Her mother.The goddess of life.Ember was arguing with her."But...Ma...Ill go back with the same disease."

"It isnt your time.Go ahead and kill that village.They wernt good enough to be alive." Her mother argued. Ember gave a horrified look."No i mean.....They were all evil..they deserved to die..." Her mother explained. Ember looked down and shuffled her feet."But what do I say to Yuudai?"

"...nothing" came his voice, evil and emotionless. Since she left, he had been going farther into hate and despair, so his voice sounded like that...again.

Ember turned around,with a guilty look.You could tell she had been crying.Her cheeks were stained with wetness and her eyes were a teal blue.She was depressed."Yuudai...." She rubbed the back of her neck.

"Ember" he said pointing to her mother "Listen to her"

"It isnt your time." Repeated her mother."Now go back and live the rest of your life.I dont care if you refuse too."

Ember hung her head and walked out of the gates.

Yuudai stayed to talk with her mother for a bit "Mind if I talk to you for a bit?"

"Yes,Yuudai Uchiha?"

"Well, almost every girl I've met is modest. Like your daughter, she assumes a LOT. Did she ever make assumptions when you and your husband were still alive?"

"Assume what in impredictular? I was not alive when she was.Giving birth to her killed me instantly.But ive watched her,yes."

"Like...when I say something like...oh, say like, we're kissing and I pull away or show a change in emotion. Boom, she assumes I don't like it...horrible example but...that's all I could think of right now"

"Oh." Her mother nodded."She has been tromitized by when she was younger,with all the 'Its your fault' crap from her father and her demon.She was grown up 'taught'" Her mother made air quotations in the air,"that her family`s death was all her 'fault.' Thats why shes so used to blaming everything on herself."

"That explains is. Well...do you approve of me being her boyfriend?"

"Yes." She nodded."But right now Ember is scared.She is scared you do not trust her.She is scared of destroying the village,because she is afraid you will think badly of her."

"... ... Really? I want to destroy a village, because of free will. Why would I think badly of her if she destroyed a small one when I want to destroy Iwagakure?"

"Because.She is afraid of you being afraid of her.A lot of people are afraid of her."

"...again. Why would I?"

"Why wouldnt you is what she thinks."

"Come one. The only thing keeping me from staying with her when she's in demon mode is the fact that she doesn't want me there and if I refused, Nightmare would drag me out anyway. How did she get Nightmare anyway?"

"Nightmare busted through her window one day while she was locked up in her room."

"And thats how they became connected? I remember, I think once she told me that nightmare was the brother of her demon or something like that"

"Yes.Even Nightmare doesnt know how he was born.All he knew was his mission for life=Stay with Ember."

"Okay...It was nice meeting you, and I think you would've been a great mother to Ember if you were still alive. Goodbye" he said walking away.

"Goodbye.I know you will take great care of my daughter." And with that she left,in a cloud of feathers.

When Yuudai woke up he was alone again. Ember wasn't around, neither was Nightmare. So he went on to Iwa.
