Shadow`s of the enemy

Persephone sighed again. She put a finger to Shiro's head, and enveloped her mind in a Genjutsu. "Sleep tight..." she whispered, and tucked the sheets around her. "Granny Persephone needs some rest too."

Toshi lightly pulled on Miru's arm. "You can be such an idiot, Miru-san...but since you insist on killing yourself for nothing, I might as well come and try save Shiro too." She stood up, went outside alone, and started tracking. As soon as she locked on to the scent, Toshi ran.

Itachi put on his warm akatsuki around miru, lifted her up befor following toshi, miru had her eyes half closed and she tried to focused on toshi to stay awake..

Toshi, surprisingly, ran away from the forest. She was running on all fours, like a chasing animal. She went deep along Konoha's streets, and stopped infront of a ryokan. It smelled a lot like Akuma.Without bothering with Miru or the others, she transformed into Persephone and went in.

Itachi let out a sigh and simply followed, his sharingan was activated, along with his cold gaze

Persephone-Toshi turned back to Itachi and hissed. "Don't come in as an Akatsuki, idiot..." She turned to the person and smiled. "I'm sorry, I seem to have misplaced my key. May I have a replacement?" "Sure, but don't lose this one." He gave her an extra, and she thanked him. Perse-Toshi then went up to the allocated room and pressed an ear against the door.

"mama..papa..", came the scared sleepy voice of shiro that had awaken after 10 minuts only, she was looking around afirad

Miru laid a hand against the door"..shiro.."came her low voice

"Miru-san, stay here with Itachi," PerseToshi said. She released the Henge, opened the door but locked it before the Uchihas could follow. "Persephone-san, please give me the baby..."

"You mean your baby?"

"H-huh?"

"Oh, don't play dumb Naka-chan...admit it, this is yours and Itachi's kid, isn't she?"

Shiro begang crying louder"mama!", came her little voice as she begang to struggle to get off the bed

"No, she's not...."

"She has your eyes!"

"It's just a coincidence!"

"Yeah, right! It's a one in a billion chance!"

"Persephone, please...give her back..."

a light bumb could be head as the little shiro had managed to land on the pillow laying on the floor and the little uchiha girl begang crawling towards the door"..mama"

Toshi circled Persephone, letting the baby get away safely. "I can compromise... I'll give myself up, but...you have to let me keep Nedia."

Persephone laughed coldly. "HIM? Nedia? Ooh, I wouldn't mind, and neither would baby bro...why him, though?"

"Aiden-sama doesn't love me, neither does Miru-san or Ita-san... All I have left is Nedia-sama..."

Shiro pulled toshi`s hand lightly and was crying a little"m..mama loves toshi..d..dont say that..m..mama die if you go away"

Toshi smiled to the baby and kissed her head. "Mama's not going anywhere because mama doesn't love at all..."

"You're..really not her mother?"

"No."

Shiro cried more"..d..dont go..", it was all she was saying now"..m..mama keeps crying...when no one looks..b..because you dont like her.."

"I do, Shiro-chan, I do, but love just isn't enough for her," she said, and pat Shiro's head. Then she turned to Persephone, her face tired and aged. "Why do you keep doing this to me?" "Because...I wanted you to know...how a mother feels when her baby's gone," Persephone said, her eyes turning teary.

Shiro looked down"..mama..only wants to live..because you love her but...y..you dont love mama at all!", the little uchiha girl craweld away from toshi and hugged persephone`s leg

"...Toshi..open the door..", he was trying to awake miru who had collasp, once again in a pool of blood, only that this one was much bigger

"No, Itachi, stay with Miru! Keep her safe! Shiro-chan, come to auntie Toshi..." Toshi said, as if begging, and opening her arms to the baby.

"And then the baby doesn't want to acknowledge the mother..." Persephone muttered. "And has no mother at all. See how it feels, Naka-chan?"

Shiro cried"..t..then love mama..shes doing everything she can to stay alive for you!..", shiro cried more and toshi could see that the little baby just was afirad

"She...But...Shiro-chan..." Toshi felt her knees wobble as she spoke. "...Okaa-sama..."

"Hurts to be unloved by a person you DO love, huh?" Persephone whispered.

Shiro lifted her little hand and pattet toshi weakly on the hair"..please..open door and save...our mama.."

Toshi weakly nodded and unlocked the door, letting it swing open.

Itachi lifted his head and was holding a blood coverd miru in his arms, breathing weak but still awake"..toshi?", came her voice in a whisper

Shori looked back at persephone"m...mama not toshi..m..mama there", she said poiting at miru

"But still...Naka-chan loves Shiro so very much she wants to be one, but she just can't, can she? No matter how much she tries, Shiro will never love her how Miru does."

"O...Okaa-sama..." Toshi spluttered, wiping off her tears. "Please... I..."

"..you remeber who i am now toshi?..", miru stroke her cheek weakly"..thats good..", a faint smile came over her bloodcoverd pale face"..im happy..", her eyes closed in

Itachi watched it but sitll had a emotionless gaze"...naka..that blood transfer..do it now.."

Toshi turned to Miru, and cut her own arm with a kunai. Blood instantly flowed out. She pressed the cut to Miru's mouth, urging her to drink quickly. "Hurry, hurry...!"
