Hot Evening (open)

"I should have known you did. Listen, kid. I'm about done taking shit from you. Just, go away. I don't do this every time I see a pretty girl. You're just saying that so she'll overhear and think I'm a bad guy." Mizuki replied, his voice not rising, but staying at an angry, base tone.

Gwen finally found her clothes and gathered them up in her arms . She stood in a corner and watched the two men argue.

Alroth turned to Gwen, bowwed and whispered. "I'm sorry for all of this." He took off into the village, tears forming in his eyes. His skin had returned to it's normal color and his eyes as well. "Now what do I do."

"I know this is awkward, considering what he just said, but would you like me to escort you home? You seem a little tipsy, and I don't want a creep taking advantage of you." Mizuki offered to Gwen, forming handseals as he did, leaking ice like vapor which turned into a solid clone of himself. The clone ran off to find Alroth.

Gwen rubbed her stomach."Mizuki, I'm sorry. I should have told you both I was a guy and....I don't....feel good." She turned around and threw up. Gwen fell to her knees and shook. No more drinking...ever!

"Err, right. Let me help you home anyway, 'bro'." Mizuki chuckled, attempting to help Gwen back onto her feet. "You look pretty sick right now."

Alroth had wandered into a small food stand and order a bowl of ramen. He ate slowly and quietly and he held back his tears. He had just lost his only true friend. He had never made any promise to Misaki, he had made that up to get under Mizuki's skin, but now he was alone. "Mom, Dad, what should I do." He whispered as a teardrop fell into his soup.

Gwen nodded her head in agreement,"My house is pink, down that street." She pointed to the direction of her house,"It's pink.." She repeated, letting him help her.

Mizuki's clone entered the shop, sitting next to him. "You okay, kid?" The clone asked, attempting to throw an arm over him in a brotherly way. "Why you cryin'?"

The real Mizuki helped Gwen to her house. "Ya know, if you're really a guy, I think I can set you up with Alroth..~"

Gwen frowned,"But I'm pure woman!" She opened her front door and entered,"Your welcome to come inside if you like." She then turned around and hurried to the bathroom.

Another teardrop fell from Alroth's face. "I'm just thinking about mom and dad." Alroth whispered. "I still miss them." He turned to face the clone. "and the village. Do you miss the village, even a little?"

"A little bit, but we had sucky weather." The clone replied, taking his arm off his shoulders. "You didn't need to come, I can take care of myself, ya know." He asked in a soothing tone. Not the best time to ask, but he was curious

"I never made that promise to Misaki. And I came because I wanted to go see the world." Alroth replied. "But I wouldn't of been able to do it alone. I'm such a little weakling." Alroth looked at the ground.

"You're not weak, you probably could have done that on your own, probably." The clone replied with a little grin.

"I guess this is your way of pushing me away huh." Alroth wiped the tears from his eyes. "If thats the case then I think I'm going to go back home first. I want to visit Mom and Dad one last time."

"Mmh, fine. Meet me in Konoha in a week or so." The clone scribbled the address of a tavern outside the leaf onto a napkin. "See you around." The clone said, fading into nothing but cold mist.

"You better bring that girl with you. If you hurt her, I'll kick your ass." Alroth whispered as the ice clone disappered. He payed for his food and walked out of the hut and made his way for Konoha.
