Ember stumbled along a stone pathway that led to who-knows-where.She hardly knew where she was.Yet she did know she was far away from her home.She was alert and tensed up,jumping at slight noises or movements.Curiousity did kill the cat as they said,but Ember was sure she was a lot smarter and stronger than a cat,and besides,curiousity cant lead yourself in too much trouble,cant it?
Little did she know what she was approaching.Soon the winding path led her to a clearing in the forest,and there was a stone building,and the entrance was blocked with a crumbling bolder.Little did she know she was being watched....

Ember stared at the ruin for a long moment,then continued forth slowly,and laid her fingertips on the bolder that blocked the entrance.
