"I don't know you well enough..." she said, tilting her head. "...and I don't love you enough."

oh you dont know me well enough but you came to this festival with the intention of getting into my pants " kaji said coldly. he shook his head " its getting late Im going to go to the Ryoukan ... sweet dreams " he stood up and started walking away

She scratched her head, what did she do wrong? Ushio sighed and tilted her obi. He was gone by the time she stood by the tree, watching the tiny fireworks.

She slipped under the covers with him. "Please don't be mad." She shuffled closer to him.

How can I not be mad" he said stiffening at her closeness " you dont wanna marry me because you say im a stranger but you invite me to a festival with the intention of having $€x with me "

"...it wasn't my idea," she said quietly. "Kurama told me...it'd make you happy." She cleared her throat and looked at him.

She knew he would be pissed at her for rebelling, but that was her nature. Ushio grabbed a pillow and laid down on the floor.

Kaji ignored her outburst and fell asleep
Samael sighed inside kajis head " these kids will be the death of me "

Ushio grumbled and fell asleep on the couch, her back pained and her neck hurting

samael took over the body and brought Ushio back to bed
