The mountains of the Jellies

"He is Lord Tenshudendou, the God of us jellyfish. You can only summon him when times are hard and you are at high risk, and even then, only when you have no other option. To summon the great Lord is a very dangerous technique, indeed..."

"But Lord, you never mentioned someone of such stature... everyone here has always assumed you leader, even Kyuu!" He gestures to Kyuu, who was making a big show about staying silent, gliding around everywhere.

"Ah, but I am not. Lord Tenshudendou is even greater than I am." He drooped his bulb forward, as if a being humble.

Ryou glanced at the ever-darkening sky, sighing loudly. "I suppose its not too much to ask to see him?"

"...I suppose not." Inazuma looked at where Ryou was gazing. "What are you looking at?"

"Ah, it's just that us humans sleep when the sky darkens. But I'm ok, so let's go and meet this God." Ryou disposes of the thought of sleeping with a wave of his hand. As if on que, a gust of cold wind flies up into him, causing his cloak to flutter.

Inazuma shook his bulb. "Not now, Ryou. It is too cold for us to travel. We might get frostbite and my tentacles will fall off."

"You were made to undergo these harsh arctic temperatures, Lord Inazuma, couldn't you resist them just this once?

"I was, but you aren't. Go and rest, Ryou, we shall travel when the temperature rises and the sun can be seen."

Ryou sighs, and slowly crosses the mountains to a nearby cave. He takes off the cloak once out of reach of the wind, and slides from the wall to the ground. He folds up the cloak, propping up his head with it. As a final measure, he untied his headband and left it down next to him. He then set out to sleep, ignoring the frigid temperatures biting through his sandles.

Kyuu wraps up around Ryou's feet, his gel providing a formidable warmth to the biting cold of the mountain.

Inazuma rested next to Ryou, keeping an eye on the metal bar. It was an important tool for Ryou, for him to store his chakra without wasting it. He drifted off to sleep, his body trained against the pinching cold.

Ryou wakes to a faint glimmer of light, sunrise about to start. Realizing his surroundings, he tosses aside his cloak/makeshift blanket, and grabs his headband. He stood up to wrap it around his head, and, having seen both Inazuma and Kyuu gone, proceeded to walk outside, leaving his cloak.

Inazuma was waiting outside, floating off the ground. He turned his bulb as he say Ryou come out the cave. "The weather has calmed down now, and the sun has finally blessed us with light. Now we can go and introduce you to Lord Tenshudendou."

Ryou bows his head, affirming the information. "Yes, Lord. May we ascend to him?" He glances at the huge bulb of Inazuma, wondering just if HE'LL be on Inazuma, in order to meet the jellyfish.

Inazuma inclined his bouncy bulb in a bow. "Yes. We should start without wasting more time. Come, my son." He floated away, going on a path that winded up the mountain, into the clouds.

Ryou jumped onto his bulb before they separated. "Lord, what can I expect of this Tenshendou?"

"Well...I can say for sure he is very...big." Inazuma shifted under Ryou's impact, his jelly-thing inside him waving as the vibrations passed through them. He glided higher, and the temperature started to drop. "His mere tentacle is already very vast..."

Ryou nodded, confused by what the jelly meant by that. "You know... this is the first time I've been on your bulb, Lord." He grins, but then releases it when he sights the outlines of a huge tentacle. "Is that..."

Tenshudendou was floating silently within the current of the atmosphere, his huge tentacles flapping in the wind. The centre of his bulb, which could also be recognized as his eyes, sighted the vague figure of his son, Inazuma.

Inazuma would have nodded if he didn't fear Ryou would have fallen off. "Yes. That is my father - Lord Tenshudendou." He increased his speed, and came to an area of flat land near the great jelly's tentacles. "Hello, Father."

Ryou stares at the god-worthy bulb of Tenshudendou, defiant in the clear blue sky. He arches his body, bowing in humble respect. "Lord Tenshudendou, its an honor..."

Inazuma inclined his head, letting Ryou gently slip off his bulb. He too bowed to Tenshudendou, his bulb bending almost ninety degrees forward. "Father, this is Ryou Miura."

"Why do you bring a human within my presence, my son?" Tenshudendou asked, his tentacles fluttering queasily within the wind.

Ryou cringes at the oddness of Tenshudendou as he shaked, looking to Inazuma to explain.
