Be My Valentine

Kaji spent a number of nights devising away to get Toshi back he did a number of missions and bought her chocolates, flowers, toys, costumes and he brought the Necklace, he would give everything to her on valentines day and if she wouldnt take him back he would off himself

Toshi had moved out of the Uchiha mansion, finally, and was in the Kuroda mansion with her small family and pet monkey.

That day, she was grocery shopping and was hauling big bags home, having used too much chakra on training.

Kaji had entered the Leaf Village and found the girl of his dreams hauling stuff home he tapped her on the shoulder "may I help you with those"

"Ah, really? Thank-" Toshi smiled and poked her head from around the bags to look at her helper. "...no," she said sternly, and briskly walked out.

"neh Toshi I told you It was a misunderstanding ... yuudai actually had sake with me please Toshi let me be the one" he said chasing after her

"Go away, you!" she said, huffing as she dragged the bags away. "I will never, ever trust men again...I trusted you...I thought you were different..."

" But I am ... I thought It was you" he pulled out a storage scroll "please accept these gifts I dont know anyother way to say im sorry "

"You and Tsukikobunny were in bed, making out, and I saw your hand on her big boobie!" Toshi was close to tears as she walked. "And I heard you tell her you love her!"

" I said Toshi Chan I love you ... you walked in on half of it I said i thought she was you right after I ... I kissed her and you walked in she dropped the genjutsu " he said frantically "my heart only belongs to one person and thats you Toshi Chan "

Toshi's hold faultered and she dropped her bags. "No... Gah..." She sniffed and wiped her teary eyes before bending down and pick them up.

Kaji bent down to pick her up and their hand brushed one another " let me take them and you can take everything thats in this scroll " he said extending a tiny scroll to her

"Why should I?" she huffed, picking her things up and snatching the remaining from his arms. "L...Leave..." Her voice cracked at the end and then a tear rolled down her cheek.

" would you do me one favor then Toshi just one little request " he drew a kunai and placed the point of the blade over his heart "push it forward" he said with tears in his eyes

"N-no!" Toshi dropped her bags and ran at him. But tripped and accidentally tackled him. She sat up on the ground, eyes wide. The kunai was in her stomach and she was bleeding profusely.

THis was not good he pulled the blade out and summoned all his medical know how which wasnt much he bandaged her and kept pressure on the wound as he created a clone to carry her things while he rushed with her to the Hospital " why " he whispered "it was supposed to be me"

"How many times must I tell you," Toshi muttered, her hands over his. "I'm not good enough."

" dont be stupid your the best thing to ever happen to me" he said entering the hospital with her "she tripped and fell on a kunai " he said to the nurse "I stopped what bleeding I can but im not well versed in medical jutsu...please save her" he begged as a nurse took her from him

Naka had passed out in his arms with a stupid smile on her face. Her temperature was dropping and her body was limp.

Kaji sat next to Toshis hospital bed the girl would live but it didnt make him feel anybetter "this is myfault" he muttered holding her hand ... she was sleeping soundly so she couldnt hear him

Toshi was breathing deeply. Her wound had healed and thankfully, there was no scar. She was just tired after her cells had to multiply so quickly. She held onto his hand tightly, her small fingers locked with his.

"I cant imagine life with out you Toshi ... im sorry I put you here"

Toshi blinked awake and turned her head to him, smiling weakly. "Hm? Kaji...Am I...dead?"

" no your in the hospital " he said shaking "It was supposed to be me"

"What was?" she asked weakly. Toshi sat up, wincing at the pain and clutched her sore torso. "Nnh...What happened?"

" I wanted to die and I told you to push the Kunai into my heart for me ... but you tackled me and somehow it ended up in you ... missing any major organs thankfully "
