The Tranquility Of Solitude

"Danna is...?" Kaminari asked "Ohh...is that like a nickname for that kid Aiden?"

(ooc: ughh wont reply for a while i have school -.-)

Naka was so shocked that she accidentally swallowed some water. She spluttered and coughed, and climbed out of the water. "H-how'd you know?" She blushed and shook the water out of her hair. She didn't put her clothes on yet, since her body was still wet.

(ooc: s'okay, I gotta make lunch D: )

Kaminari giggled. "Well...I dunno...i'm intuitive" She said grinning up at Naka from the floor. She pushed herself up so her weight was resting on her arms and looked at Naka. "So you said you found this guy's bedtime 'stories'? Does that mean what I think it does?" She said beginning to laugh.

"Hm? What do you mean?" Naka tilted her head and looked at Kaminari.

Kaminari chuckled to herself and smirked at Naka "Nothing; don't worry about it...but if it's what I think it is then someone needs to have words with that dude" She laughed.

Naka just smiled, looking confused. "Hyuuu...I'm bored..." She dived deeper into the water and resurfaced three feet away. "...I can't swim properly."

Kaminari grinned at her. "Did no-one ever teach you? What kind of master is this Aiden" she laughed standing up. "Would you like me to help you learn to swim properly?" She asked warmly smiling at Naka.

"Danna can swim, it's just that he's never seen me in anything other than my normal outfit before..." Naka drooped her head, wetting the ends of her hair again. She looked up, giving Kaminari a sheepish grin. "Okay! Thanks, Kaminari-san!"

"Oh...I think I understand..." Kaminari said quietly trying not to embaress Naka. She dived into the water and grabbed Naka's hand and pulled her into a deeper part of the stream. Keeping hold of Naka's arm she asked "So do you know how to tred water?"

"...not really..." Naka had good chakra control, but she just had a hard time focusing them to her feet. "Danna only taught me to walk on trees. The water part, he didn't like." Naka felt her feet leave the river bed, and she held on tight to Kaminari. It was a new experience, and a bit of a scary one.

Kaminari stepped onto the water using her chakra to keep herself up. She felt Nakas grip tighten and smiled to herself. "Ok just try your best to focus your chakra to your feet in a continuous amount, and don't worry about falling i've got ya." She said grinning at Naka.

Naka gulped and used one hand to support her. She concentrated the chakra to her palm and laid it on the water's surface. Next, she concentrated chakra to her flat chest, and soon she was on all fours. One of her legs then was raised and Naka got up on her feet, wobbling. She still held on to Kaminari with one hand, her feet occasionally sinking a few centimetres.

"Wheeey...you're doing it. Just keep pacticing and you'll get really good," Kaminari said grinning at Naka. "Ok..when you get bored of doing this i'll help you dive and be able to swim under water for quite a while. I love doing it. It's so peaceful." Kaminari sighed happily.

"Okay, I - nuuu!" Naka fell in, pulling Kaminari down as well. She resurfaced, spluttering and coughing out water. "T-that was scary..!" Water flowed away from the spot, as if there was a hole underneath. Then, the water in that small area of the stream was only waist-length. Naka coughed out more water, rubbing salty water from her eyes.

Kaminari laughed when she resurfaced. "You ok? I found that quite fun actually." Kaminari laughed. "Ok I think I should learn you to swim well before we walk on water...that way when you fall in you won't get scared...sound good to you?" She asked Naka calmly smiling at her to try and calm her down.

Naka nodded, and the water went back to its original place. Her head bobbed at the surface, and she shook the water from her hair. "...I wish Danna could teach me too..." She waded slowly, making sure her feet were near the seabed. Seiyuuki was snoozing lazily under the sun, his tail around his furry body. His defense was definitely down to zero, leaving it all to Kaminari if someone came.

Kaminari smiled "Well if i knew where he was i'd make him teach you..anyway" She said gently grabbing Naka's arm and pulling her into slightly deeper water "Don't panic i've got ya...now you have to learn to proper tred water. Just move your legs in sort of circle movements below your body and do the same with your arms at your side to help you stay stright...ok?" She said doing it herself to demonstrate; the whole time keeping a hold on Naka's arm.

Naka swallowed the lump that formed in her throat and did as she was told. On a scale of one to ten, she was doing three. Naka followed Kaminari's movements, determination on her face. Actually, it looked pretty funny.

Kaminari giggled slightly and swam backwards a little bit into still deeper water. Now neither of them could touch the waterbed. She tightened her grip slightly on Naka's arm to make sure she didn't get scared and smiled at her. "See you're doing well, just practice a bit and you won't need me to hold your arm" she said encouragingly

'...DANNA, HELP MEEEE..!!!' "O-okay..." She tried again, her hand tight around Kaminari's. This time, it was a bit, just a bit, better. "Guhh..."

"You're doing fine" Kaminari calmly said "I was useless when I first learned to swim. Nearly drowned like five times. But I just laughed it off...I mean I never had anyone to help me learn so I had to....but anyway your safe so just try to have fun, it's easier to learn if you find it fun." Kaminari softly said trying to make Naka feel better.

"Once again!" Naka tried again, trying so hard the water was splashing furiously.

A little rose petal drifted onto Naka's mess of clothes.

Kaminari laughed turning her head to stop the water splashing into her eyes. "Ok calm down a bit" She laughed "The water shouldn't be slashing at all...try and keep your hands under water and just use them to keep you afloat."

"Okay!" Naka gave a small sneeze, and rubbed her nose. She stopped kicking her legs so hard and slowed down instead. "Ah, it's getting easier now!" She smiled happily and continued.

The wind blew the petal into Naka's pants, and it turned to black and white.

"Yaaay, well done." Kaminari said smiling at her. "Ok when you feel comfortable just let go of my hand, then you'll have both arms so it'll be easier and you'll feel more confident."
