"You want me to die because I won't marry you," she croaked out, dropping her hand.

" not true " Kaji said seriously.

"Then you hate me," she cried. "Because I won't marry at my age."

" no I dont hate you" kaji said looking into her eyes "as for marriage we dont have to get hitched anytime soon but Id like for us to at least me Engaged "

"You were so pissed when I said no... Kaji...you might say we were together for years, but how can I trust my heart to someone who brought the death of me?"

I never killed you " kaji said some tears falling onto her cheek

"You brought what did. Kurama would never have come if...if you just had kept me...sane." The 'soul-sucking bastard' had come, in moments of grief and agony, caused by the one man who could stop it. He was forced to be drawn to such heartbreak, to eat the poor girl's soul so she could die and forget this man.

kaji growled slightly " im sorry i tried obviously being human and making a mistake is what drove you to insanity" kaji scowled " you drove me over the edge you know "

"And thank you for being a normal, sane boy, compared to a mental, abused, raped, brain-washed, tortured girl who can't die, or just be in peace because there will be, someone out there, who thinks I am not worthy of cursed immortality," she snapped.

Kaji smiled " well it seems your doing better"

She felt her vision pop and go blank. Ushio gasped and coughed, almost pulling a muscle in the process. "Too...bright..."

whats to bright " he said worriedly. Kaji scanned her for signs of illness but there was none. It appeared this was purely psycological

"My eyes hurt," she whimpered, covering her face with a pillow. She wanted the one who was always there, rain or shine, he'd be there. "Get Kurama-kun."

Kaji folded his arms " what good will he do "

"He handled this before," she said weakly. Her eyes were bloodshot and the pupils dilated. "But fine. Don't then." She got up, and crumbled, collapsing onto the floor. She crawled to the bathroom.

Kaji went into the bathroom behind her " Im going to take care of you "

"Are you a mental health doctor too?" Her fever raged on. Ushio gagged and puked blood and gut into the toilet bowl.

Kaji healed her body " No but I love you " he said holding her hair

Ushio looked up at him. Her lip quivered, but she did not cry. She opened her arms out to him, wanting a hug, because her heart hurt, her body hurt and all she wanted was some love and peace. She looked weak and scared and oh, so, vulnerable.

Kaji wiped the blood from her lips and embraced her tightly. " hey you'll pull through this honey ..." he said quietly as he held her in place " I love you so much ... you gotta pull through this "

"I... I love you too." Well, okay, Ushio let slip a tear to roll down her cheek. "I love you too." She hugged him back just as tightly and another lone tear escaped. "Please don't be mad anymore. Let's not fight. Everytime we do, I start dying."

Okay no more fighting " Kaji said kissing her forehead then he kissed away her tear "salty "

"The taste of tears depends on emotion, I think sadness is the least salty. Or maybe most." She sniffed, her nose and cheeks red as she looked up at him. "Kiss me," she squeaked.

Okay " he said smiling weakly. he kissed her softly on the lips and pulled back " gomen ... could you er... use some mouth wash the taste of blood and vomit isnt yummy ... even if its yours " he said smiling
