The Slave and the Greedy Master (Nbird and Binx) {M}

She shook her head no. “I wasn’t even told your name till you said it to me.” She told him.

Greed looked at the sky "In my body is the demon of greed, He controls most of everthing i do. And thus people fear me. No one cares about me..its a lonely existance"

She held his hand tighter. “I know how you feel. To be controlled by someone else and not be cared by anyone. Maybe that’s why we’re friend now.”

Greed shrugged and closed his eyes leaning back into the rain as it feel down his face. He secretly loved that may was this close to him willingly

May held onto him but soon she drifted back to sleep still leaning on him. The rain dripped down her face as she slept.

Greed picked the old slave up easily and put her back under the tre so she didnt get a cold. all to soon it was morning. Greed was getting changed when he heard may waking up

She gave out a yawn as she got packed and was ready to follow Greed again. “I’m ready” She told him.

Greed looked at the sky before answering "Maybe its a bettter idea for you to stay here. Find your own path"

She stood there silent staring at Greed. What was he talking about? He was the only person who actually cared about her in years. “If I wait here…will you come back for me?” She asked sadly.

Greed shook his hand "If you stay with me you'll die. Thats almost a certain thing. Besides i get into some fights even i you dont die. You'll get hurt alot. do you really want that as a life?"

“I was died the minute I became a slave. You gave me back my life. I want to help you. I don’t care if I get hurt.” She hugged his back shedding tears. “Please, don’t leave me” She said crying.

Greed sighd "If i was a good guy i would leave you here, Let you live your life"

“Where would I go? I have no one. Just old masters who would kill me now that my mark is gone. You’re the only one I have left. The only one you cares about me. Please I’ll do anything just let me come with you”

Greed sighed and pulled away from her and started walking "If you come with me, Im not responcible for what happens you do this of your free will"

“I understand” She said quickly following him. “Thank you” She then wiped away her tears as she said those words.

Greed nodded buty didn't turn around. He kept running trying to take his mind off of may. He noticed the movement too late to bvlock it he only had once choice. He made his shield go over his whole body and turned hugging may tightly as senbon bounced off his back

May’s eyes grew big as she realized that they were attacked and he just saved her. She took out some tools from her pocket that Greed gave her earlier and threw them in the general direction from where the needles came.

Greed moved around may by jumping over her and caught another senbon, His voice was low when he talked "This is a low level ninja or possible a trap. stay close to me alr-" Greeds words weree cut off as a ninja barely ten attacked from under them with a water style attack

May was scared stifles. But then a pain pulsated in her shoulder. Her eyes began to glow a light blue color. Quickly she jumped in the air doing hand signs as well. Soon sharp blades of air sliced through the water that was coming to attack them. This created an opening for Greed to blow them all up (since they all revealed their positions)

Greed grinned his curse mark worked exactly like he wanted. He snapped his fingers three times and each ninja screamed in pain

She landed gracefully and her eyes returned to normal. “What..What’s going on?” She asked not remembering what she had done.

Greed motioned for may to comne here, When she did greed checked his curse mark, It was still there He grinned "When i took off your old mark i gave you one of my own. It'll increase your ninjutsu knowlege for a short time"

“What else does it do?” She asked scared that it did something more then make her stronger in ninjustu. Fear was definitely back in her eyes. She just got free she didn’t want to go back to being a slave.

Greed smiled "Nothing, Though i wouldn't uise it alot. it might hurt you" Greed started walking towards the mist slowly. he held his hand out for may "I'll teach you how to control it"

“Really” she asked. She wasn’t able to control her last one and this new one seemed that it would help her a lot not to mention Greed as well. “Ok, I trust you” She said with a smile and continued to walk. “So why did those men attack us. Were they simple robbers or were they after us?”
