The mountains of the Jellies

Ryou stood at the foot of the mountain, his cloak fluttering along with the wind. He shivered, then performed a hand seal, summoning Kyuu.
"Let's go."

Kyuu glided to the ground level and allowed him to jump atop his bulb. He then ascended upwards, high up into the mountain.

Inazuma was waiting at the top of the mountain. It was The Day. The day his proclaimed 'son' would come to him, Inazuma the great jelly, to learn techniques of awesome power. He stood there on the mountain, proud as can be, looking down once in a while if Ryou was there yet.

They ascended, the slightly warm, tropical climate soon exchanged for a cutting cold. Nearer to the top, the faint figure of Inazuma was seen, his giant bulb wiggling in anticipation. Ryou waved at his 'father', ready to strengthen his already tight bind.

Inazuma saw, in the midst of the cold wind and frost, Ryou and Kyuu. He raised a tentacle and made a motion as if he were waving back. Gracefully, he descended down to his level and spoke. "You have come very far to reach here, my son, very far...I will now teach you techniques which I know you will use well."

"Technique? Lord, I can only stay for an allotted time. My apologies, but I feel I can only spare so much to increasing my own power." Ryou comes up, one hand clasping his cloak whilst the other laid complacently at his side.

"And this technique will aid you in your growth. Follow me." Inazuma turned around, and made his way into a cave in the volcano. It was dark and cold, but he didn't go in deep. He took out a long box, holding it in his tentacles out to Ryou. "Open it."

Ryou glanced at his bond, Kyuu, who seemed to be dancing happily, squirming with anticipation. With a half-hearted shrug, Ryou opened it with a smirk.

In the box was a...simple metal bar. "Take it, Ryou. It will help you greatly," Inazuma said.

Ryou bows his head, stifling laughter. "Forgive me, lord, but... how will this help in the least?!"

"There is more to it than meets the eye. This is a medium for you to channel your chakra. For every training that you do, put the extra chakra in this bar," Inazuma said seriously.

"So... you're saying this... thing can hold my excess chakra?" Ryou cocked his head at the bar, acting the ignorance of Naruto.

Inazuma nodded his jelly bulb. "Yes, it can. That is why it is important that you use it well. If it falls into the wrong hands..."

(( That's what I was thinking!!!! ))

Ryou squeezed the iron bar, finding it to be an odd hardness. "Use it well...?"

Inazuma nodded his bulb again. "Use it for good, not bad. Use it to protect your precious ones, and not hurt them..."

"...Lord Inazuma, I don't see how I could harvest the power of any excess chakra through this bar, though." Ryou scratches his head, shivering inside his cloak.

"Try, my son. Channel your chakra into the bar, and release the confines restraining it when needed." Inazuma pat the metal bar lightly.

"Confines...?" Ryou shrugs, and starts to concentrate on the bar, the centre of his meditational state revolving around it. Chakra organized in his hand starts to fall into the bar, the outside alloy withholding the spiritual energy from leaking out. "Amazing..."

"It is, isn't it?" Inazuma watched his 'son' wield the bar. "And I trust this bar to you, Ryou. You must take care of it."

(( pass out! Pass out! ))

Ryou nods, a slight faintness creeping over him. "Strange thing... for chakra to be taken away..." Black eats away at the corner of his eyes, him having depleted more chakra then recommended.

Inazuma looked at Ryou worryingly. "Be careful with the chakra use! Do not push your body's limits!"

He halted the concentration of chakra, glancing back up at Inazuma with a grin. "No worries, my Lord, I'll take care of this... weapon... What am I supposed to use it for, anyways? My allotted chakra is more then enough to summon Kyuu."

"You may store chakra in it to summon other jellyfish. Like me, Inazuma, and if needed... Lord Tenshudendou," he said sagely.

The term 'Lord' triggered an alarm in Ryou's mind. Inazuma never mentioned someone else with such a title. "Lord who...?" He whispered. "You never mentioned another Lord among 'us'..." Kyuu was buzzing around anxiously, also confused.
