Training in Konoha

Fallens walks over to the training area and looks around for a second. He walks over to the body of water and looks down. "Okay here goes" he said channeling his chakra into his feet. He took one step and then another. So far he didn't fall so he took one more but then his left foot sunk in. After that he got distracted and lost focus and fell into the water backwards making a big splash.

"Wheee...!" Toshi grinned as she was chasing a butterfly in the air. But then she heard a splash nearby. She was curious and went to the edge of the pond. "Hello?" she called out, afraid.

Fallens swam to the edge of the pond and went up bobbing is head up in a splash. He looked forward and saw someones foot and looked up. "Umm... hello?" he said raising his hand up for a boost.

Toshi saw a hand pop out and jumped back, landing on her butt. "Whaa...?!" Then she saw the head and sighed with relief. "I thought you were a corpse!" She took firm hold of his hand and tried to pull him out.

Fallens put a knee on land and stood up and said "Maybe I should have taken my clothes off first" he said disappointingly. He looked at the girl and said "Thank you for...helping me" with a blank face.

"Your welcome," Toshi said, smiling. Then she bent down to his level and stuck her hand out for a shake. "I'm Satoshi Kuroda. Call me Toshi. So, who are you?"

"Hi Toshi I'm Fallens" he said with a smile. He stood up and said "Do you know how to walk on water?"

Toshi shrugged. "I know the theory. But I have bad chakra control, so I'm only good as a coach," she said, smiling wryly.

"Okay well maybe I could help you with chakra control or maybe something else. How are you at Genjutsu?" he said taking his wet cloak off.

"I don't use much jutsu except for medic purposes," she admitted, then shrugged. "But I guess I could try."

"Ok well take this" he said taking out his Genjutsu Rod. "This will help you control your Genjutsu a little better. If I remember correctly a Genjutsu is something that plays with your opponents mind making them think something is happening when it really isn't. So in lam en's terms it's an illusion and all you have to do is target the persons cerebral nervous system. I think it helps to make eye contact with my targets" he said explaining while drying off. Fallens went over to the edge of the pond and said "Okay while you practice that I'll practice this. So first you have to think of a Genjutsu you know. Unfortunately all of mine are original and might be to hard for you to start with. Maybe you can make an animal think he fell asleep or something?" he said channeling his chakra.

"But, I don't know- oh, there is one... I've seen a friend do it, but I'm not sure if I can do it right..." Toshi picked up a bunny and frowned in concentration. "....."

Fallens looked back and chuckled a little from the face she was making and lost focus for a second. He channeled his chakra into his feet and took one step onto the water. "The first is always the easiest" he thought. He continued on to the water with two more steps and took another. He smiled and felt so confident he jump to the next step as he hit the water he fell in but this time with a bigger splash.

Toshi looked at Fallen, a bit shaken by the splash. '...he's probably okay. He's a ninja.' She smiled, then went back to the bunny and frowned. Nothing was happening.

Fallens swam back to the top and figured he should also practice getting out of water without land. He put his hand no the water and focused his chakra into there and followed with the left. After a minute of channeling his chakra he was standing up on the water. He smiled in relief and started to walk to the middle of the pond and made it there. He turned around and started to walk back but halfway through he fell in again.

As the bunny grew bored of being held like a rock, it escaped and hopped away. "Nuuu, bunny...!" Toshi sighed, then put the Genjutsu bar away. She was better off focusing on medic jutsu. "Fallen-san, are you okay?"

Fallens swam to the edge of the water and got out. "Yes I'm fine but I'm gonna take a break for a minute" he said lying down. He looked at Toshi and said "How did your practice go?".

Toshi drooped her head. "Bad. Mr. Bunny wasn't affected at all." She sighed, and sat down, cross-legged. "My main offence is weaponry, so I'm not good with Gen, Nin or Tai Jutsu..."

"Ok well atleast you tried" he said smiling. He held out his hand and said "Could I get my rod back please".

"Oh, sure." Toshi smiled and passed him the Genjutsu rod. "D'you have any elemental jutsu?"

"What do you mean I don't understand? Do you mean ninjutsu?" he said confused.

Toshi blushed and nodded. "Ah, I guess I was being too book-ish. Yeah, can you show me some ninjutsu?"

"Oh im sorry I don't know any ninjutsu I'm completely Genjutsu sorry. Do you know any ninjutsu you could show me?"

Toshi shook her head sadly, then grinned. "I do have some weapons, though! D'you want to see?"

"Uh sure...oh wait I do know one" he said jumping up. "Do you wanna know?" he asked her.
