Amongst Cold and Fire

Kyoko walked along the path to the small village, shivering as she pulled her cloak tighter around her body.

She hadn't been to the Snow village before, and already was starting to think that her stay wouldn't be the happiest. Kyoko didn't particularly like the cold... but she could get used to it, after a while.

She continued to walk down the path, her thoughts turning to her little home in Konoha, where it was much...warmer.

And larger, she noted, when she finally found the village. If it could be called that. A few houses and other buildings, a bit scattered, barely managed to form a street, much the less an entire village. Well, at one point, it had probably been larger....

Kyoko had heard rumors about the snow village once being huge, but declined over time because of important families disagreeing with the village's Kage and leaving. But, then again, they were only rumors.

A little while later, she thought she sensed another chakra.

not that far away sat a girl in the snow acting like a little baby, making snow angel path , she would stand up take few steps and then lay down and make another and forming a little path that way.

but she had gotten a bit tired in her hands so she just sat there , for is she would be laying and someone would come then she would fit to much into the snow and not be noticed.

but she didn 't the wind blowing on her snow white hair so she made a little air bubble making it go around her .

not noticing anyone coming soon she layed down and took around her necklaces that she had gotten from her new friends, she loved it allot and made sure Macht wouldn't see them , for she might get into trouble for playing somewhere isin't allowed to play .

Kyoko eventually saw the girl, smiling at her and her snow angels. It was cute!

Kyoko decided to greet her. Maybe the girl could point her in the direction of an inn or something....if this tiny village even had one, which she was starting to doubt.

Slowly, she approached.

"Hello," Kyoko said to the girl, trying not to frighten her by her sudden speaking but also having suddenly appeared in front of her.

She decided to wait a second before asking if there was an inn.

trina looked to the side noticing her not answering her until few seconds later when she realized she had been talking to her.

"oh hai i'm Trina ...who are you if I may ask?"

she asked with a smile and sat back up looking at her with her big glowing aqua blue eyes, she then lightly shook her head to get the snow of her and looked back at her. feeling a bit chatty ...not like that was anything new for the little girl

Kyoko smiled at the girl. She looked so cute!

"Hi Trina, I'm Kyoko," she replied, taking another step forward through the snow.

In truth, she felt talkative as well.

"I'm going to be staying here in the village for a while," she said, twisting a strand of hair has she spoke. "It's a very pretty little place."

"nice to meet you Kyoko, ..yeah it's quite beautiful here isn't it ...i'm guessing you need a place to stay the night ..am I right "
Trina smiled brightly , pushing a bit of her hair behind her ear ,looking up at her
she did so not look her age she looked half her age ..okay maybe younger ..she kinda looked around 5-6 years old she was so tiny and cute even if she was 11 years of age

she would stand up to greet her like a normal human being and nodded lightly

"Umm....Yeah," Kyoko replied, smiling again.

"Do you happen to know if there's an inn or hotel that I could stay in here, in this village? You see...I'm going to be here for a while, and I do need a place to stay during that time. You were right."

She felt bubbly inside, an unusual cheerful sensation that usually didn't surface on missions, mainly due to the fact that she hated to work....

Well, this would be different. Hopefully, her time here would be fun.

Trina giggles
"of course i'm right , everyone that comes here just need a place to stay for not many like the snow as much as I do ...but I can show you to the hotel , it's a wonderful place but the adults and elders aren't that ....how can I put it ....fun ..they aren't much fun that is why I enjoy the younger once that come here ...that are willing to chat and ...maybe play ..even if only one has ever wanted to ...isn't that sad ...so many people don't know how to have fun anymore ...just how to care about work and nothing else ...it's so sad ...people need to smile and enjoy life more"

she then locked her fingers together behind her own back and wobbled away into the village hoping she would follow if she wanted to get to the hotel before the storm came

Kyoko smiled as she watched the girl, she seemed sweet.

She followed Trina into the village. She was unaware of the oncoming storm, but did have some sort of sense that told her it would be best to get into a shelter before much more time had passed.

Kyoko dismissed it as just reacting to the cold, but something still nagged her at the back of her mind.

As they were walking, Kyoko tried to strike up another conversation.
"So, um... what's it like here, living in this village?"

Trina kept walking leading her to the hotel "huh? living here ? it was fun but I don't live here anymore ..I live in the Iron village with my dad ...well he adopted me from here when I was six years old" she said that as she turned around to look at Kyoko with a bright and sweet smile on her face and a slight giggle to her voice as she turned back and stopped when the arrived in front of the hotel

"Ah," Kyoko murmured. The Iron village? To be honest, it didn't ring a bell in her mind.

Kyoko assumed it must have been a smaller village, probably without ninja.
I might be wrong, but...I feel as if I should have heard that name before. But I haven't. Maybe I should have paid more attention in the academy, she thought to herself.

She smiled again. Kyoko was already beginning to like this girl.

"This is the hotel?" she asked, looking up at the building they had stopped in front of.

"yeah it is the hotel ..we should get in before the storm arrives" trina said as she opened the door for her.

"have you ever been to the Iron village? I love it there it's just as snowy as here " she kept giggling and like always had that cute little smile on her face like a little kid , it fit perfectly with her big glowing aqua blue eyes

Kyoko couldn't help but smile widely again. The girl was just too cute!
After stepping into the hotel, she took a moment to brush the freshly fallen snow off of her head so it wouldn't melt and get her hair wet.

"Hmm...no, I don't think I've ever been to the Iron village," she replied, tapping her chin thoughtfully.
"But from what you've just told me, it sounds pretty nice."

Trina closed the door making sure it would give a loud noise as it closed and looked at her,
shaking her head a bit making the snow fall down,well some of it and she smiled "okay dokey~well it is nice ..just not school that is not nice " she used a bit of a whiny tone as she said that
