The Sand Rose. (Open)

"Ohhh. Wanna go watch clouds with me? Wait, no, there aren't any clouds here. Um...wanna play at the playground?"

"Sure thing. Want a drink for the go?"

"Nah, it's alright. I wanna go play on the see-saw."

"Well lets go then." Akihiko left the payment on the table.

"Yaaay!" At the playground, there were only a few children, since it was a hot, hotter than usual day in Suna.

"Should have had that drink...." Akihiko said as they started to play (insert game).

"Ngh, it is hot...out here..." Toshi got off the see-saw, in case she burned her butt.

"Welcome to the desert..." Akihiko said. Hardly feeling the heat but feeling thirsty.

"Gah...I already did a jutsu when I came, so I didn't feel much, but still..." Toshi huffed. "D'you know anywhere we can go where there's shade?"

Akihiko looked over to the schoolhouse nearby. He started walking over. It was around 6 so there would be shadows on the other side of the school. "C'mon then."

"Ah, okay." Toshi grinned and followed him. During the day, Suna might be blazing hot, but it was pretty cold at night.

Very much so. The only time it is near avrage is dawn and dusk. Akihiko walked over and sat down. "S....what all you do at home?"

"I watched clouds, play with the water, take naps and eat," Toshi said simply. "Sometimes I play with my friends, but not so much."

"Heh, why not?"

"They're busy, and I know I'm an annoying little brat," she said, sighing. "You think so too, don't you?"

"No, unlike most I can tolorate playfullness. Hey you know who that kid over there is?" Akihiko was looking over to a bench. There sat Turko, reading a book.

"Nope. Never seen him before," Toshi said, shaking her head. She wanted to know who, to sate her curiousity, but it'd be rude to interrupt his reading.

"Well lets go see!" Akihiko said, demonstraiting his outgoingness. He knew if they bothered the kid he would tell them or hit about it. Akihiko started running torwards him and yelled back to Toshi. "Well c'mon!"

Toshi grinned and nodded, then started to sprint, following him.

Getting nearer the kid looked up. "Yes?" he said as Akihiko drew nearer. "Whatsup?" Akihiko said nicely.

Toshi kept silent behind Akihiko. She didn't want to piss him off.

"Hello, nothing really, just some reading. And you two?" Turko leaned over to see Toshi standing behind Akihiko.

"Saw ya sitting here and thought we would come talk." Ahiko said kindly.

Toshi moved again so that she was obstructed from view by Akihiko. She peeked at him from over her friend's shoulder, curious.

"Awe c'mon Toshi!" Akihiko said playfully as he spun around. He grabbed Toshi and swung her around to introduce her. "This is Toshi. Toshi he's nice, I can tell."

"Hey, Toshi. How're you?" Turko asked her kindly. He then moved over and gestured for both of them to take a seat. "I don't bite."

"Um, nice to meet you." Toshi smiled, wide, and bowed to him. "Well, he's Akihiko Toutou." She grinned and sat down, her attitude changing.
