Stupid, stupid, stupid! (Ronin and Toshi.)

"Where do you live? I'll be there by lunch time."

"No where in the village. I have a camp set up just outside the village in the woods. You'll find it. Just exit the village, turn left and walk about 3 or 4 meters and you're there."

"Okay. See 'ya tomorrow, Ronin." Toshi smiled, Naka-style, give him a light peck on the cheek and sprinted home.

Ronin was making himself breakfast for him self. He was still sleepy, he had a nightmare, and woke up at about midnight.

Toshi yawned and stretched her limbs. She was rearing to get out of her empty, Aiden-less bed. It was cold without him. She put her clothes on and had a piece of toast before she put her springs on and started sprinting to Ronin's.

Ronin was just finishing the eggs he found in a robins nest. They were tasty, but not as good as the ones you buy. When he saw Toshi he said, "Hey Toshi. Not much, I know, but it'll keep me alive while I'm here. Which'll be a while."

"At least you can call it home." A bird flew over to Toshi's shoulder, and she stroked its head gently. "C'mon, let's go," Toshi said, holding his hand, smiling.

"Where do you want to start?" he asked as he doused his fire with a bucket of water. He set it down and checked his camp for anything else he needed to fix before leaving.

"I haven't have breakfast yet," Toshi said, pulling him along gently, and a bit sleepily. "Ngh... Can you give me a piggy back ride?"

"Sure, we can go to the dango shop if you want. I just ate but not that much. Robin eggs arn't very much of a breakfast."

"All right, let's go. My treat!" Toshi chirped, and pulled him to the dango shop. "My usual, please!" she ordered happily.

"I'll have twenty dango sticks please!" then Ronin said to Toshi, "I'll pay for my own, since I'm ordering a lot. Well maybe not compared to you, but still"

"Okay, then, my usual, with twenty extra dango sticks," she said happily, and dragged Ronin to a table to wait. "Hm hm hm..."

As they sat, Ronin said, "And I'm paying for twenty of those dango sticks. That's way too much for you to pay, lemme pay for my share,"

"Nah, I'll put it on my master's tab. He owes me," she said, humming to herself. "Danna's a patient man, don't worry."

"Please let me pay for mah own share of the dango sticks. I want to pay for my own food." he didn't want to relay on Toshi to pay for his food all the time.

"Oh, fine. You're so stubborn." She smiled at him, but her sweet smile faltered. "You remind me of someone..."

"Oh, really? Who?" he asked as he was finishing his first dango stick and with a full mouth. So some crumbs came out as he asked.

"Don't talk with your mouth full." Toshi laughed, and started to wipe his mouth with a napkin. "Hm...The guy in my nightmares."

"Really? I can't tell if that is a good thing or a bad thing, or if it doesn't matter. Oh well!" he grabbed another stick and began eating.

Toshi shrugged nonchalantly. "I dunno. But I think it's cute," she commented innocently as she munched on her sweet dango.

"Uh? Oh okay." Ronin replyed with a mouth full of dango. He nodded and resumed eating his delicous breakfast.

After much dango, the melon bread came, and Toshi cleaned that off. "So, whaddaya wanna do, Ronin?"

Ronin was full now, "Ahh, I don't know. What is there to do? Hide-and-seek, cloud watching, tag, any other ideas?"

Toshi shrugged. Every one of those activities made her hurt inside. "..."
