A Shinobi Approaches

Kai fell to sleep pretty easily and was woken in the early morning by Erika,
who placed he finger on her lips and pulled him by the hands... Quietly
she and Kai left the room... Kai thought of waking Shiro but Erika placed
a tape recording next to him instead... The two then left..

Shiro was having his usual nightmares but he did not scream. Not noticing that Kai left he woke up rather late. "Kai?", he asked, only to find he was alone. The record confirmed that and Shiro got angry just by hearing Erika's voice. However, he could not do anything about it, it was their deal. So instead of being upset, Shiro had breakfast and started practising his writing again. Trying to use the letters he knew already he decided to write a letter to Kai.

Hai Kai,
Ai ... that was as far as he got. Frowning he gave up, instead got a book out of the shelf and walked over to the closest shop. "Sir, can you help me? Could you read out that first sentence to me, I forgot my glasses and I really need to know what it says", Shiro lied. Keeping in mind what the shopkeeper said, repeating the sentence over and over again, Shiro returned home. He wrote down every letter used in the sentence and drew a picture next to it to remember what the letter sounded like. A bear for B. An eel for E. And so on.

Hai Kai,
Ai em in se betruhm. Ai praktist. Ai hop u r praod.
Sniro.

Was the letter Kai would find when he returned home. To write it had almost taken Shiro a day, it was hard to figure out the letters with only one sentence to get them from.

Kai got back late around 1 am the next day... He walked into his house
hot, sweaty and exhausted... Laying on the table in front of him was a
piece of paper... Reading it Kai laughed quietly and hugged it close to
his body... He took a pen and wrote on the back of it...

Shiro,
I am proud of you.
I love you.
Kai

He held it closely and walked into the bedroom to see Shiro fast asleep,
carefully he placed the paper into his arms and fell asleep beside him...

When Shiro woke up the next morning it was almost noon. He noticed the paper but when he tried to read it, it made no sense. Too many unknown words. But instead of asking Kai, he wanted to write a reply. So he got up and grabbed a pen.

wat r u riting to mi?

He still did not know how to do a th-sound so he decided to keep using an S instead. It sounded similar.

Kai woke up to the paper and smiled... Reading it,
he held tightly in his hands... It was quite cute to see
Shiro's handwriting... Kai got up and walked around
the apartment to try and find Shiro... So he could
give him a hug and show him the words he didn't
know...

Shiro was preparing breakfast for the two of them, wearing only an apron.
He was going to catch up on what he missed, he wanted to see his present.
"Good morning, sleepyhead", Shiro cheered when he heard Kai enter the kitchen.

Kai walked over and hugged Shiro... He whispered softly in his ear,
"The note said Shiro, I am proud of you. I love you"
Kai laughed and said to Shiro "I'm just gonna be in the shower...
It'll take me 10 minutes..."

"You better hurry or I'll eat your food, too", Shiro said and grinned at Kai.
He had done his best to prepare an edible breakfast.
And it smelled better than he had expected it to...

Kai got unchanged and into the shower and got washed...
Towards the end he placed his hand on the wall and rested
on it... He was feeling more tired then usual... He got out
and wrapped his lower body in a towel.

He walked out quite dazed and exhausted... "What's for
breakfast?" Kai asked.

"Anything you could imagine, basically", Shiro said.
He was already sitting at the table, waiting.
His blank butt shone invitingly below the backrest of the chair.
"We have... pancakes, eggs, bacon...", he started, pointing on the bowls and plates on the table.

Kai smiled and sat down, the food looked great but Kai's head
hurt and he felt dizzy... Kai began to eat the food, "Taste's
great, you must of put a lot of effort into this..."

"I tried my best for you", Shiro said and grinned.
But Kai looked pale, something seemed to be bad for him.
"Are you alright?", Shiro asked, worried.

"It's amazing, I just feel a bit ill... It must of been
something I ate yesterday..." He gripped his stomach
that was aching... But he smiled at Shiro...
Holding his fork he started to eat... But it was painful
the taste in his mouth was good, but swallowing it,
it hurt his throat and his stomach...

Shiro looked worried and mumbled something about Erika and poison.
"Are you sure you don't want to lay down again? You look pale", Shiro said.

"Could you just... Walk me to my bed... I think..."
Kai couldn't continue... His world went black...
He passed out...

Shiro was alarmed, he ran over to the opposite of the table, picking Kai up and carrying him to the lounger which was closer than the bedroom. Making sure Kai could not fall Shiro ran outside, calling a doctor. He returned soon after, preparing a glass of water in case Kai woke up. What should he do until the doctor arrived? Shiro had never taken care of a sick person before.

Shiro did what he was told, he was too worried to accuse Erika of having done something.
"What happened?", he asked, sounding afraid. "He'll be better, won't he?"
Shiro did not notice he was still wearing only an apron.

Shiro flinched when he realized that she could see most of his body, especially his ass as he had just turned his back on her. Not that he was ashamed to show her, apart from the fact that his skin was still a little red from the recent burns. Shiro knew that although he was rather thin he looked good. But it was not for Erika to see...
Blushing Shiro got dressed, now wearing lose pants and one of Kai's too big shirts.

Shiro blushed and did not know what to say.
He looked over at Kai who was still not conscious.
At least he would not notice this embarrassing scene...
"W-what are you doing?", Shiro asked, not moving.
Not even to push her hand away although he felt the urge to do so.
But that was like losing to her, she wanted that!

Shiro shoved her away from him, not too hard just so he got the point across.
"You should go home and get some rest. I need to practise", he said.
He did want to practise his writing, not any kind of physical training, but she did not need to know.
