The Tranquility Of Solitude

Aiden snarled and got hold of Naka's wrist. "And I'm not going 'til I kill her. So then we're both gonna stay." Aw, great. ANOTHER ONE! Naka had too many protective friends. How was he supposed to do things to her if others were around?

"Don't fight - oh, a bunny..."

"Kill who, me or Naka....? Don't confuse me darling..." Kaminari said still smirking.

Aiden rolled his eyes. "Kill Naka. I have no reason to kill you." He loosened his grip on Naka's wrist and held her hand, her small one in his manly one.

"Ok then....hang on...why are you killing her?" Kaminari said laughing slightly in confusion.

"Because no one else may have her when I'm gone." He played with their intertwined fingers, twisting hers until she felt some pain.

Kaminari grabbed Naka and pulled her away from Aiden. "Yeah...well thats perfectly reasonable isn't it...besides....how do you even know if you'll die before her...." Kaminari said keeping calm.

"Because I'm gonna get killed sooner or later, and I know whoever wants to do it will torture me." Aiden let go of Naka's hand reluctantly.

Kaminari looked at him and her voice became slightly sympathetic. "Ok...well I know nothing about you...so I can't really judge you, but why does she have to die....you could just let her live her life!"

Aiden sighed. People didn't know Naka as well as he did. Heck, he knew more than Naka herself. He whispered to Kaminari as Naka played with a bunny, making sure he was heard only by her. "Two years without me, her heart was still broken. Two years without me, she dreamed of suicide. And she even had her friends to keep herself company. But she still wanted to die. Naka would go to hell for me, and she once did. If I kill her, she'd probably go to heaven, don't you think?"

Kaminari swallowed the lump in her throat and took in a deep breath. She looked at Aiden then at Naka happily playing with the rabbit. She smiled to herself and quietly said "Something makes me think you aren't as bad as you seem....just stop being such an arse to her...please?" Kaminari said knowing he wouldn't.

"Naka likes it that way, even if she doesn't look like it. And I'm not bad. Just badass." He waved to Naka, who playfully waved the bunny's hand.

Kaminari accepted what he had said then laughed. "You're so not badass....purely because you call yourself badass..." She said laughing a little more. She shook her head and grinned to herself.

"Look, look! It's Banban!" Naka came over to them, holding a brown hare. Aiden cracked a lopsided grin and pat her head. "Good girl."

Kaminari smiled and set off walking again. She walked towards an area of the forest that looked pitch black; she picked up her pace and soon she could barely see her hand right infront of her face, it was that dark.

Naka followed Kaminari, but soon she was lost. "Kya..." Something hard picked her up and started running. It was Aiden, going after Kaminari. He didn't know why Naka wanted to follow, but played along.

Kaminari's eyes soon adjusted to the darkness and she spotted a snake slithering around on the floor. 'Awwwwwwww...why do I fin that cute?' She thought to herself and laughed whilst picking it up. She wrapped the snake around her and carried on walking until she came out into the open again.

"Damn..." Aiden almost tripped as he got out of the darkness. He followed Kaminari, carrying Naka. "Where the hell...?"

Kaminari gazed in awe at the sight in front of her. "I love waterfall's......did either of you even realise we've been walking in the direction the stream came from....it was only a mtter of time before we hit something like this" Kaminari said grinning at them both. She carefully un-wrapped the snake from around her body and wrapped it along her arm.

"...hm..." Strange ideas formed in Aiden's mind. He let Naka down, who ran straight to the edge of the watefall. "Cooool!"

Kaminari looked at the cliff ahead of them. She examined it carefully walked forward a little then anounced. "I'm going climbing." She grinned at Aiden and Naka then ran to the cliff face and stepped onto her first foothold and grabbed a rock above dragging herself up.

"Coming!" 'DON'T LEAVE ME!' Naka did the exact same thing as Kaminari, but with less efficient results. Aiden sighed from underneath, and climbed as well, pacing himself to match Naka.

Kaminari laughed and shouted down to Naka and Aiden "Yano i'm just gonna jump back down...." She giggled to herself and climbed the rest of the way to the top of the cliff.

"Really?" Naka looked up, and her fingers accidentally slipped. "UWAAAA!" She fell from a high point, and her scream dried out as she descended. Aiden sighed and using his left hand, clicked his fingers.

Kaminari looked over the cliff as Naka fell; she did nothing as she knew Aiden would catch her and instead unwinded the snake from her arm. He bent down and let the snake slither across the floor. She stripped down to her underwear again carefully laying all her stuff in a neat pile and walked to the edge of the cliff. "JUST WAIT UP HERE FOR ME!" She shouted down to Naka and Aiden before taking a few steps back and taking a running jump off the cliff.
