Training for Revenge.

"I know sir." Yuudai ran away and when they got to the Uchiha mansion he put Toshi in her room on her bed. He then went to the kicten at waited for her to wake up. Eventually he got tired and went to his room and fell asleep.

~ Next Day ~

For once, Toshi was the early riser. She walked up to Yuudai's room, and knocked loudly on the door. "Wakey-wakey!"

Yuudai was well rested so he got up a few seconds after she knocked. He opened the door and said, "Hey Toshi, you got up before me."

"Mm-hmm." Toshi grinned and went to the kitchen. There, she made some instant ramen. She sat on the high stools by the counter and ate, her feet swinging underneath her.

Yuudai came down and made some instant raman too. As he was eating he asked, "Hey Toshi what do you wanna do today."

"That's the same question everyday. Well, we have to do something to stop the demons from chasing us..." She poked the remains of her ramen and frowned. "Wanna go to the shrine?"

"Okay. Why?" Yuudai finished his raman and threw the container away.

"Just because." She smiled and ate two more cartons until she burped and threw the empty ones away. "Hey, Aiden-sama says I'm not very girly. Is that true?" she asked, frowning.

"Well thats kinda hard to answer. Sometimes ya wanna act like a girl, but sometime ya wanna be a little like a boy. So its hard to answer."

"Aw. Dang. Well then, let's get going." Toshi smiled, and attached the springs to her sandals.

Yuudai ran out the door. When he and Toshi had made it to the monument he stood therw quietly.

Once they were near the shrine, Toshi took her springs off and walked properly. "Hm...There's no miko, tsukuyomi or monk here..." she muttered. She went in, dragging Yuudai behind her, and went to the main prayer room.

Yuudai had never seen this part of the momorial. "I've never been to this part before."

They were in a small shrine way behind the monument, hidden by the trees. Toshi shrugged. "It's a shrine for the dead. But still, technically, a shrine. But no one comes here because they never seem to take their eyes off the monument."

"Okay. You know people who are dead? I didn't know that." Yuudai was kinda confused now. He didn't think Toshi knew anybody who have died recently.

Toshi just smiled and looked up at the shrine's idol statue. "That's of no importance. Just...maybe we can make some charms to ward off the demons here."

"Mabey. It would be nice to not have a bunch of deamons comming after you, and trying to eat me."

"Yeah!" Toshi exclaimed, full of determination. "Here. Write your name on this." She handed him a piece of red paper and wrote her name on one of her own.

"What do you want me to write with? Oh I think I know" Yuudai bit his thumb so blood was comming out. He then showed it to Toshi with the, 'Is this what I have to sign it with?' look.

"Eh! No, not that!" Toshi sighed with a small smile, and sucked the blood off his thumb. Then she gave him a pencil. "Use this!"

"That is not how I pictured it, but..." Yuudai signed the paper then asked, "So what does this do exactly?"

After he was done, Toshi had gone to kneel by the statue, her hands clasped. Her paper was right in front of her, facing the statue. She smiled to Yuudai and gestured him to pray too.

Yuudai knelt down and began to pray. He began to wonder what the point of this was. But he decided not to question Toshi, she seemed to know what she was doing.
