Paths crossing in the sound.

A wind blew accros the naked plains on the dry wasteland were a few bare trees stuck up now and then. A traveling road cut through the landskabe and you would time to time see a merchant or a herb seller walk towards or away from the village with their cavren.

But Tonight, the only activity was a person walking down the road, towards the village, the figure hand waistlong raven hair, pale skin, a katana strapped to her back, female figure and showed the person couldt be much over 16, a ANBU uniform covering the body(west, black pants etc), a headband around her neck and a black cat mask to hide the face of the konoha ANBU.

Victor was walking through, wondering what'll he would do next. He knew what he was here for as he was partly interested what Orochimaru experiments could tell him but he knew that he wouldn't stand a chance with Orochimaru and that he's pretty sure he's not gonna let him observe as well. The best he can hope for it'll be that he'll accidentally walk into a experimenting room and hope that his uncle is there and quite good friends with Orochimaru. He saw Miru there, yet he continued to walk trying to find a way to view the experiments going underway in the sound village.

Miru stopped in her tracks as she saw a man, probably 30 or a little older walking on the same road, she took a stance and added a little chakra into her feet and used it to come in front of the man"..what are you doings in the sound?", came her emotinless voice, her sharingan burning under the mask.

Victor said nothing and continued to walk along, he wasn't here to make chit-chat or anything. Might be a spy for Orochimaru as well, however Victor just ignored her while his left hand was clutching Marco the book.

"Hey Victor, your gripping too hard!"

Victor rolled his eyes down unto Marco with a look he usually gave him when he wanted him to quiet down as he ddin't felt like talking most of the time. The book suddenly produced laughter in a weird and annoying way where anyone would want to throw away and insult it or something.

Miru raised a eyebrow under the mask, what kind of person would carry around a talking book?. Miru let out a sigh since it didnt intrest her much and she begang o walk again a few meters in front of the stranger.

Victor stopped as he was getting somewhat annoyed by this person as she kept on bothering him. Why couldn't people leave him alone, all he wants to do is gain knowledge and become immortal that's all he cares about. He couldn't help but to say quietly-ish

Miru turned her head back for a moment and looked over her shoulder on him, if she hadent been wearing a mask, he would had seen her black eyes burning of warning. She held her head that way for a moment befor looking out, tryign to focus on the road ahead

Victor then continued walking ahead through the sound village. She was talking to him and now he asked her what she wanted and now she continues to go in her little world. He didn't quite like this, he thought that he could see Orochimaru some other day besides he felt like living for a while, so he turned around and started to walk out of the sound village.

"Victor, are you intimidated by her?!"

Marco the book said as he laughed the same usual annoying laugh. However Victor kept his cool and continued to walk out.

"You are, you are!"

The ground opend up in a crack and the masked girl appeard in front of him from the ground"..what are you goals with orochimaru?". Miru wasent a mind reader, but the way he was dressed and the chakra she had feelt from him, meant he was a powerfull ninja and he probably had big knownledge of the ninja world, and in the sound, the only thing worth comming to for knownledge was the snake sannin..

Victor stopped to respond to her question. He thought he might as well answer her question.

My goals with Orochimaru? Mostly his research, only thign I'm interested with him but I highly doubt he'll just give me his research material.

"so he is here?", the words wasent meant for him since she mumbled it, only loud enough to hear for him"..take me with you and ill reward you handsomely.."

Reward handsomely? That depends on what the reward might be, and yea he is. I've tracked him to be in the sound village however not quite sure if eh is still here or not.

Victor said as he walked back into the sound village.

Miru followed and laid a hand onto the mask"...i gained much knownledge on a almost wiped out clan..", she said with a emotionless voice, a normal girl would probably had feelt uneasy or scared of walking next to him, but miru remained calm.

Very well. Suits me fine, I could use the extra intelligence on clans.

Victor said as he had bent down and there was a trap door, he opened it and it revealed to be a stairway going down. He went down into the darkness.

Miru followed and formed a handsign and mumbled a almost soundless word, some of her charka emerged out of her body and begang to seach the hideout for the snake sannin

Victor said in a whispering tone to Miru.

This is the problem, usually Orochimaru's Hideout's ar ehuge and so its hard to know where he is. Plus the experiemnted people here might not eb so friendly.

"..you are only scared if you fear the unknown..", came her still emotionless, but calm voice"..you seem like a man that has seen and exsplored(sp), many things..remeber how you feelt when you first meet it and then afterwards..on how the fear disappeard.."

Not afraid at all, the experimental people can't be all that bad, plus Im just trying to figure out where Orochimaru is plus what I should do when I find him.

Victor said as he continued to walk through the dark halls with the only light source of torches. He opened up a door quickly and saw that nobody was there.

Miru opedn a few doors by herself but found nothing but empty rooms, exsept in the last were some candels and a few statues was standing. Miru stopped moving when the chakra returned to her body with info about the hideout"..orochimaru isent in the hideout..but i located his office were his papers still is"

Really? I kinda want to go there and see those papers.

Victor said as Marco was being the idiot he was and talking about nonsense and alchohol breath. Victor simply hit Marco to shut him up sicne they werre in a hideout where they're might be a bun ch of people.

"..its a ...intresting book you have there" miru said, eyeing the book he called "marco", in his hands, she then turned her head to the elft and begang walking down off it"follow"

Victor was following Miru seeing as he might as well. He didn't really had anything to do plus he wanted to see those papers. So he simply followed ehr.

Miru opend the door to the small room, only light by some candels, on the table there were serval opend scrolls, but only one of the opend scrolls werent tossed around and was clean of dust, as if someone had been reading it minuts ago. The scroll contained some very, very brief infos about chakra, but in the middle of scroll tere were a detailed drawing of a eye with 3 spots around its purpill(sp), and under it written"sharingan"

Sweet. Papers.

Victor said as he had rushed automatically looking at the scrolls and absorbing all the information they gave off. He adored the information, they gave a lot of info on thigns he never even knew about and they even had some information on the sharingan. He was all but happy.

Miru laid a hand on the open scroll and placed it on the drawing"..what a pity..it dosent even scape the surfe of it.."
