An Adventure (Yuudai and Ember)

"But you cant live your life blind,can you?We can kill someone that wants to be killed." Ember shrugged.

"Why not wait two months, then go talk to Aiden?"

"Is that what you really want?" Ember turned to face him,her eyes still red,and bloodshot,tear stains on her cheeks,though she knew he wouldnt be able to notice.

"Why were you crying? And how long?"

Ember wiped away more tears."I was crying for four hours because ....." Gotta make a long story short she thought,"Because I just...I just want you to love me.Thats all I ask of you.And it seems like I work so hard for you to tell me just once in a blue moon."She sighed."But that doesnt matter.What matters right now is getting your eyes back to normal."

"Ember, I'm sorry if I don't tell you I love you often, but just because I don't say it doesn't mean I don't love you. Of course I do, why wouldn't I?"

"Because im a monster." She muttered."And it feels like were still just...friends.But...No matter what you think of us,I know that I love you."

"You're not a monster, or a bad person. You never have and you never will be. So stop believing you are"

Ember wanted to argue,but instead she kept quiet and wiped away a tear that was rolling down her cheek."And...Id just like to see...A little bit more credit.As being your girlfriend.So many people suggested I just...I just get rid of you and get someone new...But I cant.I cant because I love you,and something in me-i dont know what,is telling me to stay."

"The thing telling you to stay is you, its your heart. And yes you have one. I would understand if you did leave though...but I would be sad to see you go"

"Well then I have a descsion to make." She turned toward him."Yuudai?How much do you love me."

/"With all my heart" he answered without thinking.

She took both of his hands in hers."And would you still love me,if you saw the true me.Whats inside."

"Yes I would, Ember" he nodded

"And...This is optional,...Will you tell me you love me a little more often?"

"Whatever makes you happy"

"Now,this is another test." She warned,then leaned in and gently kissed his cheek,pulling back and looking for a reaction.

He was smiling

Ember smiled gently,then sighed.It wasnt exactly what she was hoping for,since smiling was the least he could do.She looked down to her feet,trying to mask the dissapointment.

Then he came closer and kissed her lips

Ember smiled and held it there.

He didn'tknow wht to do at the moment

Again,I have to do everything,dont I?
Frustrated yet trying to cover it up,she parted her lips.
