Silent Grass

"Thank you Tsukiakara. " Nagiko said weakly and then blacked out the pioson was now spreading and quick.

Tsukiakara pulled with all his might trying to get Nagiko to the town. “Don’t die on me now!” He yelled maybe trying to get him awake.

Nagiko woke up but was too weak to do anything.

Tsukiakara pulled with all his might while the wheels rolled on the soft sand. The village was in view but Nagiko would have to last a little longer.

Nagiko started to go into shock and in response his body was slowly shutting down.

Tsukiakara kept pulling the cart along. It was all he could do. When they got only a few meters to the enterence Tsukiakara turned to see how Nagiko was doing.

Nagiko looked ill and pale and frill and fragile nothing good about a piosoned person look.

When they arrived in the village, Tsukiakara took Nagiko immediately to the hospital where the doctors whisked him away. Tsukiakara would have to wait in the waiting room now as he waited for the doctors to give word back to him.

As the doctor's worked on Nagiko his condition started to stablize but it was still very bad.

There was nothing Tsukiakara could do but sit, wait and hope for the best. To pass the time, he started sharpening his swords.

The doctor's after hours of working on him they came to the conclusion that he was posioned and came out into the wiating room and came up to Tsukiakara and said " He is in critical condition but he'll live he was posioned by something in the water he drank but he should be okay can't granteed anything but he should." The doctor said then said "And if you want to come see him i'll take you to him now he is awake but barely." The doctor said.

“No thanks. I wouldn’t want to disturb while he’s trying to heal.” Tsukiakara told the doctor. He kept sharpening the blades as he sat in the chair.

"As you wish he should be fine in a few hours but he won't beable to leave for maybe another two days hope it's not a problem." The doctor said.

“no it’s not” Tsukiakara lied. He was probably going to have to do the rest of the mission solo. He sighed at the thought but it was probably going to be the only way. There was only last thing he was going to have to do before he went. Tsukiakara got up and walked over to Nagiko’s room.

Nagiko was awake and said weakly "hello Tsukiakara I feel horrible." Nagiko said but he was sure he knew what was coming and he wouldn't let it he wouldn't let Tsukiakara leave him here if he was going to do a mission he didn't abadon it nomatter what condition he was in.

Tsukiakara took out a glowing red scroll and threw it onto Nagiko's chest. "Your going to be here for a while. Keep that scroll and under no circumstances lose it. When you feel better head to your village." Tsukiakara instructed. Now that that was taken care of Tsukiakara went over to leave the room.

"egggg... Wait i'm coming with you nomattter what I get my missions done at any cost so i'm coming and thats that." Nagiko yelled determinedly and ripped the ivy out of his arm and got up now fully awake and seemed fine but he started to walk and stumbled weakly and said "Please don't leave me take me I will carry my own weight promise." Nagiko said he stood upright even know he was completely weak and dizzy but he wasn't showing it.

“Look at yourself. You can barely hold on. Bringing you along would only endanger the mission instead of help. Just let go of your pride and heal up.” Tsukiakara said trying to convince him.

"No do you think that I went running for days not to get a mission when I was chasing that assassin for two days and nights just to turn around and not get a mission i'm going and thats that I won't let myself be wavered don't worry I can keep going." Nagiko said now getting stronger and used to the weight of himself again after being piosoned.

"I don't have the time to babysit. There are several other shipments that need delivering." Tsukiakara said having walked out of the room entirely. Whether Nagiko followed or not didn't matter anymore.

Nagiko ripped the ivy out of his vein and got dressed by using a jutsu and chased after Tsukiakara now not even feeling the effects of the pionson all he wanted was to complete this mission.

Tsukiakara didn't look back but just kept walking to complete the mission. When they got outside a sandstorm blew in. Sand flew everywhere and stung their faces.

Nagiko kept going he wasn't going to be swerved nomatter what.

“Oh man this isn’t going to go well” Tsukiakara said. It was hard to even move but he somehow forced himself to. Their rate of travel was much slower now.

Nagiko kept chasing he was determined to catch up he wasn't going to abandon his mission nomatter what.
