Vacation

" Im sorry honey it wont happen again" he said

"...you promised...not again..." She hid under the covers, hugging her pillow. "....why did you break your promise again..."

" because im an idiot " he said sadly

".... I love you, I wish you did too," was the last she said, before just crying in her sleep.

I love you Ushio " he said hugging her as she sobbed

Ushio cried for a few minutes before settling down in his arms, all bundled up in the sheets so there was no skin contact.

-morning-

kaji woke up and ordered breakfast for them

But Ushio wasn't in her little cocoon. She had fled the second she saw him.

The famished Chibi was munching on a donut in the park, smearing her cheeks with glazed sugar.

Kaji moved the blankets but there was no toshi " damn that girl and her running " he hissed

Kaji got dressed and went in search of her

A hare hopped onto the bench. She giggled and fed it some of her sugar-glazed, puffy donut, before biting into it again.

kaji appeared behind her " Ill always find you " he whispered

She squeaked, fell forward and smashed her donut. "NOOOO!"

kaji held a much larger doughnut in his hand " for you" he said waving it in her face

She drooled. "Jelly-filled or glazed?" she asked warily.

" glazed with a creamy center " he said " you want it"

She gulped and was visibly twitching. "What's the catch?" she asked suspiciouly.

" you have to spend the night with me " he said

"....deal," she said, and glomped him. "Feed me now or I'll eat you." To prove it, she nibbled on his earlobe.

he held the doughnut to her mouth " eat "

She took a big bite and smeared her mouth. She giggled. "Kisssh meee."

Kaji grinned and kissed her sugary lips. " mmm,.... is it just me or do you taste sweeter than normal "

She hiccuped. Ushio had paid a visit to Soda-sugarland. She kissed him again, sweet as honey.

" your my only one " he whispered before slipping her the tongue

Ushio timidly opened her mouth and let him in. Her cheeks turned pink and she was somewhat nervous. He had gotten better, and her heart stabbed. Had he had practise?
