A Random Word 4

Shiro was surprised Ishi was still there and so was Taimatsu.
Still, the elder was quick enough to move his leg to the side, only being pushed forward this was. Everything was happening quite fast, nonetheless Shiro grabbed the kunai the moment Ishi gave it to him, jumping forward to attack Taimatsu. However the elder saw it coming and grabbed Shiro's arm, pulling it, using the boy's very own movement to make him stumble to the other side. Kicking Shiro in the back Taimatsu turned to Ishi, glaring at the young man.

"So, you're still here? Well, what did I expect...", he mumbled, then started forming handseals very quickly, finally pushing his flat hand towards Ishi, touching the man's chest. This caused lashes made of fire to jump from his hand, spreading hover Ishi's body. It would keep him busy for a while, also burning the man's skin.

As Taimatsu still thought Shiro might know something, he turned to the boy again, pulling him up by his hair. "What the fuck do you know about this place, boy?!", he screamed, grabbing Shiro by his throat.

Ishi fell backwards into one of the stautes and clung onto his chest. He pulled on the neck of his shirt looking down, he seemed ok. A trick he had leard when facing strong opponents was to use his earth jutsu as a kind of sheild. As the earth created using his chakra was stronger and better at withstanding nin and thai jutsu attacks, he had done this when hiding beforehand. The earth on his chest was cracked slightly but still fairly in tact.
'Shiro needs to control himself..' He thought to himself before forming hand seals and sending blades of wind right for Taimatsu. He needed to use some fake attacks, he needed to know what Taimatsu was capable of. Trapped down here, they could be in trouble.

Taimatsu turned around slightly, pushing Shiro in front of himself. The boy was hit by the blades, gasping a little but gritting his teeth. He could barely breathe and tried to rid himself of Taimatsu's hand by cutting the elders arm, which only led to the man wrenching the kunai out of Shiro's grip.

Shiro coughed, almost choking now and panic showed in his eyes. "Tell me", Taimatsu repeated, shoving the boy against the sarcophagus again. He could not kill Shiro yet, as the boy needed to tell him what he wanted to know first. Shiro gasped for air, reaching for his throat with the hand of his unharmed arm. "I can't", he said, however he had a plan by now. Again Taimatsu jumped forward to stab him but this time Shiro backed away.

"I... I can't tell you this...", he muttered, just loud enough for Taimatsu to hear it. Of course he knew crap about the puzzle but as long as the elder thought Shiro was of use he was safe...

Ishi stared at Taimatsu watching the scene unfold. He needed Shiro out of the way before he could do anything proerly. He didnt even really want to hurt Taimatsu, not just yet. He wanted to punish him for the pain he inflicted. He wanted to torture it out of him. Of course they also needed to know about Shiro's brother. Maybe if Shiro lured him into a corner, or somewhere restricted, Ishi could trap him like he'd trapped the creature.

Taimatsu began to get angry, he half screamed at Shiro and grabbed him by the neck, throwing him into the back wall. "You have to tell me! It's incredibly important and I will get this out of you!" He seemed to have forgotten about Ishi being in the room, did he see him as no threat?
With an angered look on his face he formed hand seals and slammed his hands togther. As he did it seemed to rejuvinate the creature. His fire did not come back, but it roared and began breaking free of its bonds.

Shiro hit the wall hard, feeling like all his bones had been crushed. Still he got up, steadying himself by holding on to the wall for a moment. "Why would I tell you? You killed my parents", he said, his voice strained. He had to think of something... how could he get Taimatsu into the right situation? At least it was probably good to make him lose his temper, this was making the man incautious. "You're not worth the secret anyway", Shiro shrugged, trying to act unimpressed by Taimatsu.

Meanwhile, the big creature moved again, obviously focussing on Ishi for now. It made strange noises while moving closer, lifting his right arm to point at the man. Suddenly there was the sound of an explosion and fist-sized pieces of tar were shot at Ishi, two of them hitting the wall next to him, leaving big holes in it, two more being shot shortly after.

Ishi's face remained expressionless, although he were shocked inside. He dodged the large blocks of tar, one of them crahsing saight into the statue behind him, knocking off its head. He growled curious. Surely if he set this tar on fire; it would melt. Not fully understand how un-worldly monsters work, Ishi formed hand signs and sent a large wave of fire at the creature completely englulfing it.

Taimatsu shouted angrily once again, not even saying words. "I'M NOT WORTH IT? HOW DARE YOU. I HAVE MORE POWER THAN YOU COULD EVEN IMAGINE YOU LITTLE SHIT!" He began screaming his words, pushing Shiro into the wall repeatidly, as though he were bullying him.

Shiro raised an eyebrow as he saw the man behaving like a little boy. This was maybe going to be a lot easier than he had imagined. Waiting for a short break from the repeated shoves he kicked Taimatsu with his shin, giving him something like a sidekick. Then he jumped at the elder, wrapping his legs around his waist as he had done with Ishi when they had been in the hot springs, his arms wrapping around the elder's head. Wrenching them to the side quickly, Shiro tried to break Taimatsu's neck or at least put the man out so he would not do any harm right now, hoping the other was enraged enough to let it happen.

The creature roared again, the heat spreading quickly through its body. If it could it would probably have grinned. Moving its arm quicker than his massive figure made await he sprayed bits of hot, melted tar at Ishi, then it tried to grab the man with its huge fist to simply squash him.

"Bad idea.." Ishi murmer before quickly dodging and hiding behind one of the sarcophagus' Shrugging he formed hand seals forming a huge dome, this time completel trapping the creatre inside. He needed Manami to cool it off. 'I wonder if it'll steam like a lobster..'

Taimatsu almost completely off guard was shocked. He had not expected this from Shiro but was too quick to let himself be hurt. He stopped Shiro snapping his neck he put his arms straight infront of face stopping Shiro getting a decent grasp. He then ripped Shiro's legs from him, throwing him hard back into a wall. More angry he moved forward placing his foot on Shiro's chest and pressing down. "You're going to tell me!"

Outside the clone had been trying his best to wake Manami up. He had been looking through her bag for anything useful, all he found was the wooden instrument her grandfather had given her. What would it even do? Whilst the clone was pondering this Manami murmer and grabbed onto her head. It hurt, but she was coming round.
She couldnt quite remember what had happened. She looked around and realised where she was, "CRAP!" She jumped up, her head hurting, not completely awake yet. She waved her hands frantically at the clone of Ishi and shouted at him to get them back inside. Nodding he grabbed onto her and within seconds, they had poofed back into the staircase, a few feet away from the actual room.

Shiro cursed that man, not being able to get up immediately. His body would not do this for much longer. Sighing he looked as though he resigned. "I... I will tell you... I can't win against you", he said, bowing his had sadly. "Only one person can obtain the truth", he said, making something up. "The person needs to get on top of that... sarcophagus. It said something about... imitating the masters... it means their position. The position of the corpse inside. You'll... you'll need to guess about it", he explained, still sounding resigned. Slowly he moved next to the sarcophagus as though he was about to try it himself, taking the opportunity from Taimatsu to do it himself.

While he walked he went on talking. "This is not all", he said, trying to gain time. "You need to spread your arms... over your head, like... like a swimming frog. And hold this position. And then...", by now he had reached the sarcophagus and was about to sit down on top of it, hoping for the elder to stop him and lay down as Shiro had instructed.

Although it was not at all the time, Ishi couldnt help but laugh slightly at what Shiro was doing. If Taimatsu fell for this, this would be his favourite mission ever.

Just as he was having this thought, Taimatsu rushed forward and threw Shiro out of the way, poitioning himself as he had been told. "L-like this?" He questioned, sounding as though he genuinely beleived it. Ishi held in his laughter as he croutched down by the sarcophagus and shook his head.

Manami slowly went down the last few stairs and poked her head into the opening to see Taimatsu lying on top of a sarcophagus in a rather strange position, Shiro instructing him on things to do and Ishi croutched down chuckling to hiself, and a large dome in front of her. Quite confused she waved her arms slightly getting Ishi's attention. He smirked and motioned to her to throw him an arrow, and tried to tell her to fill the dome with water. She got the arrow bit, and rolled one across the floor, as she did so a small hole near the bottom of the dome opened up, when she felt the heat coming from it she realised what was inside. She croutched down in the opening of the doorway and formed hand signs. Blowing water into the dome as descretly as she could. Straight after Ishi made sure the dome sealed up again, causing only a slightly bit of steam to escape.

Still amused by the Taimatsu situation he scratched his face and tried to motion at his sister to trap Taimatsu if need be. A second later Ishi stood up next to the sarcophagus looming over Taimatsu as though he were a ghost. He plunged the arrow through Taimatsu's stomach sending it so deep it went slightly into sarcophagus, hopefully sticking him there.

Shiro kept talking though he creativity had almost reached its end. "Yeah, it's almost right... the arms higher, a bit... And now -", he was stopped by Taimatsu screaming in pain and surprise when Ishi stabbed him with an arrow. Shiro raised an eyebrow, desperately thinking of what to do now as this would not keep Taimatsu from forming handseals and killing all of them. Just as the elder moved, Shiro raised both hands. "No! Don't move! This... this is part of it, I'm sorry, I should've... told you... You need to spread your blood for the ritual to start...", Shiro lied, trying not to get nervous. He knew Ishi had wanted to help but he had put the two of them on the edge of death right now.

"Also, you need something wooden to keep your body in place. It's important. The arrow is wooden, it's the only thing we could think of. Now, you need to be calm. We all want to get this over with so we can at least leave...", Shiro tried to sound annoyed so Taimatsu would not get wary of the boy being so nice all of a sudden. "You see this gem?", Shiro asked but he knew Taimatsu could not see what was in his hand. Not from his position. Which was good because actually Shiro now held on to a kunai. "I need to place it onto your chest to make the energy flow through you", Shiro explained, stepping closer. His face was blank, bare of any emotion.

"You ready?", he said, then moving quickly, the motion barely visible, stabbing the kunai into Taimatsu once, then again and again. All of his hatred broke free, he was mutilating the elder's chest furiously, not even looking at where he was stabbing.

Ishi growled grabbing Shiro's hand stopping the stabbing and shouted at Manami. As Ishi was busy, she used earth jutsu to form rope-like bonds going over him at several places in his body, trapping him to the sarcophagus and making him unable to move. When done she hopped out from behind the dome and gave the two boys a curious look. "What the hell happened while I was gone..?"
Ishi took the kunai from Shiro and moved round the sarcophagus towards him, "We had a plan yano..and we don't want him dead. Not if you want to know where you brother is..and..I wanna punish him properly. Then you can have your revenge. You can do with him what you will..once i'm finished.

Shiro panted, he struggled against the bonds that held him. He wanted to kill that bastard, he wanted to finish this. Now it was him sounding like the creature, only a smaller version of it, trying to make way for all his anger and hate.

Taimatsu groaned, he was bleeding heavily. His eyes closed he had trouble breathing. How could he have been so stupid? The expectation of finding the truth had made him blind and naive enough to trust a boy whose parents he had killed... this was anything but professional.

"What do you want?!", Shiro shouted, still struggling. "That bastard shouldn't be allowed to breathe the fucking air in this room!" Taimatsu coughed up blood, he could not even sit up as the arrow kept him stuck to the sarcophagus. "Stupid boy", he groaned, grimacing at Shiro. "I've met your brother... he will despise you..." Laughing a little, though it hurt him, he turned his head to face the boy who was glaring at him. "Your brother is a good man. A man of religion." Now was Taimatsu's time to die, there was nothing left to say for him. He formed a handseal, not needing his hands to touch, then set himself on fire.

Ishi growled, throing Shiro to the ground and beginning to walk away. Manami quickly put the burning man out, but of course he was already dead. She released the jutsu, making the bonds she had put round him crumble and pulled her arrow from his body, then kicked him of the sarcophagus. Feelin guitly she ripped a part of her shirt and began wiping down the sarcophagus, ignoring everyone else. Ishi put his ear to the dome he had trapped the creature in. It was silent. Assuming the monster had gone when Taimatsu had died, he too released his jutsu, the dome crumbling. Nothing inside but spots are now hardened tar.

Shiro let himself drop down to his knees, he was angry but tried to calm himself. Taimatsu was dead - but still, he had killed himself, not giving the boy the satisfaction of finishing the elder off. Also, they knew nothing about his brother now... Almost nothing. By now, Shiro started feeling the pain of the stab wounds Taimatsu had inflicted to his arms, also being thrown against the walls had left its marks.

"I screwed up... again", Shiro mumbled, leaning his forehead against the cool sidewall of the sarcophagus in front of him. This had been his one and only chance to do something good. And he missed it.

Sighing, Ishi sat down on the first step in the doorway and put his head into his hands. He stayed quiet, gathering his thoughts, rubbing his temple to try and make his head feel a little better.

Manami contiued to wipe down the sarcophagus. cleaning it of blood. She felt as though they'd done a terrible thing, defiling this man's grave. Once she was done, she too sat down on the floor where she had stood. She creased her brow, slightly annoyed at how this had all turned out. As she sat she thought about the puzzle key on the sarcophagus, she knew if she thought about it she could get it open, but now was not the time. She began rakeing through her brain for anywhere nearby where they could find religious people.

After a while Shiro sighed disappointed and frustrated. Getting up he left the room, he needed fresh air to free his head. Taimatsu's words resonated in his thoughts, not letting Shiro get any rest. Probably the elder was right... Shiro's brother would be disappointed of the boy, maybe actually despise him for the things he had done. And for letting their parents' murderer get away... Though Taimatsu was dead, it upset Shiro that the man chose to die instead of being killed.

Outside Shiro lay down next to the pedestal, his arm hurt badly and so did his back. He would be one walking bruise by tomorrow at the latest...

Tomorrow. What would he do? How could he go on?
Maybe he should not even try to search for his brother...
It was better for both of them.

After Shiro had left Ishi stood up and walked over to Manami smirking, slighty amused at how she had cleaned up, yet kicked the body away. "I wanted to punish him...that bastard should have payed for what he did to us..he should have felt pain worse than what he put it through...make no mistake..I will punish him in hell."

Manami looked up at her brother and giggled slightly, getting up to hug him. "You're so serious..pain comes with the teritory..and..I have some ideas about where to go next.." She trailed off heading up to the stairway and back outside.
Ishi nodded grabbing the body of Taimatsu by his hair and dragging him across the floor and outside with him.

When Ishi came out, Shiro got to look at the dead body he was dragging. "Oh... did I... do that?", Shiro asked, pointing at the several stab-wounds on the man's half-burned chest. "And still I didn't kill him... fuck it..."

Sighing Shiro sat up, flinching when he put weight on his injured arm. "We're... done then, right?", he asked, not sure whether Ishi and Manami intended to stay with him. After all Shiro had pretty much screwed up again - at least that was what he kept telling himself - and also they were non the wiser about his brother's whereabouts.

Ishi didnt answer, he simpley kept walking dragging the body heading towards a wooded area. Manami sighed looking down Shiro. "No...we haven't found your brother yet. I wanna check out the churches in the area, see if we can find anything." She bit her lip seeming a bit tense and began following Ishi. Usually she would wave Shiro to follow, but she thought she'd leave him there for a bit, afterall it was up to him if he carried on with them.
They planned to do what they set out to do, Shiro with them or not.

Shiro stayed for a moment, then ripping a piece of cloth from his shirt he tied it around his arm to stop it from bleeding and got up to follow them. "I still can't understand you...", he mumbled, when he hat caught up with Manami, both of them walking a good distance away from Ishi. "I messed up again, still you want to help me. I bet if it wasn't for you Ishi would've gone home long before. Not only because of... you know. But especially now. He seems to be even more angry than before..." Shiro could not help but sounding sad for a very personal reason.

"Also... also I don't know whether we should be searching for my brother", he added after a while. "I bet that guy was right... he wouldn't want me to find him. I wouldn't do him any good."

Manami spoke with a kind of hurt in her voice, "We're helping you because we said we would. We made that pormice as shinobi, and we'll do it. Even if you don't trust us as people..you have to trust us as ninja. That's why Ishi's mad now.." She shook her head, sighing. "We're going to find your brother..even if you don't want us to..even if he hates you..if he's an absolute twat..it'll help you move on." Sighing once again, she sped up to catch up with Ishi who had reached the woods.

He'd thrown the body onto the floor into a kind of dip in the land and began forming hand seals. "You wanted to burn.."

Shiro sighed, not sure whether he was supposed to be glad or frustrated. He closed up to the other two, still staying behind a little bit and jumping back another good distance when Ishi set Taimatsu's body on fire. When he had calmed himself down again, he tried to move closer at least a bit.

"Manami...", he mumbled, not daring to address Ishi, "... why are we searching in Yu? I mean... I'm from Suna, originally... Don't you think he'd be close to where we lived?" He sounded abashed, as though he feared he did something insanely wrong to question her decision.

Manami shrugged, "We're here. Taimatsu was here...this weird ritual ground is here..this place has churches and sorta people with weird beliefs...we may as well at least ask around before we head home. Then we'll search there. How pissed off would we be if we went home then found out we needed to be back here..."

Ishi stood simply staring at the burning body of Taimatsu. It smelt awful, but for some reason it was making him feel better to see the man burn. The fire burned him extremely quickly and when he was gone, slowly started to burn out, some of the fire catching onto the wood and grass on the floor. When he was sure the body was gone, he stamped out the fire and turned to face Manami and Shiro.

"Guess you're right", Shiro mumbled, feeling stupid. He did not want Ishi to look at him. He wanted to hide somewhere and feel bad. Maybe get drunk, take some pills... Something he was used to. "Where will we start?", he asked after a while, willing to simply follow Manami and await her orders so he would not make a mistake this time.

"What... if he really hates me? Maybe he... maybe he really is a good person after all... it's not good for him to be associated with someone like me", Shiro said, nervousness written all over his face and tone of voice. He did not want to be rejected. He was horribly afraid of it.
