GL Recruitment Test - Jace

A slight breeze ran over the rolling hills of the Rice Field Country, and Kihaku was leant against a wall of a bridge, just outside of the Village of Sound. This whole territory was new to him; he'd never had a mission here, nor had he travelled here for his own reasons. It seemed peaceful, a quiet farmland after the influence of Orochimaru's ninja group had passed. Apparently, some sort of order had been restored after the War, since there were less rumours of thievery and other gang crimes from the previously unlawful Village. Still, Kihaku was on guard for any unwanted appearances.
He was waiting for one person in particular. The latest recruit on the list, Jace, who originated from the Hidden Sound. The letter had gone out a few days ago, requesting that he rendezvous with Kihaku on this bridge outside the main Village at noon of this day. Looking up, the sun was almost at its peak; Jace should be arriving soon.

Jace saw the man has was looking for and closed his eyes, Opening them his eyes had turned purple. They guaged the mans chakra. Jace smirked and Made a quick hand sign. He appeared beside kihaku leaning against the bridge as if he had been there for a long time. Jace yawned and streched "Looking for me? Im jace by the way. I assume it was your letter i got"

Glancing up towards the newcomer, hand automatically going to the hilt of his blade before settling as he realised this was the expected recruit, Kihaku smiled in greeting. "Thank you for meeting me here, Jace. If you'd like to follow me, I'll explain the test."
As they walked, Kihkau recited off the rant of information about the test that he had given several times before to the recruit. Once he'd finished, he transported the two of them to the first terrain, the open field empty of trees, rocks and all other such items. "If there are no questions, please begin."

Jace nodded as he listened, It felt weird being trasported. He smirked though was he was told to start. Jace ran at Kihaku and reached in his pouch. He grabbed for some dirt he had put in there before he came. Jace smirked and threw the dirt into Kihaku's eyes jumping over him he made a hand sign while in the air he landed and shot two water bullets at Kihaku's knees hoping to take them out from under him. hile the water was going at him jace drew two Kunai's aiming one at Kihaku's exposed back of his head keeping the other on his hand he threw it aiming at the loop the tags were on

Kihaku was mildly taken aback by the thrown dirt, but it did nothing to obscure his sight; his mechanical eyes were far more efficient than biological ones. He quickly deflected the bullets with his blades and swung one up behind his head to parry the kunai aimed there. His other sword moved down to attack Jace's extended forearm, which held the kunai being used to remove the tags. "Your moves are swift, and your use of distraction is... well, amusing, but efficient. To anyone but me, of course." Jace would either move his arm back or be forced to drop or misaim the kunai when the blade cut him. Either way, his attack was defected. Finally, Kihaku swung his armoured leg round in a rapid kick towards the side of Jace's head.

Jace dropped his arm letting it go limp and ducked up under kihaku's leg. He smirked and let his hands from to the ground, He aimed a kick at kihaku's chin, Similar to the kohana's ninja Rock lee. Jace used one hand to make the hand sign and aimed another round of water bullets one towards kihaku's face and one for the tags. He had hoped the either his foot or water bullets would hit and even if they didn't he had hoped that kihaku would be too distracted to dodge the bullet that would knock the tags loose.

Kihaku let himself fall backwards, Jace's foot whistling past him by a few inches and soon after the bullet, hands hitting the ground in a crab-position, and pushing his legs up as he flipped over. He aimed a swift kick up under Jace's face as his legs flew up, and when he hit vertical position he forced chakra from his palms and sprung up into the air, upside down. His arm took the force of the water bullet impacted on his arm, leaving it shakey, so his take off was slightly off kilter. He planned to draw his weapon but at this angle he would hit the ground too fast. Instead he flicked through handsigns and shot several chakra blades down at the Jace and the ground at high speed. From this distance, they would hit in no time at all. The force of the shots pushed Kihaku slightly higher, enough for him to draw before hitting the ground, falling into stance once more.

Jace growled and took the kick, It broke his nose. As blood pool on his face he closed his eyes. as kihaku jumped in the air he watched the hand signs. Coping them perfectly. He summoned his own blades, a perfect copy of Kihaku's jutsu. Moving out of the way of the blades Kihaku through by using chakra in his feet. Jace fired off his own blades forcing more chakra in them to make them faster, There wasnt many chanced to dodge. Coughed when he landed his nose still hurting

The surprise of have his own attack used against him caught him too offguard for him to avoid the attack. Instead, he shielded his head with his swords and took the force of the attack on his armour, falling backwards. He felt his ribs shatter in his chest and channelled chakra to the area to avoid the shredding of anything vital. Well, he thought to himself, now we know what it's like on the receiving side of that. Securing his ribs enough that he could still fight on, Kihaku stood up, breathing heavily. That was uncool. Seriously.
Now he was pissed. As the nanites in his blood worked to fix his ribs, he sheathed his swords and flicked through several handsigns. Then, he knelt (painfully) and pressed his hand to the floor. "Kuchiyose no jutsu!" he shouted, and throw the resulting smoke appeared a large grey wolf, the size of a small bear, teeth bared. Blue markings drifted over her fur; Sasha-chan was capable of using immateriality jutsu almost as well as Kihaku. He had trained her well. Next, he slipped into immateriality and let the nanites do their work. It would be awhile before he could effectively fight. "Sasha-chan, fight," he ordered, and the wolf shot forwards, snapping at Jace's limbs and throat.

Jace looked at the wolf. "Nice puppy. Down puppy" WHen that idea didn't work jace started fighting back. He had an idea, Grabbing a kunai jace flicked through his own Hand signed. He shot more water bullets. aiming for the wolfs eyes. firing off ten shots this jace jace ran forward using chakra in the soles of his feet to move faster. He ducked and headbutted the wolf under the jaw aiming his Kunai for the underside of the wolfs mouth hoping to close its mouth for good.

As the water bullets shot towards Sasha, she instinctively dodged to the side each time; her training had made this muscle memory by this point. The few that caught her flank caused her to howl in pain but she kept her movements going. As she did so, chakra began to leak from her body, and she began to rotate, faster and faster until she was little but a horizontal cyclone of fur and claws. "Sasha, Wolf-style Gale Barrage!" Kihaku ordered, releasing a technique in Sasha. Her claws extended tenfold, glowing blue as the blades that Kihaku used in his attacks, and began shooting off in all directions. The earth beneath them was torn to a fine dust in seconds as the barrage continued. As the blades fire out, a new set formed instantaneously and followed suit. There was no way to get close without being torn to shreds.

Jace sighed and closed his eyes. From using the miraai for too long His chakra was low. He sat on the ground and put his hand up "I give up" Jace fell backwards and sighed. "This fight is pointless, I shine in those who use Jutsu, I can't fight you. Sorry i didnt pass" Jace smiled and wiped the blood from his eyes. It welled up after using the miraai to copy such a demanding move.

Kihaku nodded and Sasha stopped the rotation, crouching low as she landed and padding back to Kihaku. He deactivated his own immateriality and strode to Jace's position, extending a hand holding a supplement pill. "You fought well, and your tricks are to be admired. Unfortunately, you have not passed this round, and your forfeit has come into effect immediately. I am sorry." And with that, Jace was transported back to the bridge of Otogakure.
