"What would you do?" she asked. Ushio leaned over and hugged him tight from behind. "Would you stay and fight like a man, like how I wish you would, or would you flee to become some other's man?"

he clenched his fists " Have I not fought for you enough already?" he said scowling " did I not fight your murderer, do I not bear the scars of loving you on my body." he pulled away. from her " Maybe you should think about what you've just said and put it to yourself ".

He turned to face her pale eyes rich with tears and set ablaze with hurt " when have you ever fought for me all you've done is cry and run away when things got rough, when another girl peaked an interest in me you ran and said you weren't worthy, you told me to have a nice life with them. Never Once did you say F*** off thats my man " he said

" I think about it ... Ill be at the Ryoken on the mountain " he got out of the water dressed an left for his room

Ushio just looked down at her hands. "I want to," she said quietly to herself. It was true as fuck, she wanted to shout that to anyone that touched him. She wanted to show off he was hers, all hers. But he didn't all belong to her. And no one would take her seriously.

Both her boyfriends had been hooked onto. She was just a kid. How the fuck would she win? Beg? She didn't have a drop-dead body nor was she witty, nor smarts no strength. All she could offer was herself, and that would never be enough.

Kaji needed to be disciplined. If he thought she was that much of a fucking stupid shithead, just like how everyone else saw her, fine. She'd show him what a big difference there was in her.

Ushio got dressed and put on her clothes before going to the bathhouse/inn.

Kaji was in his room playing shogi with himself and his was losing to a clone

Kaji sighed " damn I screwed up again" the shadow clone nodded " your really outta whack today " the clone said taking a lance with his rook

Ushio slid the door open to his room and closed it behind her. She looked scary as...well, hell. The normal sweetness, harmless aura was over-ridden with one of rage and hurt female pride.

Ushio stomped over and dispersed the clone with a hard slap.

"So you think I'm that weak," she said coldly, looking down at him. "You don't think I can't rip out the throats of the girl that dares to touch you."

Kaji looked up the back down to the board. " I never said that ... I just pointed out that you never once fought for me " he said un-phased by her appearance " I know your angry and pissed off that I pointed it out to you but ... Im sorry it needed to be done "

She pushed him to the ground and pinned him there. "Has it ever occured to you that I wanted to do it?" she asked, still cold. "That I wanted to duel any girl who looked at you the wrong way? I want to. Of course I do. I thought you were my man." She slapped him hard, still furious. "But you show me that you aren't. You're split up like a jigsaw and all I get is a few pieces. How should I believe that you wanted me? I want to say that you're mine, so much I really do. But if I do, you'll call me paranoid and foolish anyway."

She shook her head. "If you love me, teach me how to be a better person. Not point out my faults because I'm scared - petrified, that I'd lose you to a bimbo who doesn't see how important you are, how much I love you, how much it hurts me for doing this."

She got up. "Think it through. Was all that effort you put into making me love you just crap?" She exited the room and checked into her own.

kaji rubbed his cheek and watched her walk away

he shook his head created a shadow clone and resumed his game. 'she made a small amount of sense' he thought

Ushio fumed. If he stepped into her room, she'd pounce him and tie him up.

Ushio went to sleep, snuggled into the futon in the buff, to calm down.

Kaji slid the door to Ushios room open and walked inside. he sat down beside her " I love you sweet heart " he whispered

"Nnh... Isamu, no..." She frowned in her sleep and gripped his hand. "Mama's here...don't...cry...no..."

Kaji lay down and hugged her " shhh.... dannas here" he said putting his arm around her

"Nah, I've got my man to take care of." Kikisu said, and went to her own room. Kazuya was asleep, so she curled up beside him and slept.

Ushio curled her fist around Kaji's shirt and pulled him to her. "....why did Daddy go away..."

" It was my final mission as a ninja " he said softly

"...with her...why...with her..." She was having another common nightmare. He wouldn't know, but after every fight, she'd have a nightmare of him leaving her for another.
