Training in Konoha

"ok I'll try" he said confidently and turned to the pond. "Katon:Fireball Jutsu!" he said focusing more and more chakra. "NOW!" he thought to himself and released a fireball the size of the top of a blossom tree.

"That's good! Now visualize burning an elephant!" she encouraged.

"Burning...an elephant? why" he asked and turned back to the pond.

"That was a phrase. I meant make a fireball big and intense enough to burn an elephant."

"Okay I guess that makes sense." he answered. Fallens focuses his chakra and visualizes an elephant a few yards away."KATON: FIREBALL JUTSU!" he said releasing a fireball no more and no less then the elephant he visualized. "Phew that last one took a lot out of me" he said sitting down and looking at Toshi smiling.

Toshi came over, still holding the scrolls. "That was AWESOME! You've got great chakra control! I bet you could master it in a week!"

Fallens let out a smile and asked "What other jutsu are there?".

"Um, there's also Grand Fireball Jutsu. I guess it's a much bigger version of the one you just did." Toshi dropped the scrolls clumsily and passed him the correct one after much hunting.

"I heard of this one jutsu" where the user will shoot out small bursts of fire with a shuriken hidden inside so it will hit the target but it sounds really complicated" he said taking the scroll.

(Do I add that jutsu to my list now?")

"Aw, you can do it," Toshi said enthusiastically(sp?) and hugged him with one arm. "It's going to be good for the Chuunins, anyway."

"Yeah your right it only takes a little bit of practice" he said happily. "But first I need to take a break and in the mean time maybe you can find out your chakra nature and we can practice together".

"Um... I already know what it is, but I'd rather not," she sighed. "... I have a small trauma towards fire."

"Oh I guess that explains when you hid behind that tree when I was practicing"

"Ah, yeah, sorry 'bout that," she said, blushing. "But I've been trying to get over the trauma. Well now, let's get training!"

"I'm really tired from that last jutsu why don't you show me your weapon skills?" he asked.

"My weapons...a lot of people see them as harmless and weak," she said, sighing sadly.

"Well after seeing that bear and knowing what it does I disagree"

Toshi smiled, and took out a yo-yo. "What do you think this one is?"

"If I were to guess I would say a yo-yo but I'm probably wrong aren't I?"

"Nah, it's just a yo-yo," she said, laughing. "It's to deceive my enemies. This, is real, though. Only touch the paper parts." She held up a packet of crayons.

"Oh" he said laughing. He touched the pack of crayons but only the part she said to. "What do those do?" he asked.

"The same as the bear, but it doesn't need to be chakra activated." Then she took out a piece of paper and folded it into a flower. "The simplest of things can be quite dangerous."

Fallens looks at it and retracts his hands and says "What does that do?".

"As soon as it comes in contact with your blood, you get poisoned," she said simply. "Don't worry though, I made the edges blunt."

"ok good...hey are you in a team?" he asked.
