Home to sister

"Okay." Goru stood up and followed Kasumi to the bedroom. He slipped under the sheets of the make-shift bed on the floor, and yawned. "Good night, Kasumi-chan..."

"Nighty night, Goru!" She got in her bed and got comfortable.
Akemi shut off the lights. "Goodnight." He said and then walked off.

Goru smiled and shut his eyes, and drifted off to sleep.

During the night a storm starts up. Raining hard and thunder and lightning. Katsumi hated storms and it woke her up. She'd usually go into Akemi's room and sleep with him but since Goru was right there she got out of bed and got under the blankets with him, wanting to be with someone during the scary storm.

Goru blinked his eyes open as he felt something soft and warm against him. He sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Hm? Kasumi-chan, what's wrong?" There was a jolt of lightning as it cracked against the dark sky, and a rumble of thunder. "Oh, are you scared?"

She moved closer to him as she heard the thunder. "MhmMhm." She mummbled, keeping her eyes shut and trying to hide her face.

Goru laid back down and pat Kasumi's head. "Don't worry, I'm here. The thunder won't hurt you as long as I'm here." He tucked the sheets around them and smiled.

She cuddled up to him more and hid her face against him, already feeling safer. She clutched onto his shirt tightly, the fabric crushed in her little hand.

Goru smiled as he was reminded of his thunder-phobic sister. "My sister is afraid of thunder too." He clapped his hands on her ears, hoping to null out the sound.

Soon she couldn't hear the thunder at all. She felt much safer like this, and still being sleepy, she ended up falling back asleep.

"Good night..." Goru yawned, and let his heavy lids close. He fell asleep too, having a dreamless sleep.

Akemi walked into the bedroom in the morning, not liking the site of the two of them sleeping together. "Wake up, breakfast is ready." He announced.
Katsumi yawned as she woke up, stretching her little arms.

Goru blinked his eyes open, and stretched his sore limbs too. He didn't mind sleeping with Kasumi, but it was kind of cramped. "Okay....Good morning..."

Naka and Aiden walked up to the doorstep and rang the bell. Naka was humming happily, loaded on adrenaline. "I hope they got along..."

Akemi walked to the door as Katsumi and Goru got up. He opened the door, the same serious look on his face.

"Hullo, Akemi-san!" Naka bowed and hugged him quickly as a greeting. "May I come in?"

Goru walked down to the kitchen with Kasumi, his clothes wrinkled and hair messy. He sat at the counter, and eyed the food, choosing what he should eat.

Akemi moved out of the way, only letting them in because Goru was over.
Katsumi picked out a bunch of food and starting eating it.

Goru peeled the skin off a banana and started eating, stealing glances at Katsumi once in a while. "Excuse us for intruding!" Naka said, smiling, and went to the kitchen. "Did he behave?" Aiden asked Akemi as soon as Naka was out of earshot.

Akemi nodded, not wanting to speak to Aiden. He still didn't get a nice vibe from this guy and couldn't trust him.
Katsumi smiled as she saw Naka. "Hi!" She waved.

(I'm off to bed~)

"Hello, Katsumi-chan!" Naka said, and lightly kissed her on the head. "Did you sleep well? Goru-chan has a teddy bear at home he needs to hug." "Onee-chan!"

"Oh, good." He bowed his head and went to the kitchen, following Naka. "Good morning, twerps..."

"Goru protected me from the storm!" Katsumi smiled widely.
Akemi walked in the kitchen with everyone, making sure his sister was okay with all of these strangers around.

"Her too?" Aiden asked, arching an eyebrow. "First Naka, then her too....Goru, you're turning into a hero type..."

Naka hit Aiden's shoulder, although he didn't even feel it. He sat down at the table across Kasumi, and eyed her warily. "..."

Katsumi didn't like being looked at like that so she got up and went over to Akemi, hugging his legs. Akemi wrapped his arms around Katsumi as he looked at the three others in the kitchen.

Aiden chuckled as she went to Akemi and looked away. Goru kicked Aiden's leg from under the table angrily. Naka went over to Katsumi, bending down and smiling. "So, what d'you wanna do today?"

Katsumi hid her face in her brothers knees and stayed quiet. She was scared and didn't want to speak at the moment. Akemi looked at Aiden, knowing he was the problem.

Naka frowned lightly, then looked up at Akemi. "Is something wrong with me?"

Aiden chuckled. "I think she's afraid of me."
