, harmless girl. Yukiko crossed her arms and pouted as she turned to face the laughing Kurama "your enjoying this aren't you" she huffed and stormed upstairs into Naka's room, she hated looking so fragile, she was a fighter for god sakes! And Kurama's laughter just made her feel worse, she sat on the end of Naka's bed and sulked, willing the week to end.

Kurama looked at Naka, who was now getting her hair straightened and combed out by her foster mother. "Adventure again?"
"Yes!"
He sighed at her answer. "Pixie?"
"Mmhmm! And cheetah."
He nodded, and almost had a small sincere smile. There was a reason why Naka loved costumes.

As soon as she was done, Naka entered the room Yukiko was in, but instead was dressed. She wore a little blue tutu costume, with wings painted on the back. She hopped over to Yukiko and hugged her.
Kurama came too. Instead, he was wearing a cheetah-print shirt, black pants, was barefoot, had cheetah ears and tail and had whiskers drawn on his cheeks.

Yukiko returned the embrace and smirked when she saw Kurama "looks like I'm not the only one" she mused and started giggling, there outfits made her feel a bit better, she stood up and lifted Naka onto her shoulders "now you can fly like a fairy" she giggled and walked over to Kurama and playfully batted his head "now I know how you won our poker game you cheeter" he joke put a smile to her own face as she walked about the room with Naka.

Naka giggled and cooed happily as Yukiko carried her around. It was quite fun, actually, playing like this. But this itself was not enough - Naka had a bigger plan in mind.

Kurama rolled his eyes at the comment and crossed his arms. He was obviously used to cosplaying were-animals - gis tail and ears twitched naturally, and his nails were slightly sharpened. Naka pat Yukiko on the shoulder and smiled. "Go touch Ku-chan on the shoulder. I wanna play a game with all of you!"

Yukiko shrugged and walked over to him with a happy smile, she stood directly in front of the man/animal and placed her right hand on his left shoulder "what's the game Naka?" she purred and twitched her ears as she held Kuramas gaze.

"It's called Life or Death." Naka smiled and took out her Evoker. The shiny gun was loaded, and the safety was off. She put the barrel to her temple and pulled the trigger.

In a split-second, the trio was in a new surrounding - a small wooden hut. From the chirping and rustling outside, it was evident that they were in the wilderness. Naka hopped off Yukiko's back and looked around. "Ahhh... A treasure hunt! Katherine wants us to go on a treasure hunt!"
Kurama sighed. "Let the games begin," he muttered.

As Yukiko saw the gun pressed agaisnt the little girls temple she cried out and went to snatch the gun off her with her free hand but it was to late, Yukikos eyes slammed shut as she heard to audible bang of the weapon. She expected Naka to fall off her shoulder but when she heard the girls voice her eyes slowly opened.

As she looked around the hut then back around to Kurama and finally resting on Naka "what the.. But... HOW?" she couldn't form a sentence, still rattled from the suicide attempt, she didn't even absorb the words they spat out about a treasure hunt, she shook her head "DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN" she scolded.

Naka looked up at Yukiko with her trademark goo-goo Chibi sad puppy eyes. It was more of a habit now than it was a skill. "B-b-but Yukiko-chan, that was my booster," she wailed.
"Chakra booster," Kurama explained. "It loads chakra bullets that get into her stream and help her do difficult jutsu. A Gen this big requires that kind of help, so yeah... She'd be quite bored without it."
Said little brunette skipped around the room, waiting for them to finish so that they could play.

"well you could have told me beforehand" she smiled and ruffled Naka's hair "it's okay, what are we doing out here, exPlain the rules" a treasure hunt could be fun, her senses were more acute then humans so she could sniff the prize out.

"Katherine made the map, and there will be step-by-step challenges that we have to overcome as a team. We have no time limit, but are not allowed to leave the Genjutsu until we find the prize," Kurama further explained to her. His tail swished back and forth. "Also... We are what we dress up as before we got in." He was a were-cheetah and Naka was a real pixie with real wings. And Yukiko was now a real kitty maid.

"WHAT!" she exclaimed and looked at them both "your a cheetah, she's a flying pixie and I'm a stupid Kitty maid" she crossed her arms and sulked "I demand to be changed into something more meanicing" she ordered and tapped her foot, this was
So not fair they could use there abilities and what could she do, clean someones house and play with a ball of string, her tail twitched in annoyance.

Kurama chuckled and shook his head. "We can't change, the game has started. And besides, stay calm. Katherine designs the game to fit so that all of us have to do something only we can do to pass the challenges. You're gonna have to use your kitty powers sooner or later." He chuckled once more and opened the door of the hut. On the dusty ground was an envelope. "Ah Katherine...so old-fashioned." He opened it up and read the contents aloud. "The test of stamina. All three of you must climb the mountain behind the forest and go to the very peak to get the next step. Your time limit is three days."
"Wow, it used to be only two..."

hmm well it seemed that Kurama and Naka would have no problem, Cheetahs were agile and quick and pixies could, well they could fly. A cat though would probably have some trouble, why couldnt she be a mountain lion instead. "come on you guys we have three days" she marched up ahead with the grace of a cat, her dress fluttered slightly in the gentle breeze as she made her way to the base of the mountain.

"That's the spirit!" Naka cheered as she ran after Yukiko. Sure, she could fly, but wings tickled her, and so it was hard for her to concentrate while she was flying. She skipped along Yukiko to match her pace, but Kurama took long, lazy strides and could still pass them. He was just so tall, you know? Naka smiled and held out her hand to Yukiko. "Can I hold your hand?" she asked simply. Naka had no reason to, other than she wanted it. Simple as that.

"sure I guess" she held Naka's hand loosley as she walked, Kurama was irritating her how fast he was walking "some of us are shorter then the rest" she called and hoped he got the hint. They reached the mountain quicker then expected and Yukiko suddenly had a thought "um guys, seeing as this is a gengetsu and all, what happens if we get injured or... die" she winced at the last part, Yuiko wasn't prepared to die over a silly game.

"When we die, we get sent back to the real world alive, but we'll still have the injuries, or at least some of them. So if Kurama gets his hand chopped off, in real life it's just cut halfway. So be careful. I got a spike through the gut and couldn't eat properly for a whole day." Naka winced at the memory. And Kurama had just made her favourite chicken pie just that very morning, too. She squeezed Yukiko's hand gently as they caught up to Kurama. They were at the very base of the mountain - they would have to take a path that swirled around the perimeter to reach the very top of it.

"just as long as I don't die i can handle what ever is thrown my way" she laughed lightly and released Naka's hand and walked up to the mountain at the start of the winding rocky path. it looked as though when they neered the top it would be single file, Yukiko wasn't afraid of heights and marched on ahead without waiting for the others. they could catch up easily.

Naka whimpered and held her hand out to Kurama, who took it and pulled her close. Naka was scared of heights and instability, and the mountain had both. She needed a hand to reassure her and to calm her down. Kurama got her to sit on his shoulders and fast-walked over to Yukiko, trying to keep from swaying to prevent Naka from getting scared. "You really are a pessimist, aren't you?" he asked her.

"every step of the way" she retorted and continued along the path, she had to be careful of loose rocks and if she didnt watch out she could easily sprain an ankle. Yukiko was sure it wouoldn't be this easy all the way but hoped that it wouldn't get to difficult either.

But with Katherine, you always had to expect something. Maybe not something bad, but always something. It was how she had fun. Being a Japanophile trapped in a sweet teenage girl was fine and all, but Isamu was incapable of making trouble. Katherine made it for her.

Naka looked at the sun - it was slightly after noon. "Be ready," she said. "The first monster will come soon."

Yukiko reached to her back to draw her sword but it wasn't there "this gengetsu sucks, I have no weapons except my strenghth, agility and claws and teeth" well if she was a Cat she would just have to fight like a kitty warrior, her dress might get in the way a bit.

Soon after her advanced senses heard a roar, distant at first but growing steadily "looks like we have company" she added.

They came upon a cliff, and another cliff way up ahead. There was a solid stone bridge there, and a red flag on the other side; the first challenge. "I wonde-"
"Who goes there?" came a great roar from under the bridge, and something jumped out to block their way. It was... Big and hairy and muscled. Not to mention ugly. It was a troll. Naka blinked at it. So this was why Katherine wanted to watch Dora the Explorer so badly the other day.

"hmm i wonder" she looked over the troll and approached it with confidence "let me handle this you guys" he turned to the troll "what must we do to get to the other side, do we answer a question, riddle or do we fight" she cocked her head to the side, not one bit afraid, she could handle a simple beast.

"Maybe both, O cat maid," he mocked as he came forward towards them a little. He was big and ugly, and seemed as if his very flesh and fat were rotting. Naka covered her nose and stayed behind Kurama, who watched Yukiko intently. A pessimist, insane, and a bloodthirsty streak?
"You can't kill me, no one can!" the troll taunted.
