Lazy and Jealous

Over the last couple centuries Envy began to believe that killing his toys was to merciful. So instead he crippled them for life or at least make their last minutes of live the worst they ever had. After a couple of the guard were bleeding and immobile Envy went into a few of the cells to torture the inmates. Two cells were enough to satisfy him. He would just infect the rest with his spore he let off every so often. His sister probably wanted her fun too. So he busted out of the jail and started fling her. “Where would you like to go?” He asked.

"Mmmmm let's go to the control room," Sloth said eagerly. "And release all the inmates and wake up all the guards before we go. That'd be interesting, don't you think?" Sloth always did find breakouts fun. It all started when she watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. The scene with Bellatrix breaking out just made her go =0

“Don’t worry big sis, I have it all planned out. Let’s just focus on getting you home” He said as he continued to carry her on his back.

"Well okay brother. Thanks for taking care of me, though. I know I can be a burden, but I never mean to, and never to you." Sloth snuggled her head against his shoulder as he gave her a piggy back ride back home. They didn't talk much, nor were they that close. But they were siblings, and he had been there with her the whole way.

They got to the safe house and Envy let Sloth of his back. He could now revert back to his normal self. He then gave a sigh. He need more fun.

Sloth looked at her bored brother and looked down sadly. He was bored, and she knew she should try to cheer him up some way. But how? How was she supposed to cheer up someone she hadn't seen in years? "Sooo...is there anything you want to do?" Not the best choice of words, but the only ones she knew. Dammit, she really had no people skills.

“I have something in mind” He said as he entered the house. There had to be some rodents or spider he could torture. He started to look for any living thing in the house other then his sister.

"Well, okay. You can play with my dolls if you want. They have tracker abilities, if you want to use them for hunting or anything." Sloth took his elbow and led him to the bedroom. She pulled out a scroll from her bag and laid it on the bed - It was so big it almost covered the blanket. She bit her finger and smeared the sacrificial blood on the paper. Then there was a familiar poof, and a few bodies appeared. They were human, but stuffed. It was as if they were fresh zombies, or such. Sloth smiled at her brother. "I found them wanting to die, so I killed them. Then I made them into my dolls." One of them, a woman, looked at him with blank eyes and held out her hand. "Shake!" Sloth said happily.

“They’re not as good as the real thing. I think I’ll pass” He said in disappointment. What was the use if his victims weren’t alive to feel the pain? He laid himself on the couch. All the transformations he done today had worn him out.

"Awww, okay. There's a club near here, and it's usually packed in the early hours. I'll take you there later if you want. Good night, brother." Sloth dismissed the many bodies, then went over to the couch and tucked a pillow under his head. She smiled and kissed his forehead goodnight. It was rare Sloth did so much extra effort, but this was her brother. Of course she would take care of him.

Envy hated sleep even though it was necessary. His nights were always filled with terrible nightmares. It ranged from him burning in a fiery pit to chasing an apple that was running away from him. In every nightmare there was humans, a crowd of them mocking and laughing at him. Every time he tried to stop their laughing his attempts would fail and they would laugh even more. He slept uneasily on the couch that night, rolling violently from time to time.

Sloth stayed by him the whole time. She knew she had to stop his suffering somehow, to stop his pain, but she didn't know how. He had always been like this, since they were still fresh children, but she knew that he had to sleep sometime and those dreams were inevitable. All she could do was stay by his side and wait for him to be released from the night bonds. When he almost rolled off the couch, she sat next to him and rolled him back in place, kept tucking him in, fixing his pillow.

This nightmare was a petty terrible one. His feet were tied as he was dangling from a bridge. He was whipped by an unknown tormentor while humans were laughing at him from above. “NO” he yelled as he sat up. His own shouting had woken him up. He was filled with grief. He clenched his fist and started punching his pillow but not to much avail. He was so upset that he didn’t even notice Sloth next to him.

"Envy? Brother? Brother!" Sloth moved over and steadied him as he flailed around, narrowly missing his right hook. Knowing how powerful he was, she was careful not to get in his range. She had experienced a broken jaw, and did not want to re-live it. "Brother, it's me," she whispered gently, holding onto his wrists. "It's me, Sloth, your sister. You're safe, you're safe. Don't worry."

He stopped when Sloth grabbed his wrist and burst into tears. “Why, Why me?” He said. He wiped some of his tears and looked at Sloth. “Have I ever told you? What I want most in this world? What every single living thing has but me.”

"I don't know, you've never told me. So tell me now." Sloth took a seat next to him and hugged him gently, loose enough that he could move a little but tight enough that he wouldn't go crazy and try to hit her again. She rubbed his back soothingly and kissed his forehead, trying to calm him down. "What do you want most in this world, brother? Can I help you get it?"

He shook his head no. “In the end, what every living creature in this world has but me is………….they have an end.” There he got it off his chest. He just told his sister he wished to die.

"....Oh." He wanted an end. He wanted to die. She wouldn't be able to do that. What he wanted was the opposite of what she wanted. Sloth blinked and then hugged him tighter. It's what he wants, she thought. "Brother, I ...I don't think I can do that for you. But I promise, I will support you if you do try to go after it."

“That’s just it, there’s no point in going after it. The closest thing to death is when this miserable body fails on me in which case a new one would be in it’s place. Every living thing gets to leave this hell hole of a world while I stay to suffer. So while they’re here, I’ll make their lives miserable just as they have made mine.” He got out of her hug and stood up. He needed to torture something and he needed it NOW.

He had always been pessimistic, but not everyone could lie to oneself as she had learned to. Sloth had been young, old, male, female. S/he had tried to get as much out of life as she could, though it was tiring to do so. But it was the only way she could think of to stop herself from going crazy and wanting to die too. She smiled wryly at Envy. "Okay, let's go to the shady club a few blocks away. There are always new sheep there."

“Lead the way sis.” He said. He was going to party tonight or die tring.

"Alright, put this on." Sloth tossed him a fresh set of clothing. The ones he was wearing were caked with dry blood, and the way he smelled, it was like they were in a barn. "And take a shower. I'll be waiting for you by the door."

Envy did what he was told though he really wanted to go to the club. He undressed and started taking a shower. It was probably going to take awhile so he was probably going to keep Sloth waiting for a while. But hey, she’s Sloth, she’ll most likely find something to entertain herself as she sat around waiting.

"Hehe...heh." Sloth pulled the big black trunk from under the bed. She always made it a habit to take along some weapons when she left the safety of Skit's home, just in case. People don't really like her for some reason. Maybe it was her taxidermy ways? Oh well. She started to pull out some blunt, bludgeon-style weapons, since she knew he wanted to torture some people for a while. "Brother? Are you done yet?"

Just as she said that, Envy was getting out of the shower and drying off. “Just give me a minute” He yelled across the rooms. Once he dried off he started getting on the clothes his sister gave him. They were a bit small but there was a way to change that. He just shrank his height and width a bit. “That’s better” he said out loud to himself.
