Breaking out of Level 9 (MARTYR AND NAKA)

Chains ripped from under the ground and snaked up the man's leg. The chain soon encompassed the man, Martyr started laughing hysterically as he tightened the chain around the farmer's body, he stopped laughing for a moment "all I wanted to do was play?" He started laughing again as the chain tightened, the farmer coughed up blood and suddenly the chains stole all life for him. He laughed as he dragged the body 6 feet under. He had stopped laughing as soon as his prey died, he was picking something up... he ducked as a kunai flew past him, it thudded to the ground and he heard... sizzling? The kunai exploded, Martyr was knocked backwards as group of Anbu emerged from the forest; in attack formation. He turned 180 degrees and flipped back, while he flipped he performed a jutsu. Chains snaked from the ground grabbing the closest Anbu, the chains impaled and expanded throughout their bodies. A chain exploded some earth in front of them one dodged, he used the earth in the air for his chains. They attempted to find their way towards their target... he threw a bolt of lightning towards one of the chains, when it made contact the lightning arced, towards the chains underneath the earth the ground lit up and an Anbu was gruesomely zapped by the lightning his bones turned to ashes as his flesh melted away. The last anbu was upon him now, he blocked the sword with his mace. He swung left to right attempting to smash the man's face in. It was dodged, he fought the man for a few minutes before his foe fell to his ground with broken bones. A chain impaled his heart that would never beat again.

He turned around and started walking from the bloodied field when the field lit up, the Hokage was there herself! And only the most elite of her ninja. She declared Martyr's arrest, "Mabram Junkyousha, as an internationally wanted criminal we're arresting you!" she pointed. That must've been the signal as she charged, they closed on him in a few seconds. She pummeled the ground. I jumped, her Anbu were there, chains launched from my hands to be deflected away easily. His knees felt weak, and he looked down. The Tsuchikage himself had grabbed him and kept him within the writing on the ground. He buckled and fell to the ground, the seal sucked up his chakra and he passed out.

Fifteen hours later...

"Tsuchikage-sama, Hokage-sama. We're sealing him now." One of the prison's guards said, the two kages nodded and entered the room. Only the head was shown the rest of his body was underground, a circle with a diameter of 5 meters surrounded him. It was the sealing script, the place the soul would be forced out of and travel too. Martyr struggled his head, he stopped when he saw them. "The Tsuchikage himself, finally decided to look at me," his eyes flicked to the Hokage, "and the little b*tch herself." He laughed.

"The problem you've caused ends here." The Tsuchikage stated plainly.
"You'll be forced to suffer for the rest of eternity." The Hokage stated smugly.
"Begin the sealing, process." They said in union. They turned their backs and exited the room. They started their ritual chant.
"This cell won't hold me forever, I will." Martyr laughed, "I will escape." He promised, he laughed ominously as the Kages exited the room. Those final words would give them nightmares for the next few weeks...

Two years later....

"AUNTY DEIDEI!" A little girl called out, looking around. Her blond, bomber chaperone was out of sight. Again. "AUNTY DEIDEI!" She huffed and ran around, searching for him. But then she tripped and fell over something in the ground. "Ack!"

The little girl tripped on the door handle, the writing on it read: レベル１に最高警備の刑務所を魅了してください (Entrance to level 1 maximum security prison). The handle had writing on itself, it looked like a tombstone. A seal was written on the handle. It read a date, it would expire the next day; the one day people were allowed to enter and exit...

Toshi tilted her head in curiousity. It was night time, almost midnight. Would the door open later? Timidly, she tugged. Then she pulled. Then tried hauling. But it wouldn't budge. Curiousity ate at her. She sat there patiently, staring at the handle. Waiting.

The door suddenly opened, a group of men walked out laughing. "Free at last, two years of guarding prisoners is hell eh?" He laughed slapping his friend on the back, "so how're you gonna spend your new fortune?"
"Eh, probably on that bar I've been telling you about." They both laughed.
"Well if its a bar, you should let me drink for fr-" he turned his head and looked at the girl. His friend looked too, more laughs came from down the hall. They were talking about the others who signed contracts for the prison, they started piling up staring at the girl.

At the end of the line came a woman with long black hair. She pushed the men over, and started yelling when she turned her head to the girl, she was the first to speak to her. "Oh hello there." She smiled using her friendly voice, "so where is mommy and daddy?"

"Hm? Mommy died giving birth to me and daddy died too," she said, looking up at her. "What's in there?" she asked innocently, pointing down the hall. "Can I come in?"

One of the men squatted next to her blocking the woman, "lotsa scary monsters! And bad men too! They start rising from the ground to eat little girls who are alone like you!" They all started laughing, the woman hit him in the back of the head, "BAKA!"
"But its true." He complained. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Just get moving!" she ordered.
Everyone started moving away terrified. Once they were gone, she started talking to the girl again. "So, why are you out here?" She smiled kindly.

"I was looking for herbs with my aunty, but he disappeared," she said. "I'll find him soon, though!" Aunty Deidei, being Deidara, was male. But she liked giving him the nickname anyway.

"You're a strange girl." She commented, "I'll wait with you while you wait for your Aunty." She smiled, "so tell me about yourself."

"Ummmm, I'm eleven and a quarter, I like chicken pie and chocolate milk and sugar and um... I live with my guardian," she said, smiling. "Aunty is probably in town drinking sake by now."

"Lets go take you to this auntie of yours, kay?" She asked, rubbing the little girls head. She stood up, "you ready to leave?" She started walking towards the nearest town. She stopped and looked back, "you coming?"

Toshi thought for a bit and shook her head. "Nah, it's okay. Imma big girl, I can take care of myself!" she said, and picked up a basket she had brought. "I think I'll go find some more herbs and plants."

The lady smiled, "that's right you're a big girl." She stood up, "well I will be going to town. Don't stay out too late." The lady turned around and started walking in the direction of town.

"Okay! Bye bye!" she called out.

- three seconds later -

"Go in. Wait. No! Wait, but...but...go? No! Toshi is a good girl! Go? Um...um...uh..." Toshi paced back and forth in front of the door, stressed out. The curiousity ate at her. Then she gulped and dropped a kunai in. It landed with a few tinks.

"Oopsie," she said, climbing in. "I dropped my stuff. Mmm...might as well look around." She grinned and started exploring.

"Aw... come on guys thats not funny." A guardian ninja said as he hiked up the dark stairs, "can't just ditch me-" he heard footsteps, "who's there?" He asked tanto out first. He took a few steps forward, quiet and slowly.

Toshi turned a corner and was shocked. They said there were monsters and bad men down there. "Ack!" And from pure reflex, she summoned her mighty mallet, Mr. Smiley, and knocked him unconcious.

She poked him witi her foot. "Oh- GOMEN!"

She gulped and ventured forward. Then she came to a white reception room, with a table in the middle and two doors on each side on the wall behind it. Toshi tilted her head and entered a slightly ajar door.

The receptionist, wearing a leaf headband had long jet black hair tied up in a ponytail, immediately shot up, "no sir, I wasn't sleeping." He looked around for a moment, "oh you must be one of the new recruits." He yawned and rubbed his eyes, he crossed his arms and placed them on the desk, his chin soon followed. "Jus... Just wait for everyone else." The receptionist closed his eyes, "I'll give you a mini tour." He pointed to the door behind him, "this is the prison where we keep the criminals. Over there is the mess hall, in the mess the sleeping quarters are a room above, should be a ladder in the far corn-" He stopped, his eyes staring out across the room into the corner. He started snoring...

Toshi was pretty curious. She wanted to know what was inside. She quietly slipped into the prison and looked around.

The room she entered a sign was hanging in middle of the room, it read: WARNING: TRAPS AND SEALS BEYOND THIS POINT MAY KILL OR SEAL YOU AWAY. PROCEED WITH CAUTION OR THE KEY.

Behind the sign lay two earth statues, who may have once been a prison guard and prisoner. A man with a seal (note: the key is under the seal) that covered his entire back was using a fishing line to pull the bodies out, "poor bastards, this one escaped from his cell." He said without looking back, "and the rookie chased him." He pointed to the body he was hauling out.

Toshi looked up and read it and tilted her head. Was this an obstacle game? Sugoi!

She heard the sound of a voice and squeaked. Before realizing it, she had knocked him out too. "Gomen gomen gomen," she whimpered, backing away near where he was avoiding entering.

Martyr stopped struggling for a moment, as he felt a new presence. A young one, easy to guide. He closed his eyes and let his thoughts drift, he pushed her onwards down the depths of hell. His presence now behind her he silently watched and whispered in her ear, "go. The bottom of this prison." The air became chill around her every time he spoke. Reaching his limits his presence was instantly forced back into the pebble. He continued struggling against his cage.

As if hypnotised, Toshi walked to where she was told, her legs moving on her own. She took turns she didn't know, but felt as if she knew where to go. And then she was there. "Hello?" she squeaked.

Martyr manifested himself in a ghastly figure. "Push, the pebble into the center of the circle." His voice rasped, he started laughing. He disappeared and appeared behind her, his indefinite shape leaned to her ear. "Come on, a little faster. Please?" His crazed voice spoke, "I promise I won't hurt you. Hehe."

"Ah, b-but I..." But she did. Toshi ran ahead and timidly inserted the pebble. Something cold and uncomfortable dropped in her gut as she backed away. What had she done?

The sound of grinding metal rang throughout the chamber. The black ink that was sealing him in the floor flashed red, steam rose from the seal. Alarms outside rang loud and clear. The earth shifted beneath Toshi's feet, cold air quickly rushed to the epicenter of the event. A hand shot out of the ground, another one. They soon clawed their way free, the earth gave way to a head. Once the head reached the air, everything seemed to stop. The ghastly figure that had been influencing Toshi, was screaming as it temporarily appeared above the body. The body was rejecting the soul that tried to enter, suddenly the screaming stopped. The body smiled, "thank you for freeing me from my prison, child." He started laughing, "now I can kill that b*tch Hokage. And my beloved Tsuchikage."

His hands turned to chains as they shot into the ceiling, the chains started retracting pulling Martyr out of the ground. Once he was completely free he walked towards the barrier sealing the chamber, he placed a hand on it. With a sizzle the rock exploded, he looked back. "Coming?"

He swung around the corner and walking past each chamber the boom of lightning and then dead silence. The demon reached the stairs and looked up, guards had already amassed on the stairs. Martyr threw his hand up and chains shot out from around his wrist, he continued killing the guards. Few of which put up any effort, at every chance he used lightning to overcharge the power gird, it caused explosions far off. As he continued up the levels the explosions came closer...
