Silent Grass

“If you haven’t noticed we’re in the middle of the dessert. But suit yourself.” He then touched the blade tilting it a bit. A door melted at the side of the igloo.

Nagiko walked out and started looking for something more suited to him even a cave would do.

Tsukiakara’s mission was not to babysit genin from the Grass Village. He was just there to deliver the goods. He gave a sigh and sealed the door with ice again. He was going to have a nice conversation but oh well, rest was good too.

Nagiko soon found a nice tunnel to sleep in it almost looked man made Nagiko curled up and went to sleep.

Tsukiakara was laying there on his the sand below him. He was peacefully dreaming about the days before his clan was wiped out. In this dream he was 6 again and he was playing with his mommy and daddy.

Nagiko kept sleeping.

Tsukiakara awake again in the afternoon of the next day. His charka levels felt much better and he was ready to hit the road again. There was just one problem, Nagiko. Where ever that boy ran off too he wasn’t back yet. Tsukiakara was going to give him a few hours but if he wasn’t here by then he was going to leave without him.

Nagiko soon awoke and got up and ran out of the tunnel seeing that it was afternoon and he soon came back to Tsukiakara and said " sorry I am used to sleeping leater than this." Nagiko said he felt a lot better.

“Oh well, let just keep moving.” Tsukiakara said. He got back into the wagon pulling positioned and well…started pulling.

Nagiko followed listening for anybody following.

The path was quite, almost too quite. Tsukiakara didn’t like it. They should have been followed by now or at least ambushed. Tsukiakara quickly scanned the area. The thieves were out there all right, he could sense it, but they weren’t attacking. It was almost like they were letting Tsukiakara and Nagiko pass through.

Soon Nagiko sensed a kunia going through the air and jumped in front of Tsukiakara but was stabbed in the shoulder but he shielded Tsukiakara.

It was just one kunai from just one person. There were more out there, Tsukiakara was sure of it, but only one was attacking. The one that attacked popped out of the sand in the same fashion that the bandits that attacked Nagiko from earlier did. This one wasn’t with them at the time they attack Nagiko as he was recently add. He was a noob and didn’t quite understand why the others were hesitant to attack. “Come on, the cart is loaded with money” He yelled out. But the others didn’t respond and kept hiding not wanting to attack.

Nagiko pulled the kunia out of his shoulder and got up and said " why would they when what happened last time." Nagiko said taking out a kunia and getting into defense position.

The others in the sand just stayed there not attacking. The stupid recuit was just going to get himself kill they thought. “I don’t know what your talking about but those goods are mine.” The young thief said rushing straight toward them not know how knee deep in shit he was in. The others just rolled their eyes and watched knowing it was going to be over soon and that Grass ninja would leave so they could pick off a cart that they could actually take.

Nagiko aimed to stabed the theif in the heart aiming to kill him quickly.

Nagiko’s attack did what it was meant to do and the thief lay there died. The others still stayed hidden not wanting to end up the same way.

Nagiko then said "shall we continue." Nagiko said.

“Sure but why did you kill him.” Tsukiakara asked not really liking to kill people unless he had too.

"Cause this is the same gang that tried mugging me before the sand found me." Nagiko said.

Tsukaikara continued to push the wagon onward as they conversed. “So what’s your story?” Tsukiakara said trying to learn more about the boy’s past.

"I was born in the leaf but because of my families jutsu's the leaf decided it was safer for all villages to destroy my family so thats what they attempted to do they succeded in killing my parents but I got away and ran into the forest near the leaf and lived there till I was about 10 years old and then a grass ninja found me fought me and saw how good I was and invited me to join the grass thats why I have this leaf headband under my grass I have no clan bloodlines left all we're killed but me by the leaf i'm still wanted there I can never return to that village." Nagiko said choking it all out grief sorrow and hurt all mixed in his voice and all of that was pianful to hear it sounded horrible and pitiful.

“hmm” Tsukiakara said as he listen. It was a pretty good story. Tsukiakara had one of those but it would have been rude if he was just blurt it out while he was in the middle of his.

" I miss my family all though I can't remember what they looked like I still would like to see them again that's why I'm going to make the leaf village pay nomatter what I won't let anyone appose me if they do.... I'll kill them." Nagiko said with anger and seriousness.

“Killing the leaf won’t get your parents back you now.” Tsukiakara said speaking from personal experience. “When you seek your revenge you’ll kill others parents and leave them feeling the exact same pain. 5 year olds crying every night just because you wanted revenge. Trust me, revenge doesn’t work.” Tsukiakara said very seriously at the last sentence.
