"Because i'm......I like it down here." He said quickly while looking away.

"First sign of bluffing is the inability to make eye contact," Toshi said, a light frown creasing her young face. She put her tea down and stood infront of Karkien, with one of her innocent, pleading smiles. "Tell me, pretty please?"

Karkien looked at he girl without moving or saying anything.

"Please? Do I have to get on my knees?" she asked, looking a bit distressed.

Karkien looked at her a bit amazed by what she said.

Toshi huffed, and got on her knees in front of him. She gave him the best dazzling smile she could try, after seeing Ember do it, but just looked like the little girl she was. "Please?"

Karkien quckly stood up and grabbed her raising her. "Never do that in front of me. Please." He asked with a worried look on his face where one of his eyes could be seen red as the fire itself while the other eye was still sky blue.

Toshi tilted her head, looking up at him in confusion. "Why not?" But she was more interested in his eyes. They reminded her of Aiden. Toshi cupped his face in her hands and smiled happily.

Karkien keeped looking at her. "Please. Never get on your knees or bow in front of me. Ok?" He asked while looking at her with some his long hair in front of his face.

Toshi brushed the hair from his face and looked up at him, still holding his face. "Why not?"

Karkien looked at her. "My other side." He said looking at her with on of his eyes red.

"Explain, please. My brain's starting to hurt," she said, frowning childishly in concentration.

Karkien looked at her with a calm expression.

"...Karkien?" Toshi looked up at him, curious.

Karkien smilled and pated her head.

"Please don't change the topic!"

"What you mean?" He said while lookinga t her now with his eyes back to the normal sky blue.

"About your red eye," she said, frowning, cupping one side of his face.

"I told you. It's my other side." He said while still looking at her.

"Explain to me, please?" she asked sweetly, hugging him.

Karkien looked at her and smilled. "It's confusing. I'm not even sure myself." He said with a distant look.

"Just try and explain. I've gone through some strange things." Toshi smiled up to him as well, sat down and made him sit down next to her.

"Well....it's kind of hard to remember. I just remembering waking up on a forest. But...once i waked up....." His voice fadded slowly as he looked at the floor.

"Once you woke up...?" Toshi squeezed his hand comfortingly.

Karkien nooded. "I don't remember my past."
