Silent Grass

“Are you even aware of how much trouble you’re in? You capture an assassin from an organization we’ve been trying to bust for years and what do you do? You bring her to your home instead of bringing her to a trained interrogator. On top of that you let her escape and leave the village on a self proclaimed unauthorized mission. That act alone would make you a rouge ninja. What do you have to say for yourself?”

" Look I've faced literal hell out there trying to find her I have her bird who can show us to the liar all we have to do is get the birds wing fixed it is trained to fly to the assassins liar." Nagiko yelled now angry.

“Don’t you get it?! The bird is a joke!! We got 10 others where that one came from none of which go to any of their bases just birdhouses that teleport the assassins elsewhere. Even if we found out where that elsewhere was I doubt it would be there base.” He then took out a slip of paper with writing on it. “This was found in one of those birdhouses. All of them are heavily encoded; even our expert jonin can’t crack it. This is what they use to teleport.” He then put the paper back in his pocket. “But that is behind us we need to work with what we got and what we got is you. If you have any ounce of loyalty to our village you will abandon this mission and let the professionals take care of it”

" I-I-I can't that woman what happened to her it's just horrible and yet she returns." Nagiko said sadly the memory of the woman having no tungue came flowing back.

The chunin gave a sigh and now spoke in a calmer voice. “Look here’s the deal. We’re basically switching missions. I’ll take custody of the bird and look for the slightest hints for clues. You on the other hand will do my mission and help escort a wagon of supplies back to the village. That way you’re still not turning your back on her and I don’t have to arrest you for going rouge. Do we have a deal?”

" Where is this mission going to take me where." Nagiko said.
( Your going to not make a post for the chunin to find her I'm getting really suspicous.)

“From here to the Hidden Grass Village. The wagon should get here in and couple hours so in the mean time you should get some rest.” The chunin said. “You’re dismissed.” He said as he left the room.

Nagiko nodded and left and fund a small dessert tree to sleep on.

Time passed and the sun made its course over the sky. Soon a teenager was pulling a hand drawn wagon into the village. He had a (fake) sharingan on his left eye and a Hidden Valley emblem on his ninja band. He was warring all black which wasn’t the best of choices in this heat. He had three sword strapped to him. Two on his back and one at his side.

Nagiko woke up to the sound of the wagon.

The ninja teen stopped the wagon and gave a loud sigh. He had been walking for ages not to mention attacked a few times. He looked at the other boy noticing the grass symbol. “Do you happen to be my escort?” Tsukiakara (the Valley ninja) said.

"I am and I may be a genin but I'm tougher than I look." Nagiko said jumping down from the tree.

“I’m a genin too; I just need another person to help.” Tsukiakara unrolled his pant legs showing a cut that was patched up recently. Blood stained the pants and the leg around it. “I got this just trying to get here.”

"Well you won't get hurt again nomatter what I complete my missions." Nagiko said but then fianted the two and three quarters of no sleep and almost constant fighting including all the running cought up to him.

Tsukiakara gave another sigh as the boy went to sleep. He hated babysitting missions but he couldn't help it, a mission was a mission. It wasn't like they had to leave right away so Tsukiakara set the wagon down and leaned back on it, waiting for his ally to wake up.

After two hours Nagiko finally woke up and said "Sorry I guess I'm just wore out but I feel alright now so we can go." Nagiko said.

“It’s fine I bought us some food so eat up” Tsukiakara said. There was a blanket filled with food like a picnic.

" Huh but I always hunt for my food I've never had regular food wonder how it tastes." Nagiko said reaching for something that looked like meat.

Tsukiakara didn’t reach for any food. He had already eaten so all of the food was for his ally. “Wasn’t sure .what you like so pretty much took what I liked to eat.” There was a pizza, a large bowl of rice with vegetables and meat, a pot of roman, fruit salad, corn, and for desert a cake. It was more fun then both of them could possibly eat but this was going to be their food for the whole mission. And if that doesn’t last them Tsukiakara always packed an emergency supply. He just preferred to use it in…well…emergencies

"It's alright I've never had real regular food." Nagiko said.

Tsukiakara waited for his ally to be finished with his food. “Oh I forgot to say my name. I’m Tsukiakara of the Village Hidden in the Valley.”

" You seem too nice to be a ninja of the valley village." Nagiko said finishing his food.
