Kanu liked it when they did that, so he helped him build it up. "Lets use them all and make it the tastest tower ever!"

"YES!" He said very happy. Lucky for him he didn't bump the tower over which could of made his brother more mad.

Meanwhile in the bathroom, a shadowy figure (Envy) leaned against the wall watching Mali. When she got nice and cossy with the water he spoke. "Hey beautiful, you call?"

Mali jumped. "Oh, you startled me. Yes, it is your son's "birthday", and since you know about him, I thought it'd be nice if you were at least here to say it to him." She tilted her head. "But why show up now?"

"Because he didn't call me. I can feel his blood boil just by the thought of me. I didn't want to ruin his birthday for him" He said as he continued to lean.

"Trust me envy, he'll want to know you." She said, letting the water run but stepping out, her body glistening with water. "Why don't you come to the pet shop with us and get him a puppy?" she asked, running a hand down his chest.

"Not today. I can sence he is still a little upset from last night. I'll wait for a better time." He said then putting a arm around her. "I mainly came to say goodbye to you again. My family is having another 'reunion' "

She looked up at him. "And what does that mean?" She asked, stroking a piece of hair from his face. "Because your son is your family." She said sweetly.

"Trust me when I say that if I could I would avoid this reunion but I can't I'm sorry." He then started to stroke her hair as well. "As I said, when he is ready, I'll be there for him."

She gently rested her head on his chest. "Well, be safe. For me." She murmured, tears falling from her eyes. They were happy, yet sad.

"I'll try" He said as he held her. "But I don't have to leave right way. Want to do anything, together?

She wanted him so bad, yet was so afraid to hurt him or get hurt herself again. "Just... stand here with me. Please." She said, her voice breaking from trying to hold back crying.

"Very well" He said as he did just that. Meanwhile the two boys already used half the legos but the tower was taller then both of them so putting more on the top was getting hard.

She looked up at him, his eyes, and stroked his cheek. Softly, she kissed him, letting all her pent up emotions come rushing out. "I'm sorry Envy." She whispered softly against his lips, tears falling down her face, her voice no more than a whisper for fear of her sadness showing in it.

"It's okay. I've missed that kiss. Don't cry" He said softly as he continued to hold her.

"I have to cry. I feel so horrible." She kissed him again, and ran her fingers through his hair. "I missed you ever day. Seeing your son, it made it so hard at first. To think I wouldn't have the wonderful man who had helped make him in my life ever again made me so depressed."

"I'm sorry." He said. After that incident things just never the same and Envy felt that he could never make Mali happy with his presence ever again. He nonetheless continued to hold her close.

She kissed him gently, this time kissing him for a little longer. She pulled away, thinking that he wouldn't want her the way he used to. "Well, I should go get them to the store. I promised them a puppy, and, well, if you aren't getting it I guess I need to." She started to get dressed in clean, not ice creamed clothes.

"Bye" He said as he left.

"I can't reach it anymore" Misteru said as he tried to place the next lego on the top.

She reached out to him. Hugging him from behind, she asked, "If I call you, will you come and lay by my side?" She asked, and let go. "I've been so lonely, and I can't sleep without you there."

"I try my best." Envy said as he disappeared with the wind.

Mali's hand fell. "Oh, please be back." She whispered, and made sure she was presentable. She walked into the boy's room and said, "Lets get going!" Kanu turned to Mitsu. :knock it down on three?"

"Two... ONE!" They said in unison. They then proceeded to knock the whole tower down making it fall with a huge crash. "Yeah that was cool" Misteru said hoping with joy.

Mali laughed and picke dup both boys to go and get them their German Sheppard Puppy. They went to the store, bought him, and all the stuff he would need. She walked home with the leash in hand. Kanu pet the puppy.

Misteru was overjoyed with the new puppy. When the immediately got home he found a stick and started playing fetch with the dog.

Five more weeks past and the children grew. It was a normal sunny day outside but instead of enjoying it Misteru was laying on the couch watching cartoons. The puppy rested on Mitseru’s tummy as he watched the television.

Mali didn't mind him being inside right now, but Kanu wanted to go out. "I'm going to go watch your brother. I'll be right back," She said kissing his head.
