Yuudai kind of hoped she'd wake up soon. So he could get out of this akward situation without making her sad.

She stopped breathing for a moment, but it didn't start again for moment. Shee finaly gasped and continued to sleep.

"I really wish I hadn't choaked her" he thought aloud

She opened her eyes at him, and smiled, "Me too." she whispered.

He jumped a little. "Are you feeling better?"

She coughed, spitting up blood, "No, not really. But if it makes YOU feel better, i do."

"Then rest..Hey, Kikisu...why did you want to come with me? And be truthful"

She sighed, "Because i wanted to do more with my life. Because you seemed like you could use help. Because i feel like you've become my only true friend. Stop me when you hear something you like." she said these weakly, tired of him questioning her. The last part she had blurted out.

"You're fine. Now don't talk and just rest. I need to get you some water. Can you stand?"

She stood stightly, and smiled through the pain. "Yeah, sure."

"We need to find a stream" they started searching and when he foind one he said "You neee to drink"

She sank down, and dank a sip. She started coughing up blood, but took anoiither sip.

"Drink, then rest. We need to wait until your throat is healed."

She sat down. He felt too badly for doing this to her. She wasn't as concerened as him. "Sure." she said.

"Oh, I wonder how long it'll take for you to heal"

"Yuudai, forget me. They're looking for you, not me. I'll be fine. Just get......." she started coughing uncontrollably. She tried to breath, with little success.

"No, I'm staying here until you are healed. You're my friend, and you are in pain. I'm not going to leave you like that"

She got her breathing under control. She smiled at him and hugged him. "You're too good for me."

"You're my friend, my only friend and I will keep you safe"

"What?" she asked, shocked that she was his only friend. She kissed him on the cheek.

"Yes, you are my only friend"

"Oh, wow. I would never..." she started coughing again. She took a sip of water.

When she was done he asked "You would never...what?"

"I would never have guessed." she nsaid, and started coguhing agian. She tried to get another drink.

"Yea, I am pretty lonely." he said. "Are feeling even just a little better?"
