"Oh! Well...do you intend to find out, or do you want to start a new life!"

Karkien waved his head, "New life. But if something comes up......then i will go after it to find the truth behind my past self."

"Something like?" Toshi tilted her head curiously.

"What is the cause of my other self." He said while looking down.

"Well, your life is what you make of it... Since I already ranted about myself, please, tell me about you," she said, smiling encouragingly at him.

Karkien looked at her and smilled, showing a bit of confidence.

"Let's start easy. What's your favourite food? Mine is chicken pie."

Karkien just waved his head. "I have none. I eat what the Nature can give me."

"Mm... Mine's chicken pie. Favourite color?"

Karkien just looked at himself for a moment. "Black?"

"Mine is...rainbow! Anything that's bright. Favourite animal?"

"Snake." He answered out quickly without thinking.

"Ooh. Why snake?"

"Because they are just like me." He said while still looking down.

"Hm, what do you mean by that? Now, now, don't look down when you talk to me." Toshi smiled, cupped his chin, and made him look up. "Explain?"

"The snakes.....live under the earth. They try to hide away. They just go out for food." He said with a cold look on his face.

"Ohh, I see. I like monkeys! They're cute and so darn huggable. Are you sneaky, like snakes?"

Karkien just nooded without saying anything.

"Hm, but you're still huggable!" Toshi grinned and hugged him warmly, nuzzling her head against his chest.

Karkien smilled while looking at her. It was good for him to see a other person that wouldn't consider him diferent.

"Karkien-san, thank you!" Toshi chirped, beaming as she kept hugging him.

Karkien smilled. "Just call me Karkien. Ok?" He asked while looking at her.

"Oh, all right. Anyway, thank you for cheering me up. C'mon, I'm taking you out today." Toshi grinned, took his hand and pulled him up. "You need to see life from my point of view."

Karkien just followed her without saying anything. Just with a smile on his face. Finally. Something goo was happening to him.

Once outside, on land, Toshi took a deep breath. "Ah, fresh air. Now, you have to trust me on this, okay? I have a surprise." She climbed onto his back and blindfolded him with a handkerchief.
