New Nara in town

"Just a bowl of plain ramen. I don't like exotic or special stuff." Toshi grinned as their orders were served. "Itadakimasu." She split her chopsticks and started to eat with a pace almost leveling Choji's.

Kaji watched her attack her ramen while he just took his time watching her while slowly slurping down noodles

Toshi lightly burped after she finished. "Ah..." Then she noticed Kaji watching her, and put a hand on his forehead. "What's wrong, Kaji-kun? Why are you staring?"

"i was just wondering if you actually taste the Ramen?" he asked "oh that and your pretty" he said bluntly

"Of course I taste it, I- huh?" Toshi blushed again. "You don't have to force yourself to say that, I know I'm plain," she mumbled, drinking her green tea she ordered.

Kaji was confused " i dont really force my self to do anything ... okay i force myself to keep up with Sempai but thats it " he said taking a sip of water "Toshi-Chan may i ask you a question"

"Sure." Toshi smiled, as her blush died down. "I'll answer whatever you ask - within reason, that is."

Kaji nodded and thought about how he was going phrase his question "Toshi - Chan why do you think your not pretty? "

"Because I see myself in the mirror everyday and all I see is a girly little boy. And have you tried comparing me to Miru-san? Next to her, I'm as pretty as a booger."

" jeez Toshi chan you do know that the Current Mizukage Mei Terumī used according to my Mother she used to be alot like you and now well she is a knock out but she has a mental break downs stems from losing her boyfriend to someone more attractive. I Dont really care about looks but you are for sure the prettiest girl in this whole village to me at least" he said as he continued eating his Chicken Ramen

Toshi almost spurted her tea. "Eh...um...well... I'm not her, now am I?" She sighed, and wiped her mouth, looking at her empty ramen bowl. "I'm the dirty little crow among the other birds...metaphorically, that is. I spend time reading, watching clouds and playing instead of training... Men want their girls to be strong, beautiful and independant, not weak, plain and vulnerable," she said, sighing.

Kaji sighed " but you do train a little own your own . . . plus I like reading watching clouds and playing games too" " hey i said i think your pretty"

"Have you even seen Miru-san?" But his comment cheered her up and Toshi laughed a little. "Thanks." She leaned over to give him a kiss on the cheek.

" I dont care what Miru looks like " kaji said pouting but he perked up and blushed when she kissed. " cause your the only girl I could have eyes for " he finished giving her a light hug

Toshi shook her head with a small smile on her face. 'That's what they all say.' "You have to see other girls first, before you say that. And I want you to meet Miru-san. Then you'll see what I mean when I said I was plain."

Kaji got up from his seat "alright Take me to Sempai's girlfriend and ill tell you shes not as pretty to me as you are" he told her taking out enough ryo to cover both meals

"Eh?! No, not now! I'm not allowed to bring home people unless they're my best friends!" Toshi said, shaking her head. "I don't want her to get upset! Plus, it's already night time! Um... I'll meet you at the hill where we watched clouds, okay? Good night!" Toshi kissed his nose lightly again, hugged him and sprinted away, flustered.

" okay night Toshi Chan" he called to her.
And so Kaji walked towards the Lotus

The next morning, Toshi had woken up past noon, as usual. She got out of bed lazily, took a cold shower and headed straight for the hill after getting dressed. There, she started to stretch her limbs as she waited for Kaji.

Kaji got out of the shower and dressed in his green tank and black shorts he made his way to the hill every one he passed got to the cold Kaji he was static and every one who got in his way he shoved past. but when he saw Toshi on the hill waiting he felt at ease " Hello Toshi Chan" he called jogging over to her

"Hi, Kaji-kun!" she said happily, waving. She was wearing her usual sleeveless yellow top and indigo pants. "Come, come, we're going to exercise today!" she said, determined.

" Hai " he said " if im a bit sluggish its cause i havent slept in 48 hours "

"You what?! Kaji, that's unhealthy! You need a nap! You stay here, I'll go get some food, alright?" Toshi scolded, making him lay down.
