One to many (Xeno/ember)

John strolled into the Hidden grass, a piece of strew wedged between his teeth. This was a good a stop as any other to find himself a place to sleep and maybe some booze. He received the usual gazes for the way he dressed by passer-by, but he was already used to it. He outfit was for people of his time and area, not their's. As he walked he turned to an elderly woman and gave her a kind smile nad a tilt of his hat before asking. "Y'all wouldn't happen to know where a thirsy man could have a drink." The woman gave him the strangest look, but luck would have it that the people here could understand him and he could understand them. The woman gave him directions to a bar in town and went on her way.

Ember normally wasn't a person to go to bars, but this bar was recommended to her by an old friend. She wasn't going to get herself wasted. She just wanted to try an exotic drink or two. She sat on a stool over a counter, stirring a light green, ice slushed margirita. (ICAN'TSPELL)
When she heard the door open again, she did not expect the gasp that rose and the whispers that stirred the room in a unsettling chill set. She turned her head over her shoulder, really not expecting much, when she saw a man. Dressed oddly, that's for sure. What's the big deal, really? He's just all dressed up. She was the only one to turn her head back away from him to sip her drink.

John entered the bar to, what a surpise, hear moore gasps and whispers. "Some people." He whispered and laughed to himself. He made his way to the bar, his spurred boots clinking wwith every step. He sat down next to a green with some fancy green drink. "'Cuse me sir. Would y'all mind pour me a beer." John said, taking his hat off and placing it next to him.

Ember scoffed, and almost spit out her drink. The accent this man has.. It was... It was just simply hailarious. Who does he think he is? Her silver eyes slowly slipped a quick glance at him, catching all his features at once. Tall leather hat on the counter beside him, big boots that clicked..etc. Just a whole get-up. How amusing.

John looked around while he waited for his drink. He caught the glimpes of people staring, mostly with either curiousity in why he dressed and talked the way he did, or with anger towards it. Then his caught the stare of the girl next to him. Her eyes were different, almost as if the sight of him amused her. "Howdy." He said lowly to her, so only she could hear him. "Pardon my accent, I ain't exactly from around these parts."
