Kaji woke up cold and alone it appeared Ushio stayed out on the couch

She was still sleeping. Sweat beaded her forehead and she tossed and turned. She was having a nightmare.

Kaji went out and brought the thrashing Ushio to his bed. He sat beside her and sung a few lullabies

Ushio coughed and coughed and her cheeks turned red. The nightmare was giving her a fever. A high one.

Kaji shook her " Ushio , Hey Ushio " he said grabbing a cold rag and putting it on her forehead

She opened her eyes, breathing deeply. Her temperature was dangerously high and she was coughing too. She weakly tugged on his hand. "...no..."
